The team as a whole had to be pathetic for them to be picking that high. He got his ribs busted last year because the right tackle let an edge rusher from the Bills get an unimpeded run to the QB and land a kill shot on Tua. No one can get the job done under those conditions.

      He’s Samoan. But Hawaiian and Samoan are same racially. They’re both Polynesian. I believe the first Polynesians came from Samoa and Tonga then they voyaged along the pacific to other islands. So technically they’re all the same. They are the same ethnically but slight differences in the culture and language through the age gap of their voyage.

    He’s reading defenses better than any rookie I’ve ever seen. And his accuracy is ridiculous. He looks like a veteran out there it’s honestly amazing. Idc how good Herbert is playing rn I’m confident tua will be the best from this class. He’s doing this with hardly any weapons too, geisiki is pretty good, davante Parker is injured, and his rbs are never healthy. With all those picks Miami has they have a bright future with tua leading the way. Not to mention Flores is an amazing coach

      @Darius Williams wow, this keeps getting worse and worse. Jalen hurts wasn't a redshirt when he won his, was he? No, in fact he led the team the entire year, won an sec championship game, won a playoff game, and he started the national.championship game. The more accurate statement would have been if you swapped jalen for Tua seeing as how Tua was on the bench the entire season. For someone who clearly loves to argue you're really fucking terrible at it.

    Just imagine if Tua had started his entire Freshman season. It's true that while Jalen was the starter they only lost to Auburn in 2017, but I can't help but think if Tua was the starter the entire season they would have been undefeated. I may be wrong but I believe Saban wasn't about to bench Jalen, mainly because how he had played starting with the USCw game in '16, so Saban probably felt he owed it to Jalen. Jalen just couldn't make anything happen in the NC game vs Georgia and Saban finally pulled the trigger, we all know what happened next.
    Tua has 87 td passes and 96 if you add Tua's rushing TD's. It's hard for me to imagine how many more he would have if he started as a Freshman, assuming of course he stayed healthy. Thank you Tua! Thank you for coming half way around the world to play for Bama! Thank you for sticking with it when you knew you were the better QB. Thank you for the mature attitude you showed on and off the field.

Cause that’s all he was using no power transfer from below at all his first 2 seasons…. Mike McDaniel knew, he got him in the right track, he looks a lot more like 2023 Tua in this vid than if we compared this to his 2021 film

    • @Yaahboi52
      @Yaahboi52 5 років тому +6

      Chris Anderson think tua fits best w miami. There’s no guarantee they can land Lawrence next year & by the looks of Flores approach to this season, trying to accumulate wins despite their season being gone, I doubt they stay in the top 3 for 2021. Tua when healthy is one of the best if not best quarterbacks in the country. The good thing is he will not have to play right away, but can sit a year behind fitz, get his body and mind right, learn the system & grow in it, and when ready take over.
