That Mom was really well socialized early in her life to know good humans from bad ones. Why why why would any good person give up and abandon a great dog like her?? Eldad,you and all the great people who participate in these rescues deserve the very best life has to offer forever.
She seems quite young, too. Amazing ti have nine healthy pups there. The people feeding her did a great job.
Probably dumped her because she got knocked up.
People spay or neuter their dogs, and then they won't get pregnant.
@@connienowak298, Maybe not dumped for that reason since she’d been living in the desert for a year. She may have gotten lost. Either way, glad her and her puppies were healthy, rescued and headed for good homes.
My friends and I also do rescues. We have a 501(3)c. What we're finding more and more is people moving out of a house and into an apartment where dogs aren't allowed. Most shelters are full. Some charge a surrender fee anywhere from $275 to $450, so ppl end up dumping their pets. It's a terrible time for everyone.

Those temporary caregivers and rescuers did a wonderful job, those puppies AND Momma look to be in great health!
They are not temporary caregivers but until to give them in any kind adopter they keep them with such peaceful place just like heaven. There are many best best organisations in this world among them one is this .

Thanks for all of you and what you do!!! It's nice to know some people still care. My family has been rescuing kittens for over 30 years, at this time we have 12 precious fur babies in our home. They are all from the same family. Daddy Tigger,his kids Rusty, Mandy, Amber, Elsa, Mason. Son, in law Sampson, and grandchildren ... Melody, Gabriel, Rafe, Jeremiah, Caleb. We will be keeping them all together as they are now part of our forever family.
Pepper is so beautiful! Her pups are gorgeous too! If I wasn't so dang old, I would love to have Pepper and a couple of her pups, but I'm afraid they would outlive me and we know how that can go. I pray they all find wonderful homes. Thank you HFP!!!!!❤

@@susanburke3722 this is what I suggested to my mother-in-law when he was doggie-less. Unfortunately, her health prevented it, but until then she was already to become a foster parent.

My 85 year old mom adopted a deaf and blind 10 year old cattle dog from our local Humane Society. It was a perfect match. He lived a wonderful two more years with her and passed just before my mom would have become unable to really care for him. She passed away last year at 88. There are many great senior dogs looking for homes.
@@ChiefHerzensCoach I adopted a 9 year old beagle and terrier mix (miniature schnauzer I think) from a shelter who lived with me for almost 8 years until she had a stroke. She was wonderful company, very smart and kept me on my toes! RIP Krystal!
I have another shelter dog now adopted almost 2 years ago, and he's 6 now. He's a small dog, so hopefully we'll have many more years together.
You really did make a difference here. Imagine the four little females and the mom procreating over and over again. And their daughters and their daughters, too. So much suffering averted. Well done Hope for Paws! And well done CARE team! Thank you all for your great work.
The owner probably realized the dog was pregnant and abandoned her. SMH...I don't know what's wrong with people.
@@20thcenturyrelic Well that wouldn't and doesn't make sense at all. Within the first 10 seconds of the video they said that the dog had been in the desert for over a year. They also said people feed the dog for a year. If the dog was abandoned because she was pregnant, her puppies would be bigger.

When I’m down l look at the rescue videos of yours and my spirit rises. I’m a Marine veteran from the Vietnam war and have suffered with ptsd since 1968. It's heartbreaking all of the abandoned and abused pets 💔💔💔😢😢😢 I know it has to be hard on Hope For Paws so many pets in need of rescue, medical care, food, love, but yet they (Hope For Paws) is always there when humanly possible giving them all of that many times not even thinking about the dangers to their selves but rather doing everything possible to help as many of them as possible. If only everyone loved those fur babies as much as they do! 💖💖💖

I was watching this with my rescued puppy mill dog asleep in my lap. When you played the puppy recording she bolted upright and started looking behind me for the puppies! It was so sweet to see what an attentive mom she must have been even in those conditions.

What a relief! The 9 puppies and their mother dog were rescued in the desert by thoughtful, brave and gentle ladies who were so gratitude to pass this dog family to Hope For Paws. I wish all of them will be able to make good relationships with new nice owners respectively.
You all are so awesome -- the rescue team and the team at CARES. I do a little cat rescue work and fostering and I know how time consuming and, sometimes, heartbreaking it can be. But there's nothing like the rewards of helping a furbaby get healthy and socialized until they are ready for a wonderful, loving home. Thank you!!!!

Thank-you HFP for following mom dog to her place. I question how long these people had been feeding her and if they should have gotten her help before she got pregnant. So sad.

I can’t understand how anyone could abandon a loving dog like that. At least drop unwanted pets off at a vet or rescue centre. But even better still, if you can’t or don’t want to look after a pet for their whole life then don’t get one at all. You need to provide emotional and financial support. You guys on here are amazing. Thank you for rescuing this sweet mother and her pups and for giving them the life they deserve.
