I felt the most satisfaction from Jordan Cross. The way he begs for his life, looking for excuses why he killed his girlfriend and 47 is just "Contract is a contract" But the Caruso was the most heartbreaking for sure. I felt really bad killing him, but this video even made it worse
Hitman at it's core, certainly for the world of assassination trilogy is an elaborate murder simulator. The content and detail put into it is immense, you wanna be clean, efficent and unseen we got challenges and ways you can do that...you wanna hear your targets beg? Oh we have that too. You decide how you wanna do this, and the game gives you responses and consequences. I must admit a lot of this is morbidly hilarious and we do get justified sadism because your targets by and large are horrible people (Caruso did make me feel bad because I know the lore and damn) but also gives us a very realistic look at what untouchable people do when they realise they're staring down the barrel of a gun. Like in metal gear solid you could hold up the enemy soldiers and you either got them scared or defiant, they're troopers so this is normal...here we get a range of professions and evil and yet when faced with the reaper with no chance to fight or win...they beg.

Well to be fair, a number of them - Francesca, Zaydan, Cross & his lawyer, and the Colorado Freedom Fighters - seemed to be unwitting pawns in the larger game of Providence and the Shadow Client.
Francesca was literally making a murder virus, Zaydan was going to overthrow the government, Cross killed his girlfriend, and Morgan got a teenage girl who murdered a homeless man acquitted. I guess the least bad of them are the Freedom Fighters, by virtue of not really being much worse than 47 in how they operate against Providence.
