When I was a DJ for a bit in college,I once played a song called There is Life Even After a Broken Heart by White Lion.while it was playing I got a call from somebody thanking me and explaining to me how he was down because he was having problems in his love life and how the song made him feel better.All of this is a long,roundabout way of trying to say that maybe it would do your cousin some good if she heard this song as well as the one you played.

And as the universe sent you this song to send to her I also had a huge breakup back in the 70's with my childhood sweetheart. And I was wallowing in self-pity and depression to the point of some really dark thoughts and the universe sent me Burton Cumming's song " Stand Tall" over the car radio one night when I was about to do something really stupid.

It’s a beautiful song. I know when you are in the dark night of the soul of grief, it’s hard to believe the sun will shine again. Sounds like she has a great support system. I just remembered that when my sister was in the dumps with her divorce, she called one day to say she was in a “funk.” I said, perfect! Find that song “funky town!” And dance out the funk. Made her laugh. I have learned that I can grieve and still find the humor. She may not be ready for that but, just let her know people are pulling for her! ❤️. You are a good cousin and a kind soul.
