**Updated daily** List of the best Bluetooth aids on the market: www.ziphearing.com/bluetooth-hearing-aids?
Thank you. I really appreciate your honesty.
Thank you so very much for providing this service. I'm hoping one day to be able to walk into a store like America's Best is for glasses, but be able to pick a hearing aid at less than $500. The Bluetooth earbuds are under $300, and I'd love to see the same technology bring the prices down and make hearing aids affordable for everyone.
I recently purchased a pair of Virto marvel hearing aids. It's the coolest hearing aid I have used. Whenever I get a call, my hearing aids automatically pick up my voice so I don't necessarily have to hold my phone. They don't look like normal hearing aids. Sometimes people take them for a pair of ear buds.
Thanks for your comment! Please consider writing a brief review of that hearing aid here: www.ziphearing.com/hearing-aids/phonak/virto-marvel/virto-marvel-90
Unfortunately I lost my starkey hearing aids in a flood that just happened 2 weeks ago I lost my house also I can’t afford new ones I had Cholesteatoma when I was little and had major surgery for it which is why I have severe hearing loss cause of the severe damage that did. Even when I got my first pair the lions club got them for me and I remember hearing birds for the first time and I started crying. I just wish I could replace them. But I love your videos very educational so thank you! I can dream of hearing again one day
Very happy with my Phonak P90.
Hello
What is your opinion about Widex Moment Hearing Aids??
You didn’t mention this model.
Love them! ua-cam.com/video/VqNdu8VYgJY/v-deo.html
I am a loyal Oticon user, I am hoping that Oticon could create an oticon more point 2 with bluetooth connectivity without the streamer device like the Audeo Marvel. Any clue if that will be happening?
It exists...More is directly compatible with a bunch of phones, no streamer required, check here: www.oticon.com/support/compatibility
I hate those streamer device they never work right as I have Starkey BTE Z Series from a some years back as I pick up Surflink Mobile 2 what pile of junk it was
I've hand Phonak and Oticon behind the ear hearing aids. Neither has done a good job with noisy environments. I'd say that they both are terrible. My interest in in the ear hearing aids is that they utilize the anatomy of my ear to capture sound. I'm not very concerned in how they look. #1- Is my thinking sound (no pun intended) and #2 - Which would you recommend?
When you say "behind the ear", do you mean "receiver-in-canal" (RIC) style hearing aids? If so, and if performance in noise wasn't good enough, and if you tried this year, or last year's models, I unfortunately don't think you'd notice any difference in in-the-ear devices. Yes, your logic is correct that deeply fitting in-the-ear devices do utilize the anatomy of your ear to capture sound, but they introduce a bunch of new issues too. Like many things related to hearing aids- you fix one problem and create another, or two others :/ Check out this video for more info: ua-cam.com/video/_3RTJfJIlxQ/v-deo.html
In Nov 2021, my hearing test was covered by Insurance. A pair of Resound Key 4 Essential RIE, with Bluetooth & rechargeable is $1,850, plus another $600 for the Audiologist. Totaling $2,450
Pretty competitive price
@@Ziphearing Oh My. It's an Essentials and I thought I was overpaying, by $500
What about easy clean of the mic screen my Starkey BTE Z Series is fair easy but there not water proof let alone water resistant as I'm a heavy sweater so I have take them out, I love to have water proof hearing aid but I'm sure they would cost way out of my price range
You didn’t mention the Resound One RIC. Is that one not as well liked?
It is, here's my review: ua-cam.com/video/T4pZf9Hq8XM/v-deo.html but, we're not seeing it be as popular as the two mentioned in the video. Still a great unit
Hi! Wbu starsky Picasso IIC? Isn’t invisible and also with Bluetooth?
It's invisible, probably my favorite invisible aid available, but not with direct Bluetooth, as of now. It requires a Bluetooth streamer (intermediary device).
Can't buy any of these online
Right...the manufacturers want you to have local care (adjustments), so they can be sure it's fitted appropriately by trained hearing providers
