2 words: November Rain.
RawenWarCrow yesss please😃😃
One Word, estranged.
Estranged is the most powerful of the trilogy...
Alex definitely has to finish the trilogy!
that's an amazing song ever
RIP Shannon Hoon who was in this video as the back up vocalist with Axl on the song. His high harmony was perfect for Axl's lower range melody lines.
axl says : dont you cry..
me : cries
RIP Shannon Hoon. He helped take this song to the next level.
Agreed 100% All those awesome falsetto harmonies are Shannon Hoon.
Amen
I just wish he was louder in the mix.
I need to go watch some Blind Mellon and mourn him all over again
@@miconis123 I mourn for my ears after having to hear anything from Blind Mellon.
My favorite person in this fuckin world loves you them.
I hated their sound and style.
I love her even though I mean little to her...so now love/hate for them.
It's a three-part trilogy. Don't cry then November Rain then estranged. It's all from a short story called without you. By Dell James. He wrote about Axl's Relationship with Erin Everley. Then Axl truned it in to the 3 part trilogy. I suggest you watch them in order. And I really appreciate your Raw emotion. Guns N Roses is my all time favorite everything.
Wow Xoal I did not that! Wow!
It makes sense
The trilogy was available on vhs. My brother had it.
@@Ozzy_2014 I used to have the set too, three VHS tapes "Guns and Roses - Making F*cking Videos", had a lot of back story on them and behind the scenes of the shoots. Also had a bit about there being two versions of this song.
Same man, they're my all time favorite band.
Guns N Roses have so many good songs. Welcome to The Jungle, Sweet Child of Mine, Civil War, Paradise City, You Could be Mine and November Rain. November Rain has possibly the best music video ever.
Estranged video and song are so much better than November Rain song and video
Yes! He should react to more of gnr
you're losing so many mire good songs! coma, breakdown, dont damn me ecc
he exemplified only the mainstream ones.
Coma is their best
Slashes smile just before he crashed 😂
I loved seeing him smile, always thought slash was fine as hell!
@@amandahogan5398 he really was though..I even thought he had no eyes before 😂✌🏻
Estranged has some of the best guitar ever! -Fact
Amen.
"I'll never find anyone to replace you, guess I'll have to make it through this time, without you".
@@shindrithargriethrat8408
"Oh this time, Without you.
I knew the storm was getting closer;
And all my friends said I was high.
But everything we've ever known's here;
I never wanted it to die" 🤘🏼
My favorite song ever! Its my finishing song on every run!
Tummesfake absolutely
To make the song even sadder, the guest vocalist on the song and in the video is Shannon Hoon, the singer from a band called Blind Melon. He died a couple years after this. It was an overdose, but a lot of people think it was intentional.
Form52 I thought the guy in the video was from Collective Soul?
Yep....for those who don't know, Blind Melon had a hit No Rain in the 90's.
Blind Melon was a great band in a bit more of a "hippy" vibe, lol . Some songs to check out: No Rain (the infamous bee girl video), Tones Of Home, Toes Across The Floor, Change, Galaxy, etc. They even did a quirky cover of Three Is A Magic Number from the old Schoolhouse Rock commercials. Unfortunately, Shannon was another heroin casualty, along with Kurt Cobain, Andrew Wood (Mother Love Bone), and Bradley Nowell (Sublime) in the 90s, and countless other musicians and entertainers throughout the years. Such a unique voice...
No one thinks it was intentional. Where did you hear that?
Shit i didn't know that was Shannon.
You said it from the start that this song is part of a trilogy of the story. November Rain and Estranged go along with it. November Rain really, really gets into on the emotional side. Also, to go along with that song you had stuck in your head....We are here for you so that doesn't happen anymore. Stick with us and soon you will wake up with a Pantera song in your head in no time. \m/ =D
Also, November Rain has the awesome desert solo.
yup now there is no other way to follow up with November rain and Estranged
Estranged is probably my fav GNR song of them all.
Estranged is the best GnR song ever!
Yes and I hope @Alex Hefner is watching this interaction. =D
They are literally one of the greatest band's alive and still rocking out once again 👍
Guns N Roses was so sick back in the day and still is... Timeless...👍👊😎
That slightly swaggering slow shot of Slash playing the end of the guitar solo just after the car blows up...just that imagery feels like quintessential Slash, sans the top hat. Dude will forever be visual definition of a rock guitarist, imo.
You are speaking the truth, bro!
Upvoted for 'sans'. Great word.
Guns n roses NOVEMBER RAIN!! Your goosebumps will have goosebumps!!
The goosebumps never go away. You'll get them every single time you listen to this song.
I want more Guns N Roses pleasee!!

