Jake gives inconsistent advice. I think the point is to not always listen to what he says, but to think about it
I interpret it as how life advice is constantly inconsistent, that in certain situations the same advice we hear can get overdone and at times demotivating, and it’s all about changing your perspective constantly to keep going
