It has so much potential for old people and for reduced mobility people. Personally I wouldn't trade a shower for it, but can see the enormous potential
A few questions, please: 1. Does it wash one's head, face, and hair, too? 2. Fifteen minutes seems like a lot of time for an automated machine that engulfs one's entire body. Does it have an express mode? 3. Are there cameras involved and does it connect to the internet? I think we've all had enough of privacy violating technology!
@vulpo great questions. It's still only 70% done so I imagine things will change. We'll get a better look at it at the Osaka Expo next year. I'd like to think there aren't cameras in what is essentially a bath, that would be odd. I imagine in order to play the video content on the screen there might need to be some sort of interent connection and for the hair, head and face I'm not 100% sure. Might be hard to do that without risk of drowning unless it just sprays your head with water.
There would be major energy benefits with a concept like this. It always felt like such a waste to just dump potentially hundreds of liters of hot water down the drain.
I love this concept! Sometimes I just am not in the mood to shower. I do it anyway, but would rather have this option for lazy times lol. Great video, you deserve many subscribers!
Japan innovates the bathroom yet again. Very nice. It seems to be a claustrophia attack in the shape of a furniture though. I like how it seems to be self-contained, like a normal washing machine
this seems more like a personal spa rather than a bathtub, and 15 min cycle? Showers take less than 5 minutes, the rest of the time is just for pleasure.
Great video! Super interesting concept. Excited to see how the expo will go in 2025. Also, an easy decision to subscribe to this page. Look forward to the next video.

Definitely. Would be life changing in places like old folks homes and hospitals i think.
@@TheTechShed1 i would
I've always felt that bathing should be fully automated, ngl.
My wife takes an hour to shower, even if she's not washing her hair. This would be great for her
15 minutes. How good would it be!

Thanks!
This sounds like a last minute project me and my classmates cook up to sell to our teacher.
And then the teacher loves it!

@zano187 yeah definitely. That's what they're going for though.
Can't wait to read the first case of boiled alive caused by these! Cool concepts that I'm sure is a net positive in the end though.
Hahaha automatically sets perfect temperature to boiling.
@@TheTechShed1 I also just thought of the idea that these technically may qualify as gas chambers🤣🤣
Fantastic thing. Would save space too
Looks about the size of a bathtub as well. Wonder how well it dries you though....
Yeah, dont think it will dry you well. They just need to make a pretty cheap model that just pours water inside without all those bells and whistles

This seems highly expensive.
@Yipper64 yeah I'd say so. Osaka Expo 2025. Hopefully we get a price.
the name Usoyaro says everything
Sounds like a carwash for humans
Does it clean between .... the cheeks?
Great question. It's one I'm hesitant to look into haha.
