We had to remove parts of the guard to clear the weight that hangs off the diff. These guards were fitted to a 1992 discovery 1. We did not have to do any welding, but the screws that were supplied with the guard did not fit (they were not long enough) so we had to get some other ones.
Hey i read that the front diff you need to weld part of it on?? Which is something that turned me off to these guards, even though i really wanted to get them. Is this true? It didn't appear that you had to on your video, and more info on this would be great. Thanks
