Do you notice a big difference with less snow on the ice in how those pike come in? Do they seem more shy? Good looking video fellas. Just got into spearing this year
The one thing we did notice was much clearer water and the decoy was more flashy without snow, as far as the fishes behavior I’m not sure we picked up on anything. We also just kind of got into it this year. Thanks.
i was gonna try spearing on lake thompson, is that lake
clear enough to spear in maybe 5 or 6 fow ?
Yes, I think it will be plenty clear to spear in that depth!
Awesome video!

Where do you get your spears? I can't find any online or locally. Guys don't want to part with them here.
We got our spears at runnings, they usually have a few on hand. Not sure if you have runnings where you are located.
@@highplainshunting3002 Is that a Latko pike spear? Did you put the wooden handle on it?
@@aworker4mi I’m not sure what brand it is! But mine does not have a wooden handle.
at 5:09 it looks like the nose of another one coming in
Yeah you’re right! We didn’t notice that until
the video was up.
Devils?
No we were in south dakota!
