Kinda reminds me in MHGU I knocked a Dreadking Rathalos out of the air _frame perfect_ with getting hit by his pin attack, so we were both left on the ground writhing.
Was a charge.There is almost no tell, and its whole body just becomes an attack. I was expecting that to happen sooner. The timing of all the other blows is insane.
It's rare but it happens. It charged right as the sword came down. I remember doing the multiple Yian Kut-Ku quest and charged my hammer and slammed the same time it charged. It died and I got sent flying.

I feel like this sums up my main problem with old gen Garuga. The charge of this son of a bitch is *impossible* to predict. He literally becomes a moving hitbox in less than one second.
I have played so much FU I felt it coming when you’re timing was so slightly off. Maximum butthole clench. Not that I’m good at the game, just that I’m very used to getting hit by that over and over and over. x D
Its understandable.. its on rage mode.. and rage mode is messed up in FU.. its not about the hit box.. i learned that from rajang that anything can happen and its making you think outsidr the box rather than following a pattern..
Sometimes people use bombs to cancel out eating animations or any other animation that might shave off unnecessary time. Its really only usrd by speedrunners. In this case it was a bit of of that but also activating heroics.
@@Ziel.. ngl i just read that as bombs. Ignore my brainfart. But he threw the flash to get the attention of the garuga since if you hit him without him having noticed you yet he will fly away to another area. And it would be a lot of time wasted to position in front of him.
@@spicymayoi5496 For casual playthrough it doesn't make that big of a difference. I love to see that other people still play the old games, they are so much more skill based than for example rise
