I might be the wackiest enthusiast, but this and hagrids are my favorite one-two punch. When I went to the park a few days ago, I just went back and forth between the two. The theming and setting on hagrids is awesome, and the elements on velocicoaster are masterful. Two long, very well done rides.
I think I'm most impressed by the uptime on a new Intamin launch coaster. Great to hear that they are getting their process down - their rides are too good for that previous reputation of unreliability.
"A bouquet of raptors" might just be my new favorite sentence in the English language. Velocicoaster looks beyond incredible; after the Jurassic Park upgrades in Osaka and Hollywood, it's great to see IoA finally get theirs.
That’s so hype that you finally got to ride it! Everyone that rides it seems to have a lot to say about it- and good things too! I’m glad that people seem to be enjoying it
It’s a ride that definitely gets better the more you ride it, after my first ride i though that the top hat drop felt like Rockits drop but then i rode it in the back row, and bam it’s the best coaster in Florida. It’s a ride that universal needed and Florida needed. Rope dropping this has been the way to go the last couple times I’ve gone
While you could rope drop it and get a 2 rides before the crowds hit, I preferred to knock out rides like Hulk, Spiderman, Ripsaw Falls, Jurassic Park River Adventure, and Kong in the first half hour since Velocicoaster had a more enjoyable line and those rides were all getting 40-60 minute waits when I was there.
Oh my god! I just rode this last week in the hottest week of Florida (95+ deg heat) and man every hill felt at least good floater, and those ejector pops along with the mosasaurus roll being absolutely mental. I think this heat along with the ride being broken in made this off-ride look sluggish compared to how it was running those 3 days. I had just ridden Iron Gwazi 2 days prior to my first ride, and after my first ride on it even with it being the morning and a back row ride, I instantly felt that it was better than Iron Gwazi. Also, please TRY ROW 7!! (They had just stopped row requests for the day after our first night ride on Velocicoaster in the back row, so we were bummed when we couldn't request a front row night ride, but then It was genuinely an insane row in terms of the forces you received in that row, and the top hat provided a unique experience in that row too!) We then got back in line after that and were randomly assigned rows 8 and 9, and the difference was astounding with how much better row 7 was, leaving us wondering if Velocoaster has a magic seat, since that row 7 ride was better than either of our front row or back row rides prior! If anyone tries this "magic seat" please let me know!
@@CanobieCoaster they do stop row requests- which is of course understandable for a park with their attendance levels, however they had just stopped the row requests only 5 guests before us which broke my heart a little because we loved the coaster so much and wanted to see what a front row night ride was like but had just gotten cut off a few seconds before we could request our row! Was bummed and had heard the coaster was “only a very front or very back ride” but was pleasantly impressed and surprised by the power of row 7! It was crazy!
Thanks for the in depth review. I really enjoy your content. After my first ride in the mid day summer heat after a 75 minute wait, I was impressed. I thought it was a fun ride, and riding in the back the airtime, especially over the top hat, was incredible. Easily top 10 for me. After it rained all day I thought I wouldn’t be able to get that super hyped night ride, but I have to say the ops outdid themselves. With 25 minutes to park close, they opened the ride and managed to keep it open despite the rain. I rode in the front, and my God I was so happy I did. The out of control feeling careening through the dark in and out of the jungle combined with the rain enhanced the theming exponentially. While the elements of this ride individually are all awesome, what makes this coaster so over the top for me is the theming and relentless, out of control pacing. It may not be the best at everything it does, but it is the definition of a complete package - not a minute of this thing was wasted. I felt blessed to have experienced it twice in 25 minutes, both in the front row, and in the rain. The coaster gods definitely smiled on me today. And it is this complete package that made this my number one coaster experience of all time. Sure, you can nitpick and certainly there are rides with more forces or distinct elements, but so many of those are one-trick ponies. I have never laughed and screamed with delight so much on a ride in my life, and it is that feeling of complete out of control adrenaline fueled bliss that made me an enthusiast in the first place. I want to make a special note and say thank you to Intamin for following through on their promise to make the ride accesible in every seat for every size rider. As a gentleman who is 6’1 and 275 lbs, I barely squeeze into most coasters, and many of the restraints are restrictive and uncomfortable. This ride was not only comfortable, but had me out of my seat in so many different directions I couldn’t believe it. It’s been so long since I could just throw my arms up and enjoy the ride, without having to brace for certain spots. I felt like a kid again. Kudos to the entire design team for making such a stellar attraction!! IOA is now truly a God-Tier park.
