@@kindkidbk There's a general sense that the 3 of them are want to reunite for the self titled album's 20 year anniversary (especially now with everyone's newfound appreciation for it). It will likely be something the do every 10 years (they did a similar tour in 2013). Otherwise, you would be hard pressed to find any other reason.

He recovered so quickly. What a true champion. The guys in blink were my childhood heroes. They are the reason I picked up drums and guitar 20 years ago and I still play all the time now. I will always love them for that.🤘

I’m pretty sure it was his money which allowed access to good doctors and quick discovery of the disease that saved him, not same innate champion ability he had
@@williamphillips2671 jfc, THANK YOU. I came here to say this. Everyone always conveniently forgets about the monetary aspect of stuff like this when they want to get all romantic about it. It wasn't a miracle. He paid for revolutionary treatment. Should anyone commenting be diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma, the story would be the very opposite of "miraculous".

yeah that is incredible. I don't want to come across as a pessimist but I didn't think it would happen. Stage 4 for a lot of people is curtains.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. More so than anything like new music or a reunion tour, I'm happy he and Mark are friends again. I'm happy Mark is recovering and healing. I'm happy Tom's moving on from a painful divorce and seems well. This was a highly important band to my growing up and even though they are essentially strangers to me, their happiness together makes the surrounding bleakness a little less intense.

They're all almost 50 if not already, I'd say their blink days are over, they should stay apart band wise and just focus on their own thing, but that's just my opinion, if they did get back together I wouldn't object

The first half of the title had me so worried.....then the 2nd half had me cry tears of relief. Way to go, Mark. These guys were my entire childhood
Blink in my opinion has the most influential band members. Tom, Mark, Travis and Matt Skiba are all amazing artist's and super talented beyond the music. Cancer is anyone's worst nightmare that sadly has a way of becoming a reality for way too many people in our world, some before they have ever have any idea what pain even is. BADASS Mark kickin' Cancer to the curb and right on for all the awareness on the issue.

Blink 182, Sum 41, & Good Charlotte mastered radio punk rock. Their music was so easy to digest even when it was super busy & loud. All 3 should tour together & give us one last lap around the track.
I’m super proud of his business ventures. Tom has multiple companies throughout the world. So inspiring. Awesome rocker too.

James Corden didnt handle this interview well, but I really respect Tom DeLonge. Angels and Airwaves are an incredible band. I personally think their songs are Tom's best musical work. I think James could have done more with this interview.

Am I the only fan who wants to hear a 4 member Blink album? Half the album being original Blink (Mark, Tom, Travis) then the other half being current Blink (Mark, Travis, Matt) so this way Tom would only need to be with them in the studio for half the time. I think it would be incredible. It's obvious that Tom is sticking with AVA and there's nothing wrong with that, but maybe this would be the last Blink album he'd be willing to do for us fans...
I like the idea of having all four of them do an album, but idk about the half and half idea. I feel like it would be hard for Tom to do half an album and not get emotionally invested in it and want to do the whole thing. He's literally one of the busiest people alive so i get where your'e coming from with the time thing. Fingers crossed we can see Tom back with Mark and Travis in some form sooner rather than later !

Tom really isn’t down with that pop stuff, blink has recently released. I’m not saying it’s bad, I listen to my fair share of pop rock/punk. Tom is into that more cinematic and sometimes heavy sound hence the boxcar album and to the stars solo album..His album with blink called neighbourhoods is one of their best they ever released. Tom has already got together with travis and recorded songs for a new boxcar so would love to hear.

Same! For me, neighbourhoods and dogs eating dogs felt like the most natural progression from Self Titled. I'm stoked that some are enjoying the Skiba stuff, but it feels very phoned in, very fake, very superficial to me. It sounds like music that any generic pop punk band could put out, not the sheer magic that is Blink 182.

Let me just say, I played in a punkpop band back in the early 2000’s, I was a huge blink fan and my bandmate was a Trio fan. I never comment on anything…but I’ve been listening to Blink 182 for 20+ years and I’m sorry, but imo Matt Skiba might be great in his own right, but you can’t have Blink without Tom DeLonge…his voice is unique and that’s a huge part of Blink’s sound
