Im sorry, the fact that he gets to nergigante in bone armor ON A FIRST PLAY is made impressive
In fucking LOW RANK bone armor no less!
Did the same thing with odogaron armor set and is still doing the same thing even after fighting velkhana
I dunno I think Nergigante is one of the easiest fights in the game. I first tried it only getting hit once by its dive bomb attack and dying -_- I think Nergigante's attacks are just easily telegraphed and its hit boxes are actually in line with its movements.
@@thenerdbeast7375 WITH HALF HEALTH
@Logicalleaping Same he also has really really easy to read telegraphs.
*"Being The Final Boss Doesn't Mean You're Immune To Brain Damage!"*
My man, you are a TRUE Hammer Bro ♥
As a Hammer enjoyer myself I applaud your fine taste. Other chadly weapons include the Sword and Shield, Greatsword, and Switch Axe- Highly recommend each of those. If you want something that'll really test you and probably make your hands hurt from the inputs, Charge Blade is incredibly satisfying when you get the hang of it.
Oh and, don't ever become a Longsword main if you can help it. Only villains do that.
Longsword mains rise up! Just leave me to the tail and don't get in my way. Plus I've been launched by hammers more times than I've been tripped by anything else in this game.
Try switch axe and absolutely feel like a feral person
I love having 5 attacks
but its has quite a steep learning curve
Play insect glaive and never touch the ground again
Bro completed the game in low rank bone armour
I thought doing the base game in low rank Odogaron armor was pretty crazy, but I've been dethroned.
@@pcport2698 Lol you guys need armour? /jk
Did the same thing and is still doing the same thing after velkhana just with odogaron armor set
Nice!, you finished the tutorial!
😭
There's only like 5 tutorials left!
Iceborne
If you think Teostra doesn’t look like a dragon, then wait until you see Kirin.
ah, yes. a fitting addition alongside fatalis and lao-shan since the first game.
Just to clarify elder dragons are a kind of wastebin term that refers to any monster that defies normal catagorization and has massive potential for destruction
This mf got to nergi in low rank bone??? Insanity, impressive, but insane
Did you go the whole base game not meeting the wild felyne tribes?
They gove your palico new gadgets and the ability to befriend some small monters
wat?
youre telling me that I couldve made my palico do something else other than heal?!
I like my cat doing bombardment
@@maowf Yes, every region has a palico tribe that you have to do certain quests for. Talk to Lynian Researcher for more info. Trust me, you'll thank yourself if you do it before IB!
Does he know you can use other armor sets? With good defense?
he completed the game with lr bone so i dont think he needs it
This man does NOT need any other armor set (apparently)
There is nothing more scarier than hearing a bazelgeuse roar followed by an explosion
Hammers with ledges and inclines. Name a more iconic duo. I'll wait.
@@alainbcdefghijk maybe greatsword same ledge
Dual blades with ledges and inclines are a close contender, spineripper goes brrrrr
GS and Missing TCS, theres nothing more iconic than that
Wouldn't that be a trio?
How does this man have such a low amount of subs???? He’s entertaining and makes good quality vids
12:24, nah bruh, how many times did u redo this boss to realize how to counter this move? That ain’t just a “learn it the first time” move
Yeah, and he's doing a lot of other things that newbie players never would, like the hammer ledge jump tech and the max charge last hit on wakeup, and knowing where every slide is to spam the rolling smash
He somehow noticed that nerg's spikes turn black too, on his first hunt
And he's killing everything first try in low rank bone armor? I do feel like he's an experienced player just pretending to be new for views
16:40 yeah nah he also perfectly timed the dive on the teostra nova on his first time seeing it, lol
I'm glad you enjoyed mhw. If you didnt do any optional quests, I recommend looking through and doing the ones that have a chat symbol next to them. Some when completed may give a reward like a health booster or smth like a fireproof/dragonproof mantle that can be equipped. There is also a quest crossover with The Witcher and a separate one with FFXIV that you may like!
as part of the proud 2 percenters. you should play the musical cousin of hammer, the hunting horn. its basically just hammer that trades damage for range, but also gets a little technical with buffs that increase your strength for a period of time. plus its a giant drum/guitar/horn/bell, who doesnt like to swing big silly objects?
Sword n Shield,Switch Axe,Insect Glaive is interesting choices
Okay, now the main story is beat, now you get to do the other half of the game...
With that armor, bro is basically playing dark souls
Note that whenever you're charging your hammer or releasing an attack after any charge, you're resistant to flinching, unless you're actively moving while charging.
Also, when you enter your Power Charge state, you can hold for 3 clicks just as the usual charge; and depending on whether you're moving or not, can release 2 different attacks: the Brutal Bang while still, the Spinning Bludgeon while moving.
Big Bang is pretty good, but sometimes you can mix up between punishes. Brutal Bang can be done while a monster is knocked, and followed up with a clutch claw attack, which grapples to the closest monster part. After that you can follow up with a tenderize (triangle), and weaken a part if it isn't. With the right build, you can take advantage of a monster's KO threshold at the beginning of the quest to get back-to-back knockouts with just this punish alone.
