I bought a motorcycle dash cam, and never got around to fully installing it. I installed the screen and never ran the wires because i was a lazy ass. So after having the screen sitting under my passenger seat for so long just rattling in there, it eventually broke itself. When i decided to FINALLY install the system, i realized the the screen was damaged and not working, rendering my dash cam useless. Completely my fault and i kick my self for never installing it in the first place! This looks like a more nicer and more rugged unit. Great video! I was really impressed by the audio and video quality of this system. I'm looking forward to more awesome videos man! Even though i don't ever put out any lol.

Great review. I am thinking about getting one of these mainly due to being able to take a photo. Does it take photos front & rear when you press the button?
yes when you take a photo it takes a photo of the front and rear at the same time this is the second camera I've installed and this one seems to be and easier interface to use
Very cool. It has a pretty clear picture compared to most dash cams I see. Waterproof is a total bonus. :)

I'm not sure I don't use the apps for the camera I just popped the SD card out and pop it into my computer.
I like it .......might look into one like this as it is very cool......... might want to mask out the speed bit though I know cops my way will do you for that.

Hi, great video. I just bought the A10 and it workes well but the apps are Chinese and do ask for alot of permissions. Besides that, I can’t get the videos to playback showing the map. Which app did you use? Thanks!
I don't use that feature I'm not sure which app to use. I normally just pop the SD card out and upload the footage to my computer
Have you been able to save the footage to your phone does this only happen if you save in the files as I've used first time this morning and the files were showing on my phone (presumably over WiFi) but when I've later checked these aren't saved in my phone or in the app?
The quality is pretty good from those cameras. can you plug in an external mic to it?

Quick question. I am looking at this on Amazon and it says it can be powered through a battery bank. Have you tried this and if so does it work well? I'm considering getting this to put on my trek e-bike for insurence purposes when riding on the road
The wires have mini fuses on them that plug directly into the fuse box so as long as the voltage is right you should be fine
In Germany it's sold as "Rollei M1 Dashcam"
Some manufacturers change the name for other cancers I don't know why they do this

Nice video thank you. On screen display information from the from camera (where it shows the date , time and coordinates). has a typo. It shows ALT for latitude instead of LAT. Quality check guy was a little sloppy I guess.

Audio on yours is so much better than mine, I have the same set up but the sound is awful. Do you happen to know where the mic is on these ?
It's on the controller button I placed mine behind the fairing to cut down on the wind noise
Most recent so thought I'd ask just fitted this system on my bike put SD card in it was showing up on my phone when tested but I don't have these files saved in my phone when I later checked. Shouldn't they just save automatically into a file on my photo reel or am I missing something 🤔 Any advice would be appreciated TIA
Hi ive just received this set up under the YDI brand, its not fitted yet, only done a dry run, all seems to work, do you know if you can switch the hud off the main unit whilst its in use, i know you switch say the mph being embedded in the recorded video, the main screen just looks a bit cluttered on first inspection, i'd rather just have the cam view or combination of the two, i trawled the web but theres next to nothing other than buying the unit, thanks.
Yes you can turn everything off in the settings

Hi, I bought the same one and wanted to ask you a practical question.. When I slot the Micro SD card in and it clicks, I am not able to close the plastic cover as the card sticks out... When you put the SD card in are you able to close it's protection ? Thank you
i had no problems with it closing. is the card seated all the way in?

Hi just a quiick question.
I just recieved this camera today. I was told by seller that it had motion sensor (parking mode) so if bike is parked and someone touches it it should record. But I dont see any option in the settings menu.
Could someone confirm if yours has this option in menu or if it indeed has this option at all? In instructions that I recieved it states that by default motion option is set to off in settings, but I dont find that option in the settings menu.

If you have the power hooked up to the ignition when you shut off the ignition it shuts off the camera

Im having trouble converting it to km/h can't find any option in the settings that allows it to be changed. Look in the manual it lists "speed unit convertion". But can't find it on the device

So just my personal input, I prefer the narrative to your videos. Often with UA-cam videos the host wants to film themselves talking (with a bunch of weird edits) like an interview or something. I assume it takes extra time to go back and narrate the video and I thank you.

The picture and sound quality is great. There is no noise from the wind ... is this real ... WonVon A10 or Blueskysea DV988?
There is no wind noise because of where I mounted the microphone behind the windscreen. The a10 and the dv988 are both really good units. The a-10 is a little bit more compact. The dv988 has a bigger screen. It would depend on which bike you want to put it on in my personal opinion. I would go with the a10 for sport bikes and smaller and the dv988 for bigger adventure bikes and baggers

I have a question, is the GPS used to track your vehicle in case of theft?
No the GPS only tracks where are you have been you have to connect to the unit in order to see where the location is
How easy is it to read license plates with the footage from this camera?
Depends on how close you are to the car it's not going to read a license plate super far away but the camera quality is decent enough to read license plates at a closer distance
Does the GPS function require a subscription and if so, how does one go about doing so?
No subscription for the GPS. Its just tracks your speed

I think so. Runs out of power when motorcycle is off. As far as I know it doesn't have its own energy. Thanks for your answer.
I have an electric bike which run on LG battery cells. I wonder if this dash cam will consume too much of my battery power at a large rate. Unless normal bikes, my electric bicycle does not come with a stator.
I don't know how much power it would use I know it will work with 12 volts though should last you a while. Only one way to really find out

@@sreeraj1980 it's most likely a volt volt issue you're either getting above or below the threshold for the camera
@@FullThrottleJunkie I am not sure if that is what is it. In your video, I notice it is blinking too. One guy I spoke with told me this :What happens is that it has an internal battery that when you cut the power it needs to save the last video files it recorded. That indicator refers to that you are charging that backup battery for last camera tasks.

Bought and right off errors in software. Some were corrected but others not. Randomly failed to record sometimes leaving "gaps" of a few minutes. Plastic clamp broke. SD card slot broke and unit returned for repair as ws less than 3 months old. Returned some 6 months later wrapped up perfect and NO REPAIRS COMPLETED. Won von stinks in my opinion.

I think the image is rather well it's not meant to be an action camera is there for safety. And it's a lot better than some of the dash cams out there on the market that I have seen
