Seconding a mask for getting the glow on -- I am 60 and was fairly convinced that my skin, with its sun damage, wrinkles/creases, uneven tone and texture and general age-related issues, could not do glow without makeup. Watching your videos I was like, what is this thing, this ""glow" you speak of? Then I used a sheet mask by Benton from their Snail Bee line (adds to the landfill, but I didn't think about that at the time I bought it, oh well) and afterwards, wow, chok chok! There it was! I love this sheet mask and use one whenever I need some extra hydration and/or a pick-me-up, it's amazing. Plus I've found that the I'm From Honey Mask gives me a bit of a glow as well, so there you go. Have a wonderful week, Rob!
I've been wanting to try the Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum for a while now and at the price point I think I just need to order it! Another serum I love for glow is Futuredew from Glossier. It has the "prismatic elements" you speak of in a light emulsion with squalane and other soothing extracts. It's lovely, cruelty-free, and at a great price point. As they say it's a "short-cut" to glow but I'm entirely okay with that!
Flavanone mud is so expensive but it lasts sooooo long and it is actually more efficient than any average clay mask! I could tell it cleaned my pores better.
I tried BOJ Dynasty cream, calming serum and glow serum, and for SURE the glow serum was the best purchase of all three. For acne prone skin, it is a must!
Just a heads up about Joseon Glow serum. It has a fair amount of Tea Tree extract which can be useful for combo or oily skins but it is not too great for dry skin. Repair is better for dry skin and also works for all skin types. :-)
I tried the Seoulsista sheet masks and they stung my skins o bad, I had to wash my face three times and slather my skin in cerave cream to calm it down. I've used many Korean sheet masks before, and don't have sensitive skin, but that sheet mask was like fire on my skin, I was afraid of burning my face off so had to take it off immediately
Does the 12% make u look tan or just highlighted? I could never understand what it’s for and the different opacity’s like the 8%. What does that one do? I got the Hylamide photography foundation to try. Would love an explanation about the NIOD ones and their differences!! BTW every time you say to click the like button and ‘I’ll love you forever’ I start singing the song by Meatloaf called ‘Paradise by the dashboard lights’. Listen to it and you’ll see why lol
