- In today’s video, we’re doing a Spec Check on this incredible 2024 BMW Alpina XB7! This XB7 is finished in Alpina Blue Metallic over Ivory White With Atlas Gray Full Merino Leather. It is shown wearing the 23” Alpina Classic wheels. The XB7 features BMW’s S68 twin-turbo V8 paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to all four wheels. We’re showcasing this particular XB7 because it is spec’d perfectly! Alpina Blue is the color to have on one of these, and the same desirability applies to wheels: is it really an Alpina without oversized, multi-spoke wheels? Inside and out, this Alpina checks every box - literally. Every option available is equipped here: tow hitch, captains chairs, Shadowline Package, Bowers and Wilkins, and an Alcantara headliner are all present.
The price and options break down is shown below:
Base price: $149,400
Individual Ivory White/Atlas Grey Full Merino Leather (+$1,500)
Trailer Hitch (+$550)
Second Row Captain’s Chairs (+$850)
Bowers and Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System (+$3,400)
Destination (+$995)
Total price as tested: $156,695

Thank You Almighty God for blessing me I will buy one for myself
The ground effects kit really makes this SAV look sporty. Very nice!
Agreed! The Alpina bodywork really makes a huge positive impact, it looks great all around!
Do you know when the X4 will get the interior refresh that all models are going through? My 2022 X4 M40i is a LCI and I hope they bring back the gear selector because the switch doesn't give you a place to rest your hand while driving
It will! Eventually... The X3/X4 isn't due for a refresh quite yet, but when it gets on in a couple of years, it will get this new screen and probably the gear selector too. I do miss the hand rest, but I've found the side of the console works almost just as well :)
Not bad! 🤩
Thanks!
How long do those 23s last and how much do they cost to replace? 😅
Well, assuming you can avoid potholes, they'll last as long as the tires have tread on them. But, being so low profile, they are sensitive to potholes so drivers and owners must be careful otherwise they'll be replacing often. No idea how much the wheels would cost to replace if damage couldn't be repaired (which it can be in most cases), but assume it's a pretty penny.
great car. I just wish it could come in the darker green alpina color, is it possible to still get that?
Alpina Green is not currently available on the builder unfortunately. Hopefully it comes back soon!
Where do I find the key to the center cap?
Very nice, but I think I would rather the the kick to open tailgate than the trailer hitch. It is my understanding you can't get both.
Your understanding is correct. That's a fair preference, and I'd agree! But for those that tow often, it's an easy trade off.
@@bmwofmorristown9038 Thanks for the reply. Is a spare tire available for the Alpina like it is for the other trims? Thanks.
Estoril is pronounced "Es-tor-EEL". It's a fancy town in Portugal with a racetrack.
Also, the ALPINA myrtle wood trim should have ordered on this truck.
I've debated at length with many people about how to pronounce Estoril... it's been inconclusive to say the least. I do love the wood trim, I think that would've been a nice touch but I like the current spec just as well!
@bmwofmorristown9038 It's ES-TOR-EEL. No debate about it.
I'm getting this in Black in March
Awesome!
How are you liking it?
He didn’t get it
Is this car still available?
This one is not, but we have another XB7 in stock right now that is available. Reach out to us on Instagram via DM if you're interested! @bmwofmorristown
Unfortunately, the climate menu sucks. I prefer analog control buttons.
It takes some getting used to, but once your acclimated to the new controls, it all works really well!
Why is the hood ornament BMW, not Alpina?
The newer Alpinas come with BMW roundels rather than Alpina ones. Not entirely sure why, but that's how it is!
@@bmwofmorristown9038 Seems to blur the brand distinctions and indeed dilute the Alpina brand.
Praktikal and best cars
Quentin Tarantino!!!
So I guess the Alpina Green Metallic color that’s been shown on UA-cam is custom… Bummer. But the blue is nice 💙
It used to be available standard but it's no longer on the standard order guide. It may come back soon, hope so! It's an awesome color!
Gorgeous car but his voice gives me a headache :-))