i love all of them.
these are the famous ones.
Rocket queen
Joseph Smith ohh yess i forgot about it
it's awesome too
Live and let die
Guns N’ Roses is my favorite band of all time! This is an amazing song. A good song by them to react to that isn’t like their biggest hits that you may have heard somewhere, would be Rocket Queen, Night Train, or Mr. Brownstone. Those songs really show their true sound from ‘87
Welcome to the world of rock, it’s by far the best genre of music hands down, guns n roses are probably one of the best bands of all time... no debate these are facts...
I always loved how Shannon Hoon from Blind Melon is doing backing vocals on those rooftop scenes. Supposedly he was a friend of Axl's sister from back in the day in Indiana and Axl, despite being a huge diva and a bit of an asshole, was said to be really nice to people who knew him from before he hit it big, and he helped Blind Melon get signed to Geffen.
He also tried to do the same with Hanoi Rocks
Axle had a bad life here in Indiana and him and Shannon were friends and he helped get Shannon started.
@@janellekyle7529 What about people who live in Lafayette, do they hate Axl or is him kind of an icon?
Well bugger me, I never knew it was him. Love No Rain.
Guns n Roses~ Estranged ❤️🙏🏼
"i've never heard don't cry"
*I'm sorry i don't know this language*
guitar covers 307 neither do I
Oh Alex, I Think that this is so fake..are you kiddin' me?!
@@pacomassa1379 If you were born after it came out, it's very easy not to have heard it, or not to know it... There's no MTV everybody watches anymore to play it 24/7 to everybody... Unless you go looking for it, or randomly hear it in some movie/tv series, you wont find it. Especially if you're not into rock and not checking out rock playlists in UA-cam/Spotify etc
Goosebumps? Estranged by Gn'R will give you goosebumps! I swear, it will bring tears to your eyes. It's the soundtrack of my life , I have so many memories to it. And you will definitly enjoy it! To say it in your words: It's DOPE!
Sound track of my life too! :)
That’s how I feel about November Rain my G. NR was the first song to ever make me shed a tear.
I agree, that song is tatted on my arm for that very reason.
Might not be the soundtrack to my life, but it sure does send me to Valhalla and back everytime I here it!
Every time i hear the bridge, i get goosebumps
If you watch this video in 1992 you will taste more awesome and than you see now. You can fell this band rules the world and you will see it in tv and hear it in every radio stations in this planet. The band are legend...

If you find a time machine...
Check out "November Rain" by G&R, amazing Slash solos in that one!
Guns n Roses my favorite band so fucking good and Slash is the BEST good reaction man!
hahahaha
Are we separating person from player? If positive yes Slash is one the best guitar players out there
In my eye not the best person to be labeled with (I've heard stories about him and bassist Duff that are not cool to say the least)
Axl hates slash for some reason I don't like him much either
try the GnR anti war song "Civil War"
That's a great under-rated song
My second favorite GnR jam second to You Could Mine. Both are stellar tracks, good call, my dude.
What so civil about war anyway
That's my favorite
Were not gonna just ignore Slash's epic head flip at 5:38
Yes i love you for reacting to this song. This is my favorite guns n roses song
Boba Fett mine is estranged i think
A lot of people don’t realise that Shannon hoon out of blind melon did backing vocals on this track, an amazing band worth checking out brother
I like Locomotive!
roygmartinez omg locomotive is fcking amazing
Please do Sweet Child Of Mine!
Alex, you should do a reaction to "You could be mine"
It's a song that was used in the soundtrack for Terminator 2
Karl Smith that’s right!
"November Rain" is even better and more iconic! Don't miss out on it, please. We'd love to see you react to it.
Shannon Hoon added to this song was absolutely amazing! Took it to a whole different level!
#NovemberRain #GNR too!!
React to Welcome to the Jungle by Gun's and Rose's
Hands down my all time favorite band! Named my son Axl he is 15 today & is also a huge fan and is learning guitar thru slash tutorials. I'm 34 and will play use your illusion as well as all the other albums on a daily basis. I'd give anything to go see them live.
its amazing 💖
This song's definitely one of my all time favorites. I just love it... Goosebumps everytime I listen 😅
Gn'R - "November Rain" - "Welcome to the Jungle" - "Civil War" - "Mr. Brownstone" - "Night Train" 🤘