This is now my new favorite roller coaster! (Sorry, Iron Gwazi) I was left speechless after I rode this beast today! The theming is top notch, the ride is super smooth and has couch-like trains, dispatches are rapid fast, and the launches are nuts, particularly the second one. Also, that mosasaurus roll near the end tries to chuck you out of the train and into the water (more so than Iron Gwazi’s death roll). On top of that, night rides on this thing are WILD, especially in the back row!
You said it all, Universal has done it again. What a great ride, the park needed another real thrill coaster as Hulk was the only real one. This is a great fit and what a great ride. Theming is one thing, ride experience is another, but mixing those 2 gets you the full package which is the true experience. I never thought this ride would have ejector airtime, just floater, but it does have ejector. It also has laterals, whip, positives, hangtime, and intense launches. Mix that with Universal theming and you got something unlike any other. What a fantastic experience that only Universal can do. I am glad to see how it compares to Iron Gwazi if its still going to be the best coaster in Florida and how it compares to Pantheon and Kondaa.
Sadly i didnt have the chance yet to ride this behemoth of a coaster...but...from what i saw of it so far (footages of construction, opening, onrides, off rides, and so on) was literally mindboggling. It blew me so massively away, that i plan a trip to Orlando next year, so my time on this coaster will come for sure. And i already know its gonna be one hell of an experience. I would consider this coaster even as one of the world's best.
Honestly, velocicoaster didn't give much of anything for me. No laterals, ejector, g's, literally nothing. It just kinda felt like meandering. I sat in the back car, is it better in the front?
I rode twice already on the Velocicoaster, yes completely agreed with you. Love seeing and hearing cheers and hand clapping once the train coming in to drop off and pickup guests from the queue. Everybody is happy, it is fantastic feeling boarding the launch, the 2 nd launch is insane all the way to top hat!! Awesome channel and videos . Subscribed 👍
I'll be riding this and Hagrids for the first time in late August and early September. I'll also be visiting SeaWorld Orlando for the first time. I can't wait for all these amazing new coaster credits!
Definitely on the list for next trip, it's not even negotiable lol. Can't wait. You and I seem to overall have almost identical taste, so I really can take your reviews on board and know this will be awesome.
I just rode this on Sunday Monday and Tuesday and it was absolutely Amazing. Me and my family say Velocicoaster is the best ride at Universal it dethroned Hagrid for me. My family says that Velicicoaster has everything you want from a coaster in one it has the Turns like Intamidator 305, The Speed like The Intamin Launch coasters, The Tophat like the Stratas or other launch coasters the airtime like El Toro or any RMC, The Inversions like a RMC Raptor, The launches like Hagrid but faster and the Theming. This coaster is exceptional to me is is my #3 coaster out of the coasters I have ridden just Behind El Toro and Kingda Ka. Phenomenal coaster only complaint I hate the locker system but thats normal.
I have ridden around the center during the day, and I"ve ridden front row once, and it was at night. It is a coaster I would ride every time I'm at Islands of Adventure. It is SO GOOD! For sure my #1 coaster. This has got to be the best coaster Universal ever built/prepared for
Cool review! I really want to ride Velocicoaster, but I think It'll be a long while before I do. It's good to see a coaster built that focusses on an amazing theme and a great ride. You mentioned the restraints are unrestrictive, but do they come down a little bit throughout the ride?
