I thought this was fake when I first saw it. He looks completely different, and I don’t mean like healthier. I mean he looks like a legit different person
As a Dolphins fan I share this concern. Half of the fan base was screaming that The was too far and couldn't make plays with his legs last year. So, we'll see how it goes... Tua more than any QB I can remember gets the goal posts moved every off-season.
Did u not hear what they were talking about? It’s more the fact that he literally didn’t know *how* to fall. Pretty much all of his injuries two years ago came from his neck snapping back and hitting off the turf like whiplash. That was the whole point of the jujitsu so he could roll out of that stuff and strengthen his muscles to help avoid that. If he slims down it’s not like he’s gonna magically lose that technique.
Specifically Tuas focus last year was to get stronger, not just get bigger. In the process of getting stronger quickly, he put on a lot of weight which isnt a surprise. Now he is sheading the fat and keeping the muscle. This isnt even a theory, its literally what Tua and Mike said happened and what the goal was. And you cant ignore the progress he made in technique when it comes to falling being big contributor to his decreased injury rate. On a side note, can anyone actually provide data that shows more weight = less injuries? Because I would actually guess the opposite occurs because the added weight can lead to more stress on your joints.
Y’all hate it but ever since he showed he can be healthy his ceiling raised immensely. Especially him slimming down to be mobile. Bro is ready to go from good things to amazing things
So im assuming the playoff version was the unhealthy Tua? lol They will run up the score on bad teams im sure all season, they have the talent to to that I cant see any real contender being worried about Miami though
That's why I always laugh when people say QBs are the best football players on the team. Its almost never the case. You're telling me kyler murray is a better football player than JJ Watt? People are VERY stupid about the quarterback position.
@@GeorgeLucas1138 what is your criteria for better? Because it sounds to me like your actually meaning to say athletic, in which I and most other people would agree that QBs are not the most athletic. In terms of which position is the most difficult? QB is by far the most difficult. But its less about athleticism and more about technique and football IQ.
I don’t know why what they do on defense is ultimately the question. They got way more defensive tackles, better and more depth to backfield too. With Anthony Weaver from the ravens. Question should be the offensive line, and depth at a few specific positions
I hope Tua really shines in a contract year, would love to see him finally get back to his Alabama self and maybe take Miami far in the postseason. But I really feel like if he doesn’t have a record breaking individual season with that playoff success, that Miami may be looking to the draft for one of the top QBs. That’s just me though.

Honestly not really a fan of this it's okay to be trunky/chunk as a QB..... he isn't Lamar rushing for a thousand. It was very short lived. Def think the braids and beard were a better fit than the Jerry curls and baby face. 😂😂
tua did the reverse michael jackson
Lol what?
That's hilarious 😂
He actually looks like his younger brother
everyone forgets how tua used to scramble and be fast in college, if thats miamis plan i cant wait see even more speed 🐬🔥
Tua bulked up last season to help with the injury issue. Hopefully that doesn’t come back to bit him…
First thing I thought, this huge weight loss is not a good thing
I thought the same...

Tua on the Tone Digz Ozempic plan
Skinny Tua ? Funny, but Skinny Brady was no joke. Some twigs bend & don't break. I hope Tua's one of those.
He looks like Troy Polumalu back in High school 😅
Tua looks like Joseph Gribble now
3/4 AFC teams get way to much benefit of the doubt for accomplishing nothing these past couple of season
He looks ten years younger 😮
Unrecognizable? He shaved and grew his hair 😂
'dont need to be 60 - 70 lbs overweight just gotta learn how to fall' that gave me a good laugh. I hope they do something this year
Tua was a 5 star dual threat QB coming out of high school. Hope he goes back to being a dual threat again, or atleast try to scramble for more yards.
So he gets skinny to get ragdolled into more concussions?
Is that Netflix Tua?
I remember the days where QBs were the bigger than the average human 😂😆
