Just getting my channel started, I'm a 71 year old disabled male, just got a new mobility scooter so I can finally get to the water after having to take the city bus to one spot to fish in a wheelchair., love your channel Dude!
Thanx 4 da cool and informative video. Keep it up. God bless.
This has been a great bank fishing video, the gentleman doing the fishing is a good presenter.
Glad you enjoyed it
Agreed!
Dude has the best fishing spot in UA-cam catfish history.
Late Texoma is def one of the best catfishing spots. I can't WAIT to get out there.
You're so right, there is nothing like catfishing from the bank, just so relaxing.
Not only I like your fishing tutorials, but I love the way you express yourself about our creator, I can tell you are a very humble man, please keep uploading more videos. I’m a disabled person but I got to great friends that whenever they off from work take to fishing with them, and more than anything I thank GOD for His mercy on me.!! God bless you sir.
This fella needs to do more vids like this.
We certainly agree!!
One of the best fishing tip shows I've seen. Really.
Thanks Charles, thanks for watching!
Thank you for posting this video it reminds me of catfishing with my dad as a kid. Dad is gone passed away but those precious memory's of chicken livers & nightcrawlers catfishing with dad will last a long time. Good luck they make good eatn'.
Thanks for watching. We are glad this sparked some good memories, as that's what it's about!
fixing the car and fishing are two of my most fav things to do. i just cannot believe u got to do both at the same time. lol
My is hunting and fishing
Thank you for the video. That was a good video. I lived in Sallisaw, Ok. for 5 years back in the 90's and fished Kerr Lake and tailrace below Kerr dam for cats and normally always had good luck. Oklahoma has some of the best fishing in the nation and good folks too. Think I'll move back there when I retire in a few years.
My favorite lake in all of North Texas. Great video David.
I live in the Bayarea we have some of the best fishing in the California Delta. We got the bay the ocean and the lakes. I will try to go out this weekend and catch some catfish and striped bass. Thanks for this beautiful show
Awesome video. Just ordered a 9 foot rod and Penn Battle 2 6000 reel. This video is just what I needed to see. I want to do some bank fishing at some large nearby lakes. Very informative.
Peaceful just watching you bro great video, thanks
Thank you. I am a bank fisherman. Your video was very enlightening
THIS video and David Banta is what originally got me interested in trying catfishing! I've been trying different spots in NE Oklahoma every weekend for the last couple months and am having a blast. Thank you for such a great, informative video!
still fishing? were you able to catch some catfish? if so, which lake has been most successful?
David, you need to do more of these. I need to learn how to fish again! The city has corrupted me.
Your friend, Mark Z.

I use this same technique to fish a large reservoir. 11 ft. surf rod but I use an Okuma 550 bait-runner reel. Works like a charm with circle hooks. All I have to do is flip a lever and the fish hooks himself. Great video by the way. You sir have a great job!
what surf rod can you recommend for my first? Not necessarily low end. Thanks
@@anonymous_friend Do you want to use a casting our spinning reel?
@@kiteman357 I’d like to use open face spinning?
Grew up in the Texoma area, getting back into fishing, so nice to come across an okie channel to learn catfishing 🐮🖤🎣
Dudes got it all figured out.
great bank fishing video do more of those cause there are a lot of bank fisherman out there
Greetings from Pennsylvania. This is one of the finest catfishing videos I have seen...informative and entertaining. Keep up the great work! God Bless.
Spin & Fly Guy lol

Doyle, meet David Banta. Thanks for watching again and again..
One of the best catfish videos on the net! Plenty of helpful info, including how to change a tire. LOL. Seriously, I fully enjoyed the whole thing. Looked like a great day at the lake. Congratulations on a nice string.
Best catfish video I've watched. appreciate it bud.
Awesome video, I brought the lesson gained growing up fishing Oklahoma back here to Indiana!! I sure made an impression here over the years!
I love the video because this is the exact way we fish catching 15-20 blue cats on eufaula lake all the time great informative video love it
Excellent video, I've been away for a while and your video inspired me to get back out there and battle some cats. Bless you
Dude, you are the man. Just discovered this video, and you are probably long gone by now...but I needed to tip my hat your way regardless. Fishing for a decent meal while having a good time on the water taboot. Cheers from Kansas!
Y’all every go out and fish a lot all day or all night and reel in several reels and get home and you’re feeling hand is tingling and feels funny 😂😂
David Banta is a great guy!
I like to use circle hooks, cats hook themselves. A bank bait slinger now since had to sell my boat. 85, family scared I may fall over. Love cats. Used to go 3 days a week fishing after retiring, now once a week. Fla . 🐻😍😍😍
easy to watch and listen to, very informative
great video. I'll be fishing tomorrow night and will be using some of your tips and pointers.
What an awesome teacher you are! Cute too!! I'd go catfishing with you any day! Thanks for great video
best fishn show i have ever seen.
I'm 50 yrs old and been fishing off the bank sence I was knee high to a grasshopper lol. The biggest blu catfish I ever caught was 57 lbs. But just this past weekend I had something take my pole out of its holder drug it through high grass and through brush and it went so fast I couldn't catch it
Oh ya always hate to miss the big ones. Me and some buddies were out catfishing on kayaks and my canoes and one of my friends in a kayak got flipped over by something huge taking the bait and he lost the rod too!
@@andys4971 Time to invest into a baitcaster with a clicker
What a well put together video, you've got a voice fit for radio. Me and the fellas have been catfishing these past few weeks, a few bites every hour, but not hookups. I am going to try smaller baits, and also recasting more often.
Glad I found your channel. You sir are a "Laid-Back Badass".
very nice video. simple and informative. much appreciated
You’re easy to watch man makes me feel like I’m out there sitting right next to you.
David Banta that would be cool! I stay in Dallas
Broke back mountain lol
What an awesome video. Thank you for opportunity to watch you catch some good fish, from one bank fisherman to another.
I usually walk the North Canadian river & fish the catfish that are in the deep pools that theyre stuck in when the water. Amazing fishing.
Great video sir keep up the good work my friend .

