Big fan of your videos. I enjoy how you walk us through why you do things the way you do, it helps fill in the blanks. Keep working hard and we'll keep enjoying the videos!
I can see you’re ever so good , brilliant doing and enjoying your job , yes I’m also mesmerise watching you , I really really like your John Deere MTL XCT Brush Cutter , excellent tool /equipment for clearing extremely overgrown piece of land. I would like to see more of your videos pls. Thank you.
I love watching you mow those over grown jungle yard etc.. You have to have a good feeling of accomplishment when you’re finally done with a job like that!! Keep up the good work!! Be looking forward to more jungle mowing .
Maybe a drone shot of before and after would speak volumes for the scope of these projects, to the untrained eyeball it might goes unappreciated exactly how crazy these projects really are. 👍👍👍
Living in the high desert on 5 acres with all the tumble weeds and scrub brush I appreciate seeing how these work so well. We don't have them out here. I don't know why. They would make a fortune. I want one.
This is so satisfying. I'm sure this would be my dream job. I love heavy equipment and I actually like mowing. One day i hope to be able to get a machine and do this. Never ran a skid steer before but if i owned one i'd put in more then enough time to learn them. especially being able to stay cool. Man you are blessed!
New subscriber, been watching for about a week. You do some great work, I relax and watch your videos. I will say that who ever is doing your editing, they do a great job with the music, you can tell when the double time is about to end, because the music is keyed to end at the same time. Just something that I have notice. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
Thanks for the comment and the subscribe! I'm really glad you enjoy the vids, I've had several people tell me watching is relaxing for them. I do my on editing on a program called Filmora. I taught myself so its definitely something I've gotten better at since I started the channel and continue to get better at so you guys get the best vid possible.
Another good one! As a compulsive Andrew Camarata consumer, I have to say that the ratio of time lapse/standard footage that works well for keeping people's attention is closer to 80/20. Part of that is the fact that he has a second camera, I'm sure, so the wide shot is always getting captured, and he can make a time lapse for that. You can also try mounting higher in the cab and switching to Wide (assuming this is a GoPro or similar) and getting that time lapse, switching to standard when you hit something interesting. Keep 'em coming!
Thanks for the feedback! Andrew has a great channel and I love watching his stuff as well. Even though we do slightly different stuff he's definitely been an inspiration for me on how to film this stuff and making it interesting for viewers.
Well i think that the difference is that this is a mower attachment, while the drum models are more like mulchers. I mean, this one here works wonderful for this kind of brush and small trees, but if you have bigger stuff like stumps and such a drum mulcher is a little bit better. Well, its like they say in Far Cry 6: "Always use the right tool for the job." XD
It's amazing what kudzu can do to a tree. Love to see that crappy vine come down. Kudzu topped some nice junipers in my yard. I cut the vines at ground level, the deer took care of the new growth.
I wish I had one of those babies when I worked on similar jobs in England! It would have been me getting my chainsaw and hand held brushcutter going and disappearing into the undergrowth for weeks!
There's something about a giant field of grass and bushes and then you take it down! and it's so relaxing to watch!! It's crazy I never knew I enjoyed watching grass get cut! You are not just cutting grass you're changing the way the world looks
The reason I ask is... several years ago in Tennessee a company clearing a lot uncovered an abandoned cemetery with over 60 headstones. Turned out ground radar discovered about 100 graves all dating to the civil war. The lot looked as overgrown as this one.
BOB Joatmon I just finished a 2 acre cut of my property that looked remarkably like this. I used a walk behind brush cutter. It was brutal work, this is so much better.
And it even cuts up snakes I have a tractor with a brush mower at least every year but when we have big fires starting it is in like depends what mount if there is a sneeeek tractor either squish the sneeeek or cut the sneeeek
Excellent video. I hope you silenced the grapeheads who tell you to walk through the lot before cutting. A copperhead can be a very persuasive point in your favor. Your use of camera positions was first-rated as was your set-up narration. But there was no need to apologize at the end. You did everything perfectly. Looking forward to Part 2.
I just showed this to my mother, who's 100 years old (really), and she was fascinated and loved watching the entire thing. She was most interested that this machine can cut down such large stuff, as well as grind it all up to where the area looks like it's a lawn.
That's awesome! Tell her thanks for watching and I'm glad she enjoyed the content! If she likes this there are ton more vids on my channel of this cutter attachment mowing stuff down!
I am impressed what these can do on skid steers, I have an older Kubota that pretty much sizes up to a M135 today, hydro top link and a Big Bee SCL760HD Rotary Cutter its rather insane what it will do. There are couple company's that offer units like this for front loaders with a PTO driven pump. I am going to look into it I don't have a ton of use for it on the farm but would be nice to keep fence rows trimmed high. But for that random person needing something done at times would be easier on the front.
Agreed! When I finish a vid the first thing I do is watch the finished product and its always cool to see the time-lapse and see how everything gets mowed down.
This is so cool but yet I don't know why and I just keep watching and watching and watching LOL this has got me in the zone especially when you're wearing VR goggles
They burnt women at the stake claiming they were witches for farting at the wrong time, I can not imagine what they would do to you for having one of these.
Amazing what hydraulic machines are capable of, this is so enjoyable to watch. Thank you for bringing us along. Curious if you have tunes in your ears, or if the sound of the machine is all you need haha!
Describing the property, buildings on it, size, etc would be neat... Maybe even show a Google Earth overview of the property even would be awesome. Looks like old neat buildings there
I just had to clear all around 10 acres. To install barb wire and 2 3/4 pipe front fence i hope it helps to increase the price on it.. good job my friend 👏
This happened to me a couple of years ago, 2 acres of my land had overgrown and I had to get heavy equipment to clear it, ton of Blackberries bushes destroyed but it was becoming a jungle, so now its smooth land
I hope you charge enough to do that kind of work not to mention ware and tare on the machine. Great job. A friend of mine just bought the 40 acres next to mine. I offered to cut a path around the fence line back in April. He said dont bother. I'm glad because now I can't do it with my John Deere 3038E with a 60in Bush hog. Way to overgrown. Now He can hire someone like you.😆
Found this at 2am when I couldn't sleep. Oddly I find these type of videos satisfying. Love seeing an overgrown lot be sculpted into usable property. Keep the content coming! Great work!

Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed! Typically no, the area will get raked whenever it get develops. Until then most owners are content to let them be as they are and get mowed every 6 months or so. This one hadn't been cut in awhile so it was a bit worse than what is typical.
Nice video. I have a 333d and my grandpa has the 333g. He has the forestry mulcher for his. I been looking at these ones, mainly because the price. They're a lot cheaper, and looks like they do the job.
Hey John! 333 series is a great machine! If you have high flow these rotary cutters are a beast! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Hey, great video. Is your rotary cutter that you're using a high flow unit. Seems like you spend a lot of time backing out and letting the cutter recover.
Do you run your own company and if so how much are all the operating cost for equipment, insurance, etc... vs how much you generally make per sq foot or however you charge by
What hydraulic flow rate did you get with this attachment? Using high flow? Also, did you do the direct drive motor or piston motor? Thanks for the video.

@@idigit4967 is that a regular ol brush hog, mulcher, or forestry head?
Brush Hog, with tree guard. Use this in the spring, then rent a brushcat from bobcat for fall cut. The following spring cut will be butter!

Do you have others solution rather than this?
@@onnomar510 possibly, but you gotta use what you have and what's wrong with this? It cuts it down to nothing....