been on many coasters this year. kinda ka, nitro , superman ride of steel, jersey devil, bizaro, green lantern, batman coaster, big thunder mountain, space mountain, seven drwarfs, rocken rollercoaster, slinky dog coaster , Adventure everest, the hulk coaster, dominator, 75 racer, twisted timbers, anocoanda, flight of fear, and even the legenday Intimintator 305! but Velocicoster is the best rollercoaster I rode all year! best part is the inversion that turns into a drop
I absolutely loved this ride. It is my second favorite roller coaster next to El Toro. However they have to give a warning about sandals. My first ride I spent the whole ride worrying that my sandals were going to fly off my feet. I highly recommend not wearing flip-flops on this ride. I spent most of my first ride holding onto my flip-flops with my toes and missed a number of the fun theming
Thanks for the warning. I always wear my flip-flops to the parks so I can go on the water rides, but when I saw the design of this ride and remembered that Universal doesn’t let you leave your loose article by the side of the ride I chose to wear sneakers at the last minute. I wonder if they’d let you put your flip-flops in the locker and ride barefoot? Probably not but here’s hoping. Totally worth bringing a change of shoes just for this one ride.
I rode this the week of June 7. I got lucky with a short breakdown that ended just as I got there, so my wait was lees than 5 minutes through the singles line. I got 1 ride in the back row and one ride was enough. I'm 60 and approaching the end of my coaster riding career. I'm glad I didn't wait later longer because this is the most intense coaster I remember riding. Lots of ejector/lateral ejector airtime. The heartline roll was insane. If I never ride a coaster again, I'll be happy finishing my career with Velocicoaster.
Looks to be the world's best launch coaster. It's got length, duration, airtime, laterals, positives, extreme elements, and long trains. Yup, probably the world's best launch coaster.
Have you noticed the rattle and vibration on the entrance into the top hat and right before the speed hill before the mosasaurs roll? It was pretty uncomfortable for me.
Definitely my most anticipated coaster (alongside Iron Gwazi) for my Florida birthday comeback trip this summer. (My 21st birthday's on June 4th but we're planning on doing the vacation a week early) I'm really excited too considering that my last trip to Florida was in May 2013 and a TON of new rides/attractions have been added since.
Do you prefer this over Flight of Passage and Rise of the Resistance? As incredible as this looks, it’s hard for me to imagine anything topping those two in Florida.
@@CanobieCoaster Interesting! Flight of Passage is number 1 for me, followed by Rise and Hagrid's. I just barely missed this coaster's opening, I was in Orlando in mid April instead!!
i’m going to islands tomorrow and i’m not sure if i should get on it because i really don’t like airtime, but also really want to experience this coaster
I still need to ride this and hopefully if I go this December I can and I have to say that roll over the lagoon looks the most intense part of this coaster
I just missed the soft opening of this ride. I visited the park in April and they announced the opening date while I was there. It was a disappointing moment, but hopefully I will get back to ride it. I also talked with one of the operators who noticed me taking photos
Not as disappointing as being there all 4 days of passholder previews, as passholders, and being told that we can't ride at all because they need to let local people get lots of extra rides instead. That's mine and my family's story. I wish we had gone when you were there, because the park was awful during those preview days for many reasons. But you and I will get on this ride eventually.
Dueling Dragons was amazing in 2005 when it was dueling.. such a buzz.. I am still sore over this one as they were great B&M inverts. why not sell them individually rather than demolish? Or even try find a new home for both?
Unfortunately I can't ride coasters at all anymore due to a physical condition but I suppose I watch these channels to live vicariously. Before there probably would have been arguments over whether this was better than Iron Gwazi, but now when (if) it opens people will almost certainly compare it to this, and it probably won't win considering how hard Seaworld has dropped the ball with it.
I had to take a BREAK after this ride omg. It knocked me the tf out after a full day of coaster riding. I hadn't done a single smidge of research in advance so I had no idea what this coaster had in store for me AT ALL. The speeds alone were brain scrambling.
