There's a mistake from a show a couple of years ago in Chicago where Mick introduces Midnight Rambler, so Keith starts playing it, and Ron Wood is in absolute panic, because they're supposed to be doing Paint it Black, and he's got the guitar that has that Sitar sound needed for Paint it Black. He charges up to Mick, Mick laughs, they stop and say sorry, that's our first fuck up on the tour, and Keith says "The first one in Chicago!"
Saw McCartney in concert mess up the lyrics to We Can Work it Out. Forgot the words! Stopped song and restarted from the top. It happens. When you have 500 songs in your head and also have to remember the chords to play, it must be intimidating, but they somehow pull it off, mostly flawlessly

I'm so glad that I'm on the same timeline with Keith Richards and the Stones
I liked how even though he messed up, Keith used his wit to fix the situation. As the old saying goes, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
Hey hey, my my
Rock and roll can never die
There's more to the picture
Than meets the eye.
Hey hey, my my.
Long Live The Rolling Stones👍🙏
Made me feel better keefer 🥰
Great singing ... Keith, Love ya
I know it sounds rough and scrappy but come on, it's Keef, still rocking as a pensioner, extremely HAPPY!!
Wow-a humble human being who can laugh at his mistakes! Gotta love Keith! I’ve always thought he was a humble man, all through the years.
Just love him & Ronnie's vibe together..How Keef depends on him..
this guy will never run out of energy..HAPPY !
100%. I don't consider it a big deal at all.
Also Keith is funny love his interviews always. he is the STONE.
He screws up the lyrics as well.. but he can afford to do anything with it. He wrote it. Love Keith!
Read his book, great stories and insights. New respect for him and his art. Thank you Keith!
I wish I could see the Stones with no extras & frills - just 2 guitars, a bass, drums and Mick
That's how it was when I saw them in 2007. The performance of this song was one of my favourite moments, didn't expect them to do it. Sounded so much better than this.
Te amo, Keith! Pablo desde Argentina...
That's all right this guy can mess up he still a giant iconic legend
He looks fantastic !
Lol so easy to forgive 😉 I hate performers who don't joke when they screw up ! Nothing but positive vibes here :D
This totally made my day 😍 Fantastic sound! Must be soundboard...wow 🔥
