Can anybody help me, I recently changed my spark plug wires on my 2.0L jetta and I guess one wasn’t pushed down all the way and it popped off mid drive. My car threw a check engine light and it started shaking. I knew it was the wire and when I check it popped off. After that I’ve had this transmission slip, it feels like it shifts too early and on the highway I’ll be at 6th gear around 75-80mph and now it goes to 6th gear around 60 mph. Any help?
Try disconnecting the battery and check transmission for correct fluid level
@@RadiationTech I don’t have a dipstick, only way to check is by the bolt under the pan . And I don’t wanna mess it up. I’ll try the battery method, hopefully it works

Indeed on my A6 C6
What does it help you with?
The car slowly adapts to your driving style. i.e. If you like to step on the gas often, it will eventually shift gear at higher rpm (which make it more responsive, but worse fuel consumption) and vice versa. This is how to reset it.
throttle body reset nothing else