I went last month and it broke down 3 times while I was in line and I came back to try again later and it was broken down again. I waited in line for over 2 hours. It was fun though
@midlife coastercrisis not true lol kondaa is insane through the full ride, on opening day I do have to say it runned slow in the beginning but now it flies
Ehh. The new Blitzes are meh. Taron, taiga, and this Jurassic park thing are so much more mild/GP friendly than the Blitzes of old, ie: iSpeed & Mav. It’s obviously a good move for Intamin, but the old ones make these new ones look like family coasters by comparison
I just got 12 rides on this for the first time last week (wait was 5min all day). I'm probably going to be beat up for this but I was disappointed. Maybe it was the fact that the ride is more hyped than steel vengeance at this point but it just wasn't what I was expecting. The bowl part of the coaster felt slow. The launches were pretty forceless and the airtime wasn't sustained at all. I didn't even think it was very intense or had much of a speed sensation especially towards the back. I even thought it was rattly. The roll over the water was awesome and I love the theming but it was a let down. I don't even consider it a top coaster. I even prefer Hagrid and Hulk. As a disclaimer though when I visited Universal most of my rides on velocicoaster were when the train was 2/3 full as there were no single riders and I usually was the only person in the last 2 cars.
I always have had a full train and I think that's how most people experience it given the crowds this park usually sees. I agree this ride is super hyped by this point.
Kumba is still my number 1 in Florida, it's just too good. That and Mako. Although I'm still going back and forth on whether or not I like Velocicoaster more than Mako. VC is still the best in Universal though, for sure!
@@CanobieCoaster I'm in that category of people that thinks it was WAY overhyped. And I've ridden it 13 times and counting, haha. Wonderful coaster though.
Kumba is underrated. Definitely some of B&M’s best work before they started to go a little more GP-friendly. However, my only complaint with it is the rattle. I wish BG would re-track the whole thing like IOA did with Hulk, but they’d probably just tear it down at that point.
@@CanobieCoaster Do they make you put your hands up during the process? I hear your feet dangle, so my usual method of pushing up against the floor probably won't work even at my height.
There’s something I feel was a giant missed opportunity, why wasn’t it themed to Back To The Future? An Intamin launched coaster fits Back To The Future perfectly! (Especially if it had the stat of its max speed being 88 miles per hour.)
@@CanobieCoaster If Velocicoaster is the success that Universal wants, maybe they may add more Intamin Blitz coasters globally to their parks. That can open up the possibility for a Back To The Future Intamin launch coaster.
I’ve seen quite a few kids who looked to be 7 or 8 years old & barely above the minimum height requirement riding this thing. They will come off it with the satisfaction of having conquered “the scariest ride at Universal”, and the adults will be absolutely floored that such an intense coaster could be built at a park like IOA. Even many hardcore enthusiasts have it in their Top 10, and that’s saying something.
Only slightly. Velocicoaster has a better drop, while Maverick has the more intense final launch. I'm a bigger fan of drops, so that's why I only slightly prefer it to Maverick.
@@CanobieCoaster for me it had to do with some parts of the queue, like the tv screens playing on loop every 2 minutes which can get old real quick. One of them plays 30 seconds of the same clip which repeats every 2 minutes and it could get pretty annoying to be honest especially if the ride ever breaks down. As for the ride itself, I found the lapbars to be very uncomfortable (this is coming from someone who isn't big or anything), the top hat caused me to hit my head due to forceful push during the drop. Now my head was back against the head rest the whole time but for some reason going up the top hat caused my body to lunge forward a bit and by the time it got to the drop, the g-force of the coaster caused my head to get pushed back hard and hit the head rest. This caused me to get a bad headache after riding. I also felt a stomach ache after riding as well, I've never felt a stomach ache on a coaster before and it certainly didn't help me with the ride experience. Everybody loving the barrel roll over the water, for me isn't much of a big deal, it's just an inversion over the water. If people like it cause you're so close to the water then you can pretty much get this similar segment over at Hagrid's Magical Creatures and in that ride it feels so much more fun going over the water. Now I'm not saying Velocicoaster is the worst roller coaster I've been on, I like the locker system, animatronics in the queue, the launches and the zero-g stall but I find every other coaster at Universal (except for Hulk) better for many reasons.
@Jose V. I get what you mean of the heartline roll, I'm still not a fan of the sensation of dropping head first to the lagoon. Getting a whip effect on a coaster, I can easily get that in the other park with Mummy.