Cali . . Agreed, he needs to react to it
YAAAAAAAAS!!!!
I comment that every video
That needs to happen! 😱
Ya a little piece of heaven with the animated video
One of my favourite GnR songs. It's actually my warm-up song every time I pick up the guitar.
“Patience” gives me goosebumps every time.
Ice Nine Kills - Me, Myself, and Hyde!!! Or The Nature of The Beast! Or Communion of The Cursed! Heck, all of the singles of "Every Trick in the Book". You'll love it!
👍
Best band of all time
Yeah
Not even close, they are good though.
Yes
Only if you count one album

Is it weird that this song always makes me cry? 😅
Don’t cry haha
Hey Alex! Just wanna say, men it is so cool to see you react on my favourite songs ever! Don’t stop doing what you are doing you are killing it! Peace Bro!
ZZ TOP - SHARP DRESSED MAN
The other singer in the video is Shannon Hoon who was the lead singer of Blind Melon before his overdose in 1995.
It's crazy how well Shannon Hoon's voice complemented Axels'. Id suggest listening to "No Rain" by Blind Melon. Shannon had such a unique voice.
Had a blast watching your reactions. Found it kinda cool how you got goosebumps at the exact times I ALWAYS got them since I first heard the song back in the day.
I'm wondering if you will be doing 80's and 90's Hair Bands (Poison, Warrant, Britney Fox, Def Leppar etc) next? I think that would be so much fun to see you react to.
*Wintersun-Sons of winter and stars*
Live at Sonic Pump Studios of course

Yes! The live studio version!
He should definitely try that one.

Motörhead - Overkill Live Full-HD is great to react to. It shows how intens their live shows are
Everything louder than everything else!!! My ears still hurt from the motorhead show I went to...8 years ago!!
Jack the ripper is my favourite Motörhead song 👌
Good job on the research n what you said connects perfectly with the 2nd vid in the trilogy, November Rain. Great reaction
I was like 17 when these albums came out. I've got a lot of emotional memories connected to Don't Cry, and November Rain... always tear up.
Possibly thier more underappreciated song such beautiful lyrics and a great groove there are so many songs guns n roses you'd love mr brownstone paradise city November rain it's so easy a whole bunch
Demon Hunter: Fading Away
Disturbed: Inside the Fire
Trivium: Down From the Sky
All that Remains: Two Weeks
AkumaZabuza DEMON HUNTER!!!!!
Mason Sloan hes never gonna listen to them but i keep trying lol
AkumaZabuza Demon Hunter are the reason I’m a metalhead! My brother was ten years older than me so I always looked up to him and loved the music he listened to and he listened to Demon Hunter nonstop while he was in high school and I was in elementary school lol
Mason Sloan hahaha thats kool! Most probably im your brothers age.
One of my all time favourite bands, Alex please do more reactions to their songs 👍
I saw when it premiered years ago. Great reaction. I had goosebumps while you had goosebumps lol. You need to finish the trilogy my man...November Rain and then Estranged. My favorites of all-time.
Love this song for a long time! :)
NEXT: Aerosmith - Dream on ;)
Man, there's a lot of things behind this song and the other two of the trilogy that are November Rain" and "Estranged'. VERY basically these three songs are based in a history called "Whitout You" by Del James, and this history is based in Axl's life. The history is about a rockstar called Mayne (Axl) and his girlfriend Elizabeth (Stephanie Seymor , her was the biggest love that Axl ever had in his life).Mayne was totally in love with Elizabeth and that feeling was reciprocal, until during a tour, Mayne asked Elizabeth to find him where the band would be playing that night . She said she could not go. Mayne was depressed and then decided to have a party with some groupies. The problem was that Elizabeth was actually preparing a surprise for him, going to visit him at the hotel that night, however, when she came in her saw that scene, and this left her so sad and disappointed that her disappeared. Mayne tried to call her a several times, but she never answered. Then for some reason, Mayne wondered that Elizabeth would try to kill herself. Then he ran to Elizabeth's house. When he arrived, he heard a shot and he knew what she had done, Mayne's feeling was confirmed as he opened the door and saw half of her head burst.
Then Mayne, heart broken and feeling guilty, amidst all her suffering, wrote a song for Elizabeth called "Without You," so that she could hear him from the sky. Unfortunately, when he finally finished the song and could play it for the first time, he dropped his cigarette and his rug burned, tough Mayne did not let go of the piano and did not leave the house until the song was finished.
Very basically that's the story, and each one of the three songs has a meaning. The one from Don't Cry you already read in the begining of the video. To know the meaning of the other two you will need to listen to the songs ;) I really hope that this help you to understand this amazing trilogy and I'm sorry for the big text.
This is my Guns N’ Roses’ favorite song. Love it!
I love the mix of those 2 voices...Brings me back to when I bought this album and #2 on the release date. I got a free poster, that was a big deal then.
Do Stairway to heaven or kashmir by Led Zeppelin bet you'd love these
Filip Wudkowski Kashmir Led Zeppelin. But beware Copyrights
November Rain next time please !!!
What you're missing is, it's a trilogy. November Rain, Don't cry, and estranged. They don't necessarily follow each other, it's more like a circle where watching all the three music videos will give you a more complete picture. Do listen to all the songs, love the reactions!
This song makes me cry every time. They played it at my best friends funeral. Love gnr
Please react to Heaven and Hell from Black Sabbath (with Dio) it is one of the best songs not just in metal but in music history
Only 3 likes?!
Igor Barbosa Is that true? I can't find it anywhere
The best one of black with Dio in vocals
Don't wanna piss anybody, I love GnR, but these videos are so cheesy
freyzer B.Castro amen
A little piece of heaven by A7X
I really envy you that you now have a recording of yourself experiencing this. I wish i could recall my first time(s) of taking this song in.
Thanks AXL, for your songs and your music.
React to Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, Sweet Child O’ Mine or November Rain (all of them are by Guns N’ Roses) Welcome to the Jungle is the best introduction to GNR. Like if u agree!!
For sure, Jungle is definitely the best intro to the band...
And also It's So Easy is great, not the best introduction, but a great song.
Welcome to the jungle isnt even one of their 7 best songs.
Welcome to the Jungle! I fucking love GnR, saw them in Stockholm 2017 and Gothenburg this year, best band of all time!

