Most animals are very protective with food, especially when they are hungry or food is scarce. The fact through all of that... cold, alone, hungry, sick... that little guy wanted to share his bread with the people rescuing him, shows incredible awareness and gratitude. That absolutely broke me. I'm happy such a pure soul got to find a home he could be safe in. ❤

I was having Dodo for breakfast before I started working. LOL All these rescues put me into Ahhhww and O my God and oh my Goodness mode As a South African who loves Cape Town and animals the first rescue of course tugged my heart !! I also foster and rescue. But on a smaller scale. Thank you to everyone who helped these doggies return back to life in Paradise where they belong from a life of hell
You can help but feel an overwhelming sense of emotions for these pups, where they came from and how they are now. Such innocent little creatures who always deserve the best. Reminds me of the Disney movie, “All Dogs go to Heaven”.
OMG...to see the look on the first puppy's face when he was offering bread just opened up the floodgate. That was sooo sweet. What a sweetheart and I'm so happy for him, I'm so happy for all of them really. Simon, you lovely boy and Beauty, you are a beauty. It's horrific to see a puppy that looks like an older dog because of it's skin condition. I wish for them all to live their best lives possible with lots of love and toys!