@Jose V. Yeah, Hagrid's is my favorite Universal coaster. Unfortunately I don't like the way Universal made it a Virtual Line system now. Now it's very rare to even do it. Hopefully it goes back to Stand By
Unfortunately, I think Universal is on track to rule the theme park industry. Disney is just not investing in thrills like this monster. RMC better be paying attention, since Intamin is making statements with this and Kondaa
@@CanobieCoaster One thing about Iron Gwazi I disliked were the restraints, they were quite awkward, and the ride itself was somewhat shorter than I'd like. Velocicoaster, on the other hand, has some of the best restraints on a coaster and is a ride with a very long length that keeps its speed and seems to just keep getting better.
I might be the wackiest enthusiast, but this and hagrids are my favorite one-two punch. When I went to the park a few days ago, I just went back and forth between the two. The theming and setting on hagrids is awesome, and the elements on velocicoaster are masterful. Two long, very well done rides.
This park really does have one of the best 1-2 punches now, even if it is unconventional.
I mean tbh velocicoaster has better details
But also both rides are the best at night especially hagrids
This is my #2 1-2 punch. The only park I think has a better one (that I’ve been to) is Kings Dominion
I’m not sure about 1-2, but I think they have good argument for top three if you add in hulk.

Nice!
So in all, there are seven ejector airtime moments?? 😳
It's an amazing ride.
Looks to be the world's best launch coaster. It's got length, duration, airtime, laterals, positives, extreme elements, and long trains. Yup, probably the world's best launch coaster.
I prefer Lightning Rod still, but Velocicoaster is up there.
Have you noticed the rattle and vibration on the entrance into the top hat and right before the speed hill before the mosasaurs roll? It was pretty uncomfortable for me.
The back car has a bit of a shimmy, but it doesn't impact my ability to enjoy the ride.
Why did i always assume Hagrids was a Zerier?
It does have a lot of similarities to Verbolten.
@@CanobieCoaster yeah the track type is the same
did you notice that while you're doing the inversions, there's epic music?
I did not.
Enjoy!
Do you prefer this over Flight of Passage and Rise of the Resistance? As incredible as this looks, it’s hard for me to imagine anything topping those two in Florida.
Yes I do. Although I prefer Rise of the Resistance and Splash Mountain to any other coaster in the state.
@@CanobieCoaster Interesting! Flight of Passage is number 1 for me, followed by Rise and Hagrid's. I just barely missed this coaster's opening, I was in Orlando in mid April instead!!
Having a CANOBIE marathon today at my desk!! CANOBIE MY MAIN MAN....
WOOOOOO
Nice!
I rode Cannibal at Lagoon in Utah last week and it may be the best ride I have ever been on. SUPER intense.
I love that ride.
Cannibal obliterates this thing
@@uncledrosselmeyer6480 For sure. The ride this is replacing was a phenomenal ride - dueling dragons. Too bad the got rid of it.
i’m going to islands tomorrow and i’m not sure if i should get on it because i really don’t like airtime, but also really want to experience this coaster
I'd give it a try. Worst case, you don't like it and don't have to ride it again.
@@CanobieCoaster true, i’ll try to get myself on it tomorrow and i’ll give an update
update: it was incredible, i’m so glad i gave this ride a try and it’s by far my favorite ride so far :)
I still need to ride this and hopefully if I go this December I can and I have to say that roll over the lagoon looks the most intense part of this coaster
The top hat, stall, dive loop, and mosasaurus roll are all insane.
This was the Best coaster on my Florida vacation. It is my current number 4 behind the duo that is Wildcat's Revenge and Skyrush.
Nice!
I am going in September, I am so freaking excited, my current #1 is ArieForce One and this definitely has a chance!
Have fun!
@@CanobieCoaster thanks! I am going for 4 days, so hoping to get at least 6-8 rides on it, more if possible!
I’m not much of a Dinosaur person but even this impresses me
Even IPs I'm not a fan of impress me when a park goes all out.
.....”not much of a ‘dinosaur person’”.......??? 🤨🤣😂😂😂😂😂 what in gods name are you talking about LOL
Absolutely agree on the rarity of combining world class theming with world class coaster. The only others I can think of are Karnan and Taron
Taron doesn't have much theming in the queue, but I agree the visuals are great on-ride. Karnan is the one that comes to mind as the closest comp.