I'm a simple man I see a Alex Hefner notification and I click
Congratulations on 700k
Needed to pause the vid to write this.
My first love was an absolute mismatch but she had a few positive impacts on me. I heard this song for the first time through that person.
I was so much in love that when I found the tabs of this song that she had printed out, I learnt it!!
First time using tabs but I still made it through.
It didn't work out, which I'm happy that it didn't, however every time I hear this song I remember her.
I still can play this song although not so eagered to play it.
She used to play piano and I loved to watch her playing Beethoven's moonlight sonata.

Shannon Hoon was the backup singer in this video from Blind Melon. You need to review Blind Melon Galaxie; it's beyond surreal. 🤓🤘😎
One of my all time favorites.
I know that feels man!!!... That same song was stuck in my head for days!!!...... Lolol
Sweet Child O Mine and November Rain are my two fav Guns N Roses songs. They are my fav band of all time. More please. If you want a heavier songs then Welcome to the Jungle is amazing. VH1 rated it has the best hard rock song of all time.

My wife and I had "November Rain" while our wedding ceremony. So awesome. Both of us have grewn up with Guns n Roses. Love your reaction. (Coming a bit late to your channel)
That’s great! Some classic rock n roll songs definitely should be brought to people in present days, and to inspire the new generation. 🤘🏻
You should listen to Jerry Was a Racecar Driver by Primus. It's a weird song, but the musicianship is amazing.
Please do Ne Obliviscaris - And Plague Flowers The Kaleidoscope! ✨
It’s really cool that you break down songs in an all intelligent manner as you’re reacting to them 👍
Creepy thing he's 6 feet under naked and shivering, alone and frightened, looking up to the light coming through his tombstone. Poetic and terryfying.
Deftones - Be quiet and drive (far away) or Minerva
I know how you like melodic and heavy mixed, they are the perfect band for it.
or even Digital bath, there's too much to choose from.
React to the rest of the trilogy, November Rain and Estranged. Estranged is my favorite GN’R song and probably my favorite of all time!
I love your choices! Just started watching you today. It seems we have similar taste❤️👍
still gets to me when i see shannon hoon on that roof top loved that guys music, shannon hoon was lead singer off blind melon and good mates with axel who sadly passed :( he's singing backup basicly dressed like axel on the rooftop

Hi Alex
When my doughter was born in November 1991, they played this song on the radio when i hold her in my arms a couple minutes after she was born, so this song is very special to me 💕