Also, the Golf Swing is a good way to get closer to the monster if you're a bit too far to commit to a full punish, especially when the monster is in the exhausted state (when it's drooling, and stun locked). You can access the Golf swing in both normal and Power Charge by holding & releasing on the 2nd click of the charge for quick damage, which funnily enough can be followed up by another grapple attack either on whiff or just for additional damage, which also can be followed up by a tenderize.
Never feel bad for a Kushala... Never.
My guy! You are incredible! Low Rank Bone Armor, Hammer, and you beat all these elder dragons BY YOURSELF ON YOUR FIRST ATTEMPTS?! You are a god! I just hope you’re ready for the DLC!
@@gabrielcrawford2967 after seeing what he did, he is more than ready
Fatalis ain't ready for this absolute talent
Switch Axe is a such fun, strong and badass weapon, but also difficult to learn(my opinion). I highly recommend
Btw you can press L2 ( the clutch claw aim button ) after doing a level 3 charged attack while in power charge state, it will do a very cool follow up attack
4:00 *_Violin starts playing_*
GG on the tutorial!
D-did bro just beat the game mostly using BONE ARMOR AND HAMMER….
CONGRATS ON BEATING THE BASE GAME!... now do master rank. (iceborne dlc)
back im my day fighting Elder Dragons with Low Rank armor was a nigh impossible feat and people doing it not just consistently but easily
I love World but holy crap its basegame fell off hard
You should try capturing the monsters. I believe capturing gives a lot more rewards after hunts as opposed to killing the monsters
At first I thought I wasted my money on the game because it was too hard for me but i gave it time and started researching through google and UA-cam for wisdom, also loved the process to know the game better
hop on Gunlance gang for a bit please
we may not be the strongest or the fastest (in this game) but goddamn if it doesnt make you feel cool
You gonna respect Matt Mercer while he speaks!!
I can't wait until they discover the claw combos with hammer
for the love of god get the airborne perk to improve your aireal hammer attacks
Try charge blade, it's quite simple to use 😉
Omg pls get some better armor 💀
His love for aerial attacks warrants him to try out the insect glaive
Watching you completing the game with that equipment was impressive. But please craft new armor in or for the dlc 😂
And upgrade your weapon. Fights are gonna take longer and are getting way harder.
Iceborne and Rise+Sunbreak next
dude you must be cracked at monster hunter because doing the entire base game in bone armor is nuts
play insect glaive if you like cool weapons
Charge blade 👍
Those who don't know: "I'mma play the DLC 😀"
Those who know: "🔥💀🔥"
The DLC ramps up the difficulty a pretty big amount so I suggest you get to mastering the systems of the game. The core system you need is set building and knowing what armor skills go with what you're trying to accomplish because it's really helpful to have a good armor set in the DLC. The other is getting more hammers, each one has different damage, status or elemental effects, critical chance (it's called affinity, if you have negative affinity there's a chance that the hit you perform actually does less damage), and sharpness (if a hammer has white sharpness it's better since it's also a hidden damage multiplier). Mastering that should get you through the DLC, some other niche things are like buff potions and getting super beneficial buffs from food but those aren't extremely necessary for like 80% of the DLC. I personally really enjoy the DLC and I've been playing the series since MH4U. Offers a great amount of challenge and stuff to do, still a little sad some of my favorite monsters didn't make it in but oh well.
In the base game you actually still have some monsters to face that we're added as free title updates. That includes 3 collaboration monsters that I won't spoil but they're from Final Fantasy and The Witcher 3. There's also the Kulve Taroth siege that sometimes rotates into the gathering hub.
I hope you keep having more fun with this game.
This guy resemble bwaap's video style. What difference is just the game they played
There's high rank Bone. Read.
pretty sure he knows. He even says that the LR does the job. Listen 😂
No way!!! the sequel just dropped 🎉😂
Oh and I think hunting horn will fit you since it's a hammer and you can do buffs with it
or the sword and shield that turn into a big axe
+1 sub
can't believe I just saw the prev video yesterday and then you upload the next part, agradecido con el de arriba.
Yayyy saw your last video at just the perfect time to watch part 2 :))
25:57 He's the boss that's why.
Why you so good so fast😅?
10:38 'being the final boss doesn't mean you're immune to brain damage'
*side-eyes 'the black dragon'* haha... if only.
1:10 “Your weapon ranks 8 in popularity” I consider that a compliment!
3:58 dun dunnnn dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dunnnnnnnnnn (bro knows the pain now)
13:45 hahaha
25:02 Oh, you gonna love the big one... Its amazing
So you did beat the base game, but you know what the funny thing is? You are completely missing out on so many content, and their are pre iceborne dlc too btw.
There is multiple wild palico tribe to befriend. The blue exclamation mark post story quest that unlock more monsters and crossover event. The incredibly awesome pet system for your room (you literally can just capture any small animals and put them in your room). A bunch of optional quest that unlock more specialize tools, food buff and upgrade the many facility in the base. And the multiple builds you can make just to ramp up your fun factor.
Honestly it's unbelievable that you didn't even try to experiment with different set of armors and skills, or even the different type of hammer you can make. Just saying but grinding in MH game is a big part of the fun factor. So I'm just trying to tell you that if you gonna play this game more, take your time with it and try to do everything the game have to offer. Because at the end of the day, nobody play MH game for the story lol, it's all for the fun of playing a game.
