Fact about the guy who voiced Doc:
He was a TBF radiomen/gunner during WWII, and just before he was meant to be deployed with CAG-84 to the USS Bunker Hill, the pilot of his TBF had an earache resulting in the plane being grounded. Just a few days after, Bunker Hill was severely hit by 2 kamikaze strikes with one bomb vaporizing CAG-84’s pilots' ready room killing almost everyone in it. It was an earache that saved Paul’s life.
