    I *love* the summary at the end with the leagues and how we think they'll do.
    A favorite of mine in a couple of saves I've done (including Newcastle United) was Alan Velasco form the MLS Dallas side.

      I always think it's fun to look at players at different levels. Everybody knows your Kvaratskhelias and your Rafael Leãos, but who's gonna do the business when you're playing as Genk!
      Velasco is a great shout, too. Didn't do too great in the simulations, but he's only 20. A lot of potential there!

    Another great, great video. Dribbly bois ar my favorite bois too. One question. How do you calculate the projected league level for each player?

    • @mustermannfm
      @mustermannfm  4 місяці тому +1

      It is my recommendation. Whilst I show the lowest ranked team he will SIGN for, I also make recommendations for what level I think they are at (which will often be above that lowest ranked team), and the projected leagues helps contextualise this.
      I look for players with a similar, but worse profile, who are still playing "well".
      For example, David Ajiboye. High dribbles, high shots, average goals, below average expected assists. He profiled similarly to Crysencio Summerville, Tatsuhiro Sakamoto, and other capable players in the Championship, but his statistical output was roughly 10-25% higher (depending on the player compared to).
      League One is ranked 28th. The Championship is ranked 15th. That's a big jump up, and you would expect some regression in his performances at that level, but he's not going to suddenly forget how to play football. As such, I think his level will be a little below that.

    Once again, Mustermann does the business.
    Also, can I ask what the music is in the background? Every time I hear it, Iit makes me think I'm hearing Bridge over Troubled Water. Sure it's the same chord pattern!

      Chorus: G D Em A
      Middle 8/Breakdown: Em Bm

Is it possible for me to be able those kind of stats displayed just like yours? Since my way to see them is to go through the patsy chart instead of it default-ly shown on a player's profile. Cheers!

      No. Because it is an overlay for the video. The game has no way of displaying stats that are aggregated from across multiple saves. To edit the skin, I recommend heading to the SI Forums and reading through the skinning guides.

    This series pragmatic. Thanks for sharing with us this big contents. One question, can we do this for finding regens? My scouts are best but hard to find regens in game. Right now I am playing with Juventus, it is my second team in my save but realy hard to find regens. I make tranfer focus for scouts but cant find regens in world. Scout team knowledge is absulte monster.

    • @mustermannfm
      @mustermannfm  4 місяці тому +1

      If you're looking for regens when they're 16/17, then no. One of the biggest elements of Moneyball is a preference towards evidence. And young players tend not to have performance data at first team level to go on. That said, if a 16/17 has broken into the first team at a club (even if it's not particularly impressive), it's probably a good sign that they're quite good.

    Hi, I have a quick question. Are the stats of a player who plays in Danemark (i would look to recruit for my Marseille squad) compared with the Ligue 1 players or with the danish league in which he plays ?

    • @mustermannfm
      @mustermannfm  4 місяці тому +1

      Taken from the FAQs:
      In simple terms, it’s a chart showing a high level view of how often a player performs a specific action and how that ranks when compared to their peers. The bigger the slice, the higher the player ranks. A player in the 90th percentile for a category means they perform that action more than 90% of other players.
      The pizza chart is calculated at 5% intervals, and each concentric circle represents a 20th percentile. It is based loosely on the above article from The Athletic, adapted to work with the metrics available within FM.
      I have analysed 26,000 players playing more than 900 minutes in the TOP 20 DOMESTIC LEAGUES, breaking down each metric by position. Due to limitations this means the underlying data is static. For example, an Attacking Midfielder who completes 4 dribbles per game will always be ranked in the 90th percentile, even if at that exact moment in your game world there may in fact more or less players better than them.
      The same metrics are used for each position (except goalkeepers) to enable you to understand the tactical profile of a player. Forwards will be involved in a defensive capacity, and defenders will be involved in an attacking capacity, and understanding how a player compares in his position in all aspects of the game is important.

      @@mustermannfm Thanks a lot for taking the time to respond to me I really appreciate it. However, I do suppose a player in a Danish league doing 4 dribbles game won't do the same thing in the Prem or in Ligue 1. I just find it difficult to estimate how much this player will lose in dribbles per game by going in teams at a higher level.

    • @mustermannfm
      @mustermannfm  4 місяці тому +1

      @@hehehaw1752 4 dribbles per game is sensational, you should be confident that they would do well in that particular area at a higher level. Maybe not to the exact same degree, but he's not going to suddenly forget how to do it entirely.
      Which is how it is in real life. There is always a risk when taking players from "lower" divisions.

    • @mustermannfm
      @mustermannfm  4 місяці тому +1

      Firstly, welcome!!
      This is, as the thumbnail states, a Moneyball approach. Meaning we are statistic-led, rather than attribute-focused. Using the Mustermann Iconic skin (bit.ly/46zPxAP) which replaces numbers with icons representing a range. Those ranges are the same as used by the vanilla skin, and the key is present in the video. But for posterity:
      Big & Orange = Excellent (16+)
      Medium & Light Purple = Good (11-15)
      Small & Dark Purple = Average (6-10)
      Miniscule & Very Dark Purple = Low (1-5)
      Below is the methodology (as mentioned in the first 20 seconds):
      METHODOLOGY
      I performed 10 full detail simulations of the Top 30 leagues to create a single database to give me insight into player and team performances under the current Match Engine. Set up in real world mode, with the first transfer window disabled. Teams were able to make transfers in January, allowing us to get a sense of what the AI considers each team's areas of weakness.
      All player statistics were exported for players in active leagues who played over 900 minutes, aggregated and then standardised to per 90 metrics. All player recommendedations will come from this pool.
      No editor files were used as part of this process, ensuring that the guide provided is applicable to the vanilla game.
