Pioneer was/maybe still is some kind of king of DJ hardware and clearly a lot of people are expecting more from them. For me, as a future DJ (hopefully) their old hardware like CDJ-2000, DJM-2000 offer much more than a lot of today controllers, are easy to use and will be hard to see a new product to reset their standards. Pioneer know that and, in my opinion, they started this hype to engage more people to be interested in their products because probably they will offer a new feature that will add another standard for future controllers. All this pictures around internet amplify their hype and I think this is the reason why they wait till new info will be published. In my opinion, judging "E" letter from "NEW DIMENSION" make me believe that they will implement their own AI straight intro players and you will be able to split song in voice, rhythm and harmony which will help DJ's to remix a song "On The Fly". They already implemented a voice detection algorithm in rekordbox which doesn't work too well as far as I saw and which wasn't implemented to be seen on any of their controllers. So, I think that this new players will be launched with a new version of rekordbox which will fix that and if I am right, more people will be able to stream anywhere without be afraid of getting banned or "muted" by streaming platforms because in that moment DJ-ul will be music creators with this remixes.
I decided to delve into the SC6000 from Denon. It’s such a welcome change. Pioneer has been at the forefront of DJing for so long that I think they forgot what it meant to be, well, pioneers of the trade. Now they are trying to play catch-up with the amazing SC6000 series media players. If I’m looking at that CDJ3000 right, it even looks like they kept the same 7” screen. Now that I have players with 10” screens and dual layers I just don’t want another Pioneer kit for $700 more. And you only get 1 player at that higher price. I’m sticking with Denon on this evolution of DJ gear.
Absolutely well said ! You're right about this. Well I'm keeping my comments to myself right now coz the final announcement is not out yet. Once that is out. We will have a clear picture of what will be the evolution.
I am a little dissipated visually. However we don't know anything about them yet. So i would wait until Tuesday since they'll be releasing the video for it. Hopefully they'll make up for it with lower price and more features

Iv been with Denon the last few years, with the sc5000s then sc5000Ms.....................properly priced equipment, feature packed and solidly built. I never in a million years thought i’d be buying Denon gear over Pioneer but iv never been happier with my gear. Really hope Pioneer up their game here with the new release. The DJM V10 looks amazing but at £2700 again just way overpriced....................unless Pioneer start packing their gear with lots of features and lowering their pricing they are going to lose their grip on the dj booth!
Simon Shields the V10 isn’t a replacement for the 900 though. Also if you look at their recently released gear they have been very affordable like the 1000 srt or the XDJXZ which is pretty much two of those media players and a nexus mixer combined. Also when the 2000nx2 came out Pioneer didn’t have any competition, now they do. So my guess for this unit is under $2000
There is not “eject button “ in the picture which it might be CDless, but with the emule functionality . Maybe it is a real picture, but I still don’t know what it is the main feature of this one.

The CDJ 2000 needed and update. It will probably have wifi for DropBox. I like the big touch screen. Pioneer has never been known for making drastic changes. I guess I'm not sure what you were expecting?

Seems pretty legit to me. The only thing which raises a suspicion, that this might be a fake, is the rotary knob. It just looks out of place. The positioning of the two buttons above the knob is in line with the edge of the player. Which gives me an impression that this might be a photoshopped image. After seeing the trailer, I was hoping to see a motorized platter. If this is the new product, it is damn depressing.

Nothing special, it’s actually a copy of the denon in a plastic box, and it’s even shitty. Pioneer, this company is no longer what it was. Denon is miles ahead of you, your market is constantly disappearing.
I think the big appeal with CD’s is that anybody who had been collecting music for more than 10 years has 1000’s and ripping or repurchasing is a timely expensive venture. And if your willing to burn them it lowers the bar of entry to the CDJ word as older players are available at low cost and those older players have much higher quality DAC’s than anything digital you will find in the same price range. That being said, this thing looks like POS next to those new Denons.
I hope, about Pioneer, thi is a FAKE..they can't release this crap in 2020.. and I think is FAKE because they've released a monster mixer (V-10) and they can't drop this ones as their flagship players..I can't believe that..

Saw this pic on Facebook, the screen is literally warped, the lettering for the hotcues is in the wrong place as well as the led strips that should be at the side not at the bottom. The teaser also seemed to show the hotcues being vertical not horizontal so I'm pretty confident this is fake Edit: The screen also doesn't line up with the boarder it's really wonky so just more proof it's fake
