I get chills every time I hear her sing. She is incredible! There's so much emotion in what she sings as well as just being pitch perfect. She is just amazing. I love her.

Born for the Theatre , which she's being doing. Sometimes your face doesn't fit . She has a great voice but she also has the feeling/ emotion . Brilliant.

I think it’s absolutely magnificent! I see a lot of people are disappointed with the song choice. But, think about this. Starlight Express is running in London and Andrew Lloyd Weber called her. It’s a very strategic move considering how big she is right now. It’s kind of brilliant. And she nailed it!!!

Sydnie is pretty special
The first time I listened to this was in the Spotify. Only sound, no video. I had chills all over me again just like in her BGT performances. She's truly a beautifull star that lights today's music industry. Thank you Larry for this reaction.
I truly believe she may wind up being demanded as a solo artist before the theater community can grab her!
I have also been saying this to, which is why i think her new management team signed her record deal for September 20 release and a short 15 mini tour date in the UK. I think they know they signed a GEM of a singer and grow her brand and popularity IMMEDIATELY while the iron is hot. After her album release, tour and performing in front of the King, they will re-evaluate her popularity and go from there. IF the West End comes calling with a lead role I'm sure she will take it, as that's OBVIOUSLY her dream gig. If not why not come over to the States and build her brand. I would drive 100's of miles and pay TOP $$$ to see her perform live. I can only wish she comes to ST. LOUIS. I'm sure NY would be her first stop. I have NOT been moved emotionally by a new singer in years. This young lady's voice and videos have TRULY inspired me, like Barbara Streisand used to do 😋

I’d really LOVE it if they sold so many tickets they’d be forced to change venues (like Caitlin Clark has done for the WNBA) it would be so awesome if she could sell out Albert Hall! I’m obsessed with her! Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion are the only theatrical-type singers that have moved me before Sydnie. I wonder if Barbra has heard her yet…

My ophthalmologist tells me I have almost zero tear activity yet each time I hear/watch Sydnie sing my eyes are drenched......Larry, you are right - she belongs on stage and she spent three years at theatre college. But I'm sure she can do pop too. Sadly, we might not hear any new tracks from her for a few months now. She flies to Prague shortly to record an album which i believe will be released November time.She will also be touring the UK later in the year.

Sydnie's Starlight Express is so personal, it's her own, again: Lloyd Webber involved her to record her version only the other day, so here it is.
On the stage for certain, as a soloist, with some theatre work, as well should be her arena for far more than just five more years, even till she has to retire in maybe 30 more years, God willing.
Also, just now, on IG, she posted what looks like a Christmas time theatre roll she has landed as "fairy Christmas" in a Sleeping Beauty production in England. This will be also into the new year, and after her GB tour in Oct; "GB" because her nationwide itinerary doesn't reach Belfast this time, besides the 15 venues she will be on stage in.
Sorry Chris, you can't have her, she belongs in the West End.

Her album is being released 20th Sept. I have VIP tickets for opening night of her tour which begins October 5th. Beyond excited. She sings for Royal Family at RVP concert later in the year.
Sydney is an amazing singer. I think she should not only do theatre, but also be a recording artist. I think her voice covers both area's. And please keep your puppy. It takes time, but they always come good in the end. And please show us.

Definitely musical theatre...You call it open, Chris, but I call it Shakespearean enunciation: Sharp N Eddd Stikkkk. No one in real life does that, but you have to be able to hear it in row 100 of the Cruise LIne theatre, with the engine humming in the background and three seasick folks in the front. Combine that with a belt from a steel radial, and you have Christmastime!

Easiest way to housebreak a dog. Give them treats and a lot of praise when they do their business outside. Do and say nothing when they have an accident inside. Dog will quickly learn to hold it, in order to get all the praise and yumyums outside. :)

Your voice distorts a bit on a few of the videos you've made, and that would help some I think. :) It's fun to watch another person who enjoys Sydnie as much as I have come to enjoy her. If you know Broadway performers from the Midwest like Michigan, very similar sound. Europeans when they do broadway tend to take on the flat innunciation of the region which sounds like what you expect a dictionary reader to sound like with zero to little affect of regionality.
Please try 3 - cranberries zombie - sinead O'connor nothing compares - Shakespeares sister Stay. All beautiful female vocals and incredible messages. The videos really add too. The first one is about irish civil war

There is an official video which actually features her singing on a Starlight Express set. You should have used that one. Poor choice really. Much more interesting.

That's what happens when a person makes a suggested song but no link. Think about it for 5 seconds. How would you, as a reactor, start a song knowing full well it's the version you need to watch. You can't start it and watch it and then react to another version, when you don't even know what version is the right one unless you've seen it first? Then bye bye to a genuine reaction. She has to stay away being pushed into songs like this, rather dull and a little too uninteresting, plenty of better music out there.
If you've followed her story much, you'll know that she spent 4 years doing Starlight Express in Germany. This song is a part of her story. It's not my favorite song, but her version of it is the best I have heard. Andrew Lloyd Weber himself commented on her Instagram when she was fooling around singing this song with a friend playing piano, and basically requested that she record it. When Andrew Lloyd Weber is paying attention, and you're wanting to make a career on the musical stage, it's a good idea to listen. And the simple fact that this song seems to be deeply meaningful to her is reason enough. I'm just glad to get to listen to another song. I have been listening to her BGT performances on repeat for 3 months now. :)
