I tried Aunt Ruby's German Green last year. I had to sit down when I tried it lol. I love it so much. This is the one of 3 coming back into my garden this year (long with Pink Berkeley Tie Die and Prairie Fire)
My family and I enjoyed the pink Berkeley tie dye so much last year and it produced so well here in Central Texas that we will be growing it again. I’m going to have to try the dwarf breeds.Im also growing Aunt Rubys German green. I got some really big tomatoes from that plant and they tasted great. I experimented last year, but this year I need to do some canning to replenish my supply so I’m concentrating on Amish paste and Opalka paste tomatoes along with Celebrity, Big Beef, and Jolene ( this one is new to me). All those seem to do well in my area Zone 8A in Central Texas. Wishing you the best of luck. I’ll be watching your progress.
Thank you so much!!!! Oh, that sounds like a great line up. I've been wanting to do the Amish paste but I'm waiting until we get into our space! Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have great tomato harvests!
Lots of really cool types to get excited about. The Black Beauty is an amazing tomato and our best of last season. It does have a bit different flavor some don't enjoy as much as the typical flavor but we love it. Really sweet and deep. Almost berry tomato-like. Going to be a hopeful and unique grow season. Thanks for the share!

I see someone has the Gardening bug already this year. Good luck with your garden in 2024

That's exciting to hear about Black Beauty. I'm looking forward to trying it. Thank you for watching, UT. Hope you're all doing well.
The bumblebee series was also bred by My good friend Fred Hemple who passed away last year. He will be missed.
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. 🙏 well I'll be keeping his memory alive as I grow these this year. 🍅
I LOVE the bumblebee tomatoes! Will always plant them.