I just missed the soft opening of this ride. I visited the park in April and they announced the opening date while I was there. It was a disappointing moment, but hopefully I will get back to ride it. I also talked with one of the operators who noticed me taking photos
I hope you can make it back for it.
I love velocicoaster I rode it 5 times the front row and the back row r the best spots on it can't wait to ride it again
That's awesome!
Dueling Dragons was amazing in 2005 when it was dueling.. such a buzz.. I am still sore over this one as they were great B&M inverts. why not sell them individually rather than demolish? Or even try find a new home for both?
I suspect Universal didn't want that layout showing up at other parks.
Honestly, I didn’t think it was THAT fast but boy was the wait worth it
Glad you enjoyed it.
Best coaster ever!!,
One of them.
I suspect Iron Gwazi may be the better coaster, but this ride still may be the better experience.
I had to take a BREAK after this ride omg. It knocked me the tf out after a full day of coaster riding. I hadn't done a single smidge of research in advance so I had no idea what this coaster had in store for me AT ALL. The speeds alone were brain scrambling.
It's fantastic.
I went last month and it broke down 3 times while I was in line and I came back to try again later and it was broken down again. I waited in line for over 2 hours. It was fun though
It's awesome.
It's hard to believe Velocicoaster opened a year ago!
I know!
This is insane, it's like taron with inversion, really curious how it compares to Kondaa
I much prefer this to Taron. The elements are way more extreme.
@@CanobieCoaster Yeah it looks more extreme + inversions, but the best LSM launch POV wise I think will be Toutatis the one coming at parc asterix
@midlife coastercrisis not true lol kondaa is insane through the full ride, on opening day I do have to say it runned slow in the beginning but now it flies
@@upsidedown_ ....why would this get compared to Kondaa...? Besides being made by the same company, they have nothing in common
Ehh. The new Blitzes are meh. Taron, taiga, and this Jurassic park thing are so much more mild/GP friendly than the Blitzes of old, ie: iSpeed & Mav. It’s obviously a good move for Intamin, but the old ones make these new ones look like family coasters by comparison
How does this man not have 100k subs yet
I'm a relatively new channel.
When I was able to go in October of 2023 I LOVED THIS RIDE I AGREE THIS IS THE BEST RIDE
It's epic.
I agree this ride is super hyped by this point.
who composed the ride through music for the ride?
Not sure.
@@CanobieCoaster look it up
Kumba is still my number 1 in Florida, it's just too good. That and Mako. Although I'm still going back and forth on whether or not I like Velocicoaster more than Mako. VC is still the best in Universal though, for sure!
I definitely prefer Velocicoaster.
I wish BG would re-track the whole thing like IOA did with Hulk, but they’d probably just tear it down at that point.
can u ride without annual pass
Yes, it's now in soft opening. The park intends to have the ride open to all park guests every day going forwards.
thank u
What do you think the thrill level of this vs Maverick or Lech Coaster?
Lech has more intense positives than either of those rides. Velocicoaster is comparable to Maverick.
Can’t wait to ride this at the end of July
Enjoy!
My #1 steel coaster until Hersheypark decides to put those restraints on Skyrush. The backseat, over that top hat, feels like a catapult.
These restraints would be heavenly on any Intamin.
@@CanobieCoaster That's exactly what I told a friend the other day.
Great review 👏
Thanks!
at the back the laterals and airtime moments arent as strong blabalbala in the back the laterals and artime moments are strong
This is a great ride.
I might be riding Velocicoaster in December, let’s hope so
Enjoy!
@@CanobieCoaster thx
Iron Gwazi has entered the room
Iron Gwazi is a bit better to me, but both are elite.
Absolutely man both are in my top 10
Do the Intamin lapbars come down at all like Mack lapbars?
They don't continuously tighten, but the staff pushes them down hard before you leave the station.
@@CanobieCoaster Do they make you put your hands up during the process? I hear your feet dangle, so my usual method of pushing up against the floor probably won't work even at my height.
