- In today’s video, we’re doing a walk around and overview with the 2023 BMW Alpina XB7! This Alpina XB7 is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over Individual Ivory White/Atlas Grey Full Merino Leather. It is shown wearing 21” Alpina Dynamic Wheels, style D20. The XB7 features BMW’s new S68 twin-turbo 4.4L V8 paired to a reinforced 8-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to all four wheels. The XB7 produces 630 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. This is enough to propel the XB7 to 60mph in just 3.9 seconds!

A truly amazing work of art. I was fortunate to live in Germany back in the late 80's and drove on the pristine autobahn highways. Driving at over 150 mph was great. I would only drive at those speeds in an European vehicle and driving this monster would have been great..........

I like the full shifter in the XB7 versus the tiny little lever in the M60i
Definitely interesting that Alpina decided to stick to the old shifter style. While I like both styles, this is a nice way that the XB7 further differentiates it from regular X7 models.

The 23's are quite nice, but these 21's are much more practical for New Jersey roads.

Us too! It's an awesome car... tons of presence, power, good looks etc. No Alpina version of the G70 unfortunately, and currently no performance oriented versions planned.

Agreed, truly stunning! The XB7 does not come with a spare tire.
Is there a way to hide the third row seat belts when the seats are folded? They seem a bit in the way
There isn't but they really don't get in the way.
Is this car still available to buy?
I have a X7 40i coming off the assembly line now. although this is fabulous I'm sure I'll be pretty happy with my choice, especially since it's $50K less.

I have a 40i and it has never felt underpowered for that type of vehicle. The B58 is so smooth!

This is straight from the BMW press release for the new 2023 XB7:
"The state-of-art BMW engine technology is augmented by an ALPINA-specific engine management system and performance cooling system consisting of an enlarged and optimized main engine cooler with integrated transmission cooler, external engine oil and water coolers, and a low-temperature cooling circuit (air/water/air) for the ALPINA-specific intercooling system. Cross-sectioned optimized coolant hoses ensure maximum throughput."
