More great work, grooming your forest. Melissa, running through the woods was the picture of athletic elegance. She reminded me of Diana Riggs, in the old Avengers TV shows. A lady, a knock-out, and fully capable of dealing with any problem in trousers. The spirit, brains, and strength, she displays in in ordinary situations. They certainly can be put to other uses, in difficult ones. Melissa and the other Morgan ladies add a unique element to the channel. Thank you all.

Good morning Morgan Family. Now that's a perfect machine for Ms. Melissa to operate. If she can't back it up, MOW IT DOWN IN FRONT OF YOU. Like folks said Mr. Mike, you are having waaaaaay to much fun, and I am so happy watching you have that fun. Thanks for keeping everyone safe around that Tasmanian Devel. SMART MAN!

Sorry Melissa, I vote for calling the lower loop....Maple Grove! Has a nice ring to it that is easy to remember! Love the video and the catchy tune. Gets me motivated to complete my own projects! Just put up a shed, built a deck off my retaining wall overlooking the marsh and still have to cut down all the plants in the flower beds! Multi-tasking! Thanks and hope you had a great birthday! P.S. Nice skid steer birthday present!

I watch most if not all of your posts and I love them. In one of your trail mulching videos you mentioned peoples negative comments about your clearing. I live out West where wild fires are awful. These wild fires can all be blamed on environmentalism and their demands that the forest be left alone. I personally believe in keeping the undergrowth mowed down and I have never found that wildlife left the area. My personal opinion (unsolicited as it is) would be that you should go in there and mulch all the undergrowth. Please keep the videos coming.

Murphy Tractor - no 100k, but I backed out of buying approx 90 acres in South OK 6-months ago as it was so thick, I figured it would take me 10-years of chainsawing, winching, and pushing into burn piles to clear fence lines and some crossing trails.....M&M have certainly edumicated (yes it’s spelt right) thx to you and that beast......thank you all for removing my fear of buying thick growth land.

I really enjoy all the big yellow toys and Mike talking about stuff, but when Melissa show's up all that stuff stops and I can't seem to breath very well. She is just WOW. And the dogs are great too. What's their names again? Ruger, Piper, and ? Oh well. Seriously , I do enjoy these vids. Everything about them just fascinates me. I will be honest to admit a large amount of envy for all the land you seem to have and your ability to work it so well. God bless you all and please continue the videos.

Randy Carpenter great point and even more so with skid steer’s. Given their smaller stature compared to bigger equipment people ofter underestimate the risks associated. I own one and treat it’s risk’s like all other machinery.

We have names for various areas on our property as well as for the trails and different blinds and tree stands- cedar crest, misery hill, big rack, etc. as a matter of safety. Knowing where you are and having the ability to convey that to somebody who knows the layout of the land is helpful if you have a problem or need help dragging a big buck. I also have reflective thumb tacks along the trails every ten yards or so because it gets really dark in the woods and some areas can be a bit confusing for visiting hunting buddys once the sun goes down. I suspect that Ty's trail to the brick house will soon become your most traveled trail in the near future.

I think Murphy Tractor got their money's worth by letting you use that machine. Better than a commercial and a lot cheaper too. If I had the property and the money I would buy one. It's an amazing machine. Your trails remind me of a friends family property. He had trails all through it. We would ride his Ranger around it. In the spring the water would be over the floorboards on a large section of the property. In the fall we wou5take my old pickup truck out there and cut firewood. I sure miss those days.

A couple of suggestion for running the mulcher. Throttle up. The mulcher need flow that comes from engine RPM. Secondly, tilt the mulching head back close to 30 degrees, then lower the head into the tree. This will inflect the maximum energy into the tree and keeps you from having to move.
    Keep up with the videos.

Back when I went hunting with my father we had an aerial photo of the property and all the trails drawn in . Everything was named (Planted Pines, Rooneys Field, Orchard, Basin, ...est) so we knew where everyone else was and for those new to the area was easy to learn. Should be easier with modern GPS systems and online satellite maps.