@@CanobieCoaster okay, sounds better than Mack lapbars, at least based on what I've heard about them
Hey, Canobie Coaster! I have created an emblem on my Vyond account with a photo of that roller coaster!
What is Vyond?
It's a website that you can make animated videos.
I don’t get how that dive loop has airtime
Me neither, but I love it.
There’s something I feel was a giant missed opportunity, why wasn’t it themed to Back To The Future? An Intamin launched coaster fits Back To The Future perfectly! (Especially if it had the stat of its max speed being 88 miles per hour.)
That would have been great for the Studios side.
@@CanobieCoaster If Velocicoaster is the success that Universal wants, maybe they may add more Intamin Blitz coasters globally to their parks. That can open up the possibility for a Back To The Future Intamin launch coaster.
Canobie Coaster; Best new ride in Florida
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance: An I a joke to you
I love Rise of the Resistance and I like it more than most coasters. But I do prefer Velocicoaster.
Such a crowd pleaser.
Wh(oa!)en did you manage to get to this park?
Last week.
Velocicoaster didn’t replace dueling dragons the hagrids motorbike adventure did the velocicoaster replaced triceratops encounter
This replaced Dueling Dragons from a thrill perspective, but I agree it's physically in a different spot.
Looks amazing
It was!
It was Awesome
Sure is!
Been to IOA twice since this opened, down all day twice. Not sure if I have the confidence to pay for admission a third time haha
That's extremely unlucky. I haven't heard of it having much downtime except for a bad stretch 2 months ago.
The coaster looks so cool infront of the jurrasic park discovery center.
Agreed!
I only got one ride but i can confidently say i wasn’t in my seat for over half the ride 😂
Nice!
Man, some people say it is better than Maverick.
Is this true?
I think so, but I'm not as high on Maverick as others.
Only slightly. Velocicoaster has a better drop, while Maverick has the more intense final launch. I'm a bigger fan of drops, so that's why I only slightly prefer it to Maverick.
I rode the velocicoaster and I like it.
Nice!
Defently in the top 5 coasters I wanna ride
It's amazing!
Imop I think this looks like the *best* coaster in the world
It could be depending on tastes.
I predicted the score accurately!
I love theming and thrills merged together.
I'm probably the only person who thought Velocicoaster wasn't good, I think it's better then Hulk but I don't think it's one of the best at Universal
Interesting, what did you find overrated about it?
@@theskullspookychannel6343 lol most enthusiasts thought it was meh. The old gen blitzes are WAY better than the new ones
Hopefully it goes back to Stand By
If Airtime Thrills got a hold of your script, I think he would've said "yonked" so many times.
I don't really use that word myself.
10/10 for any enthusiast,like me.
I agree.
My physical therapist, Taylor Permenter, rode this
Cool!
Riding this in 2 days!!!!!!!
Enjoy!
@@CanobieCoaster and about 2 1/2 weeks after that, I go back to Florida for Iron Gwazi!!! But you tank my number one over both, ArieForce One!
@@CanobieCoaster also sorry, I realized I have basically already commented the same thing😅
Mako:the best coaster in Florida tittle used to go to me :(
Mako is still awesome.
It’s a fight between this iron gwazi and mako
I think this and Gwazi easily beat Mako.
Diffrence between hulk and velocicoaster ? i have been in hulk in 2017, but i cloudn´t ride velocicoaster because it was 2017 LMAO
Hulk's inversions pull stronger positive Gs, but I prefer pretty much everything else about Velocicoaster from a forces and storytelling perspective.
This or Batman Gotham City Escapes queue?
Tie
@@CanobieCoaster I think I would probably take Batman’s over Velocicoaster’s because I would prefer going through the bat cave and all.
Unfortunately, I think Universal is on track to rule the theme park industry. Disney is just not investing in thrills like this monster.
RMC better be paying attention, since Intamin is making statements with this and Kondaa
I don't have any issue with parks and manufacturers challenging each other to get better. Competition is good.
YES! Honestly better than Iron Gwazi...please ask.
I totally get why people prefer this to Gwazi.
