In this video I show how to install a Joying Double Din head unit in my 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Freedom Edition. I originally installed the "9.7 inch double din android car stereo with changeable installation style."
This Joying Android head unit has 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. According to Joying, the operating system is Android 8.1.0, and the processor is Intel SC9853i.
The 9.7 inch screen will not fit vertically in my Jeep, so I swapped it out for the 8 inch version, which doesn't go vertical. However it is the same "guts" so the specs of the head unit are the same and the same steps can be followed for installation.

I no longer recommend Seicane based on the poor experience that I have had with the company, as shown in the video. While I no longer use Android head units, I have not had any issues with Joying or Dasaita and would have no problem recommending them.
curious what you switched to in your Jeep .. and if you still have the 10in Seicane enclosure, and dash piece I might be interested in buying it from you (if you can detach the head unit from the center part)

I am currently using the Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX and I am not sure I am going back to Android head units. I sold all of my old ones away
I planning to hook up one but not sure how the sounds quality after installing aftermarket amp and sub. Does it have output rca for it? Also would love to retain all the functionality for my car. Very curious about it though. Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance
Hey, question I didn’t hear you talk about in the video. Is the unit powering your stick speakers directly or does it go to a factory amp first?
My plan was to run RCAs into an aftermarket amp. I’m hoping that will work and should good.
I do not have a factory amp. Currently the Joying is powering aftermarket speakers I installed myself. I have an aftermarket amp and sub installed. The RCAs are run to the amp for the sub, the only issue is the RCAs are low voltage and you will need to get a line driver or crank up the gain

Hi. I know you've abandoned the android head units, but if I may ask: did you have any issues with these devices and polarized sunglasses, is the picture visible while using them?
I actually just got a Dasaita sent to me, so I might give it another shot. I don't have polarized glasses, so unfortunately I can't answer that one.

Why didn’t you use the jeep specific wiring harness from joying?
Because that only comes with the Jeep specific head unit this was a "universal" unit. Now if you happen to have an extra jeep harness it could be plugged in to this and it should work, but I didn't have an extra one
Oh ok would you happen to know what all the canbus does besides steering wheel controls?
I don't know what all it does, but I think you have to have it
where do you get your wiring harness?
Can I watch Netflix and or any online streaming app
Sometimes it depends. Netflix used to work and sometimes they block it. But then someone finds a way to get it working again

I installed a lot, probably over 10. I had the Jeep almost 5 years. I kept the Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX the longest probably. I recently traded in the Jeep on a 2018 Cadillac CT6, so now more head unit installs. However, I did have two 12s put in there that I will make a video on
