This show is so badly written, directed and acted that there is no point to trying to explain any part of it. This is not the Middle Earth that millions of people became immersed in. The dialogue is so incredibly cringe that to associate it in any way with the genius of Tolkien points to a complete lack of understanding that he was a language scholar! "The sea is always right!" WTF is that? Elrond the Nutless giving tongue to Guyladriel.....his future Mother-in-Law, seriously? This show is garbage, pure and simple. That Jeffy has enough money to keep producing this turd inspite of losing money hand over fist only points out the absurdity of you people continuing to heap false praise on it. How is that jacket with the T.R.O.P. logo on it fitting these days? What else did you get in your goody package from Jeffy? Did you find your credibility in there Mr. Shill? Here's hoping 2 years from now T.R.O.P. will be nothing but a faded memory of how not to make a series by trashing the canon of a beloved story written by a true genius.
