I’m 18 months Sisterloc’d with thin low density hair. Your videos encouraged and motivated my decision. And I love my hair freedom. My Sisterlocs have also thicken up. We have a similar hair texture and density and that's how I found your channel a while back when you first loc'd. Thanks for still providing updates and styling videos. Are you experiencing any bunching? That's what's new on the table for me at 18 months. I've got some budding and some locks are completely locked but some have bunched up due to the fine texture.
I haven’t experienced bunching, but I have experienced tangling. It’s been happening often lately. Not sure if I’m doing too much with my hair or what.
I think the hairs around the hairline just have a shorter growth cycle than most of the hair on our heads. I think that’s why even when we are loose natural or even people who have straight hair, those sections are shorter. I think that’s what caused it to thin. I have had two babies on my hairline do the same thing. I don’t do anything that would put stress on my hairline. The way that you have your hair here is literally my every day style. If I am feeling adventurous, I switch my part to the other side.
I definitely experienced frizz. I don’t really have an issue with it because it makes my hair look a little fuller, but I can calm the frizz with a setting lotion after I wash my hair. That has helped in the past

When I first got them they looked really thin, but by six months they started to thicken up. They’ll definitely get more full, you just have to trust the process.

Did you experience frizz? If so, what did you do to remedy that?
I definitely experienced frizz. I don’t really have an issue with it because it makes my hair look a little fuller, but I can calm the frizz with a setting lotion after I wash my hair. That has helped in the past

I’m nervous because my hair is then. Did it still look the same after a month - 6 months? How long did the thin areas take to fill in?
When I first got them they looked really thin, but by six months they started to thicken up. They’ll definitely get more full, you just have to trust the process.
When you say the los slipped, does that mean the hair unraveled?
