This demo is really good Even Wicca sounds way better with this version of the song. They just needed a different effect for his vocals- but his Harmony with Ethel after his verse was honestly really pretty

ethels a friend of mine, she sent me this back in december 2020. before that there was another really stripped down demo with just the chorus that she posted on tumblr and another one with different verses / instrumental than this that i think she only sent to me n a few other people but never posted. those two, this one, and the final version are the only versions i know of

Dear Ethel Cain it has been a week today since I went up and saw you in Portland Maine. It was definitely one of the best days of my life and best concert I ever been to!!! I drove two hours out of state and waited 3 hours in line. I was lucky enough to get up front and you were so amazing you came up and held my hand sang to me during American teenager. You rubbed my hand while doing it and I can tell you are a true genuine artist. You are the best artist ever!
