- A weekend fly fishing trip only 25km out of Vancouver, British Columbia. Pitt River is fed from the Garibaldi Mountain ranges and travels south into Pitt Lake, where there is an abundance of Bull Trout.
Thanks to @pittriverfishing for the transport and help during the trip.

A time for sure! 🙌🏼
Great vid! Looks like a lot of fun. I'm motivated to get out there because of this now haha!
Love this! Thank you for your comment and yes!…go get it 🙌🏼👊🏼
Very Nice !!!!~~~~ Some Gold Panning???
thats Upper Pitt River.
i gear fish more than fly fish up there but you need a heavy tippet and anything white !
what time of the year were you guys up there? Thanks in advance.
Last weekend! Early June 😉
what was the road you guys went up? could you go up that on a car or no?
That was a loggers road. Only able to get there is by getting the water taxi at the bottom of the lake 👍🏽.
Where are you from??? Are you BC RESIDENT?
New Zealand 🙌🏼 But I am a Canadian Citizen
00:35 quite the mole on the lady's right side of the face. She should check that. Looks non-uniform. I'm an RN.
Thank you for your comment and concern! As non-uniform as it may look, my gf gets it checked regularly and is also an RN. She is on my case about my moles more than anything! But thank you :)
I'm also an RN and the mole looks to be ok. Lets schedule another check for 6 months time.
First mistake bringing a road bike ,when you should have a mountain bike. Tisk tisk mate
Gravel bike with gravel tires (although yes tires were still on the slimmer side - 30mm).
@@samn0sterHighly recommend the kevlar belted ones, if you can get them in your size. Knock on wood, no flats here in three years, on my two bikes riding pavement and the KVR etc. 🤙
These are the guys you hear about getting eaten in the Forrest
Can’t be eaten in the city!
What do you mean? They seem to have taken all the necessary precautions from what I observed.
Is there not bears around? You guys keep making mistakes one day you'll end up in trouble.
Bears yes. We carried bear spray everywhere. Not going to stop us from being outdoors at all. Similar to saying surfing & sharks. Very minimal risk. More risk of getting hurt in a fatal car crash daily!
@@samn0ster the mistake I was referring to was how you had your food just on the ground while you were away fishing.
Not sure about that there’s lots of wildlife up there pretty risky
Difference between animals and humans is that animals change themselves for the environment, but humans change the environment for themselves.
@@samn0ster Did you see any evidence of bears? When I went up the whole valley was empty of bears, lots of evidence of big hairy man-like creatures.
