Should NEVER EVER!!!! use concrete blocks or bricks to jack of or as blocks to hold weight. When the weight is on they can crack or explode and give you no warning if they are going to fail. Use axel sands or a good wooden block. With wood if they fail they normally do it slowly but most importantly they crack and creek and give you plenty of warning. Also not a good idea to use the trolley jack onto of blocks.
Hi Guys, did the Dropboxs make any difference in how the car drove and handled also did you need to do a front end aliment again or was that ok. Also would you recommend it or not?
Could someone please tell me, if a dropbox or caster correction bushes are not fitted to a GU Patrol with raised suspension, can this induce posative camber at the front end, in turn, causing outer shoulder tyre wear? Wheel alignment was recently done on new tyres. Suspension and steering check returned no damaged bushes or other components. No king pin shims fitted top or bottom. Thanks in advance, and thank you to the film producers. Really appreciate it.
Why the F would you remove the springs, Also using bricks to hold the car up is even worse, some people should be banned from posting shit to UA-cam giving people wrong ideas. Change Title to How Not To Instal Drop Boxes
all that effort and not replacing the radius arms with the improved design, bit of a waste. Radius arms plus drop boxes kit $980 dollars. Not much point in just installing the drop boxes
I wouldn't let you guys work on my sons match box cars, unbelievable

No need to remove the springs.
You blokes certainly do things the hard way lol.
Very hard working job , very nice. Jst a quick question, do these Drop Boxes fit on Nissan Patrol Y60 /GQ as well ???
Nice vid, only comment is that I think its called a Radius Arm.....not a control arm
Ahhhhh, cheers mate for the info.
Amazing! So if you do this you don't need to drop the gearbox as well? Thanks for the video!

Yes they can induce a positive camber. I have a positive camber, but still in specs, with 2 inch lift
Not one question answered...