Love to come fishing up there. I live in Arlington Texas that’s a beautiful lake
Awsome. Makes me want to go right now. You know what ? I'm going to put my phone down and go rite now. 😀👍
Same here, gonna go pack up the rods and go today
I'd love to be at your fish fry, you're a class act! God Bless You
I've done all my fishing in Oklahoma. Mostly on the Washita. Kinda wishing I was still there right now.
Breath job👍I just started fishing cats with my hubby an its an addiction
Very informative video. Thank you
Yup, cut bait. If I catch a carp, it gets filleted and cut into strips. I've caught 4 cats on the same bait. I use treble hooks though
Awesome video. Thanks for the tips.. and thanks for sharing.
Cool video, made me want to catch some cats for deep fry here in SoCal.
I live in Austin Texas. Yeah I'm a Longhorns fan LOL anyway love you video and I have heard of Lake Texoma it is an awesome Lake big catfish. Nice video my friend good luck to the Sooners this year
@David Banta fantastic I love OSU. Good school
Nice video, I enjoyed watching it.
Really like the way you do your videos . Laid-back , and informative . Not alot of hype ad equip promotion . Really enjoyed it . I hopeyou keep them coming . God Bless ...
U have the best teels, and 11 ft. Rods, all u need is a yamagatsu circle hook so u don't have to set the hook,it does it all on it's own. Great info. For cats, thanks.
Nice video...good succinct explanations...thank you!
Don't know how I found your channel but sure glad I did . Cool video . Love bankfishing. Subscribed anyway .
Great video i enjoy em like these, just someone fishing an not tryn to advertise stuff an sell people stuff
Great video! Learned something new 👍
Good video nicely made you caught some nice fish there I like the striper for a little bonus reminds me of surf fishing you got the classic surf pole sweeping Hookset
Pro tip, if you live in an area where there are residential Retention ponds, try for catfish in there cause there’s some monsters. Me and my friends fished one for just a few hours and reeled in 5 7-8 pounders and I got the big one of the day at 10.53. Maybe not 40-50lbers in there but that 7-10 mark is still tons of fun
Grate video help alot keep them comeing
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Great vlog my friend..🇺🇸🎣👊
Great video!
Nice video. Looks like a awesome spot
great video , learned a thing or two
great video, very informative
Seriously nice peaceful place for fishing there .... I wish there was somewhere nice like that around here where I'm at ... hmmmm think I'm going to go hit a few places in a minute though
TYVM for sharing!
(A SUBSCRIBER FROM PONCA CITY OKLAHOMA!) I really enjoy your videos!!!
yay! My birthplace.
Loved your video. Here in Ontario Canada we are only allowed one rod when bank fishing. Such a stupid rule. We have a limit so I don't see why we are curtailed to one rod. Very frustrating.
I live in Ontario and it's because dickheads set up 8 rods and kill the fish population
Well actually in Oklahoma the limit is 2 rods. He is breaking the law in this video.
Great Video and great advice!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really enjoyed watching!! :)
Awesome Video My Friend
My Best Bait For Big Blue Catfish Is Cut EEL
Personally I think any boat without bells and whistles would be okay too. You think? Any ways living in an apartment with no parking a boat is hard life, so I'll have to bank fish anywhere in Kentucky, Rivers, Lakes, Creeks, and yes by permission Ponds. God Bless and hope you get fishin some.
Nice catch brother
great video , I learned alot
love to eat catfish.. thanks for sharing..
Great video.
Love your Video
Very good video
Thanks Mark, glad you enjoyed the video!
Awesome video brother!
i love your videos man do more
great video you inspired me
Another one of your greatest video keep them up. Is there any way you can do that same fishing knot just with another color cause it was hard to see instead of using the clear fishing line it was hard to follow.
Just watched and thought ," Dude , you missed a good chance at a tire changing tutorial.".
seeing this video makes me want to move to Oklahoma
Nice video
Your choice of location for time of year is spot on, but it looks as though your using a spinning rod with bait casting reels, I’ve never seen guides that big on a bait casting rod before
Nice video.. Great fishing bozzku.. I like it.. Thanks
I really like those rod holders , can you post a video about them ?
Hey Bro. What brand or name of the surf rods you are using...I like long rods like that
