I got the Yeti GX on clearance and it’s a great little USB dynamic mic. The plastic build quality keeps down weight so you can use it on a cheap boom arm and avoid sag.
I say the Shure MV7x as long as you're mindful with positioning to avoid plosives. I like the detail even better than the Q2U. Using the SM7B's pop filter on it helps a little as well.
all they had to do was change the yetis mico usb to usb-c and it would have been perfect but instead they completely resigned it with a usb c and made it like 50 dollers more
i think he means that the microphone stand caves outward instead of inward in the picture/video, i.e switch the microphones positions with eachother. Great review btw, im happy they made a smallfactor microphone of this. The old Yeti look is better however.
Off topic but what’s better for fps games and footsteps the cloud 2s or the Astro a40s I have cloud 2s and I love how great they are but I’m just wondering if it’s worth it to get the a40s great videos btw
@@BadIntentStreamTechReviews thanks bro appreciate the respond I’ll just stick with the cloud 2s since I don’t have a pc to eq the A40s appreciate the respond

Even though I didn't understand half of the technical terms, I really enjoyed and appreciated the review.
Great comparison! what would be a step up recommendation from Samson Q2U given that I already have Wave XLR and won't need usb → XLR upgrade path

yup pretty much upgraded to gx and I was sold simply due to usb c. non one even carries mini usb outdated 10 plus years ago
Isn't the Yeti GX made out of metal? pls correct me if im wrong but it is metal build right?
GX is plastic, Blue Yeti is metal.
This was SO incredibly helpful for me. I was thinking of "upgrading" to the Yeti GX, but...IDK. I don't really see the reason for it at the moment.
Surely dynamic over condensed tho?
Is it a blue yeti or a yeti X? If so please make a comparison between Gx And X
It yeti
You installed the yeti gx "wrong", its infuriating 😢
What do you mean?
@@BadIntentStreamTechReviews the mic (gx) is on the wrong side
@@jemikamui989 What do you mean the wrong side? It's a top address mic so the dynamic capsule has maximum sensitivity from the top.
@@BadIntentStreamTechReviews Yea what is he talking about? Nice review my man. Ima get the Logitech.

Is bass less pronounced on Yeti GX ? I prefer the bass when talking.

Cloud II imo. I've played with both and the A40 are really good, but you have to do a lot of EQ work to make footsteps stand out.

Does they both work with iphone ?
💀
Which mike will be good for online classes for sound bowls.
I'd go with the Yeti GX since it picks up less background noise.
