A Sonic Colours Remastered as probably been Leaked! A listing for a Sonic Colours or Colors Remaster has apparently appeared on a German Localisation companies website.
I decided to look into this and think there is some very strong evidence here to suggest this is true and a Colours localisation is in development and will be announced for Sonic's 30th Anniversary later this year. - Ігри

So fact I've posted this should tell you a lot.

I hope that this is true because I want a port of Sonic And The Black Knight. A port of Sonic Colors is a great thing and it gives me hope that they will port over my favorite Sonic game Sonic And The Black Knight. Also if it’s true as far as porting over games to the switch is concerned finally.
There is MORE PROOF to it existing. So its more likely now. I have pics of it being sold online. Do you have a discord account that i could share it with?
Sonic colours seems to be a really strange choice for a remaster when so many fans are crying out for an adventure 1 & 2 remaster.
Probably technically easier. Closer to modern standards etc. Just upscale and whoo

I’d love a black knight remake but I think it would also be pretty cool if secret rings was included with black knight in a collection type thing

German fan here. I'm very concerned about the German dub of the game, as Sonic's German voice actor, Marc Stachel, has resigned from voicing Sonic. The guy who voiced him in the movie is a German UA-camr called Julien Bam. He makes a terrible Sonic, his voice doesn't fit Sonic at all, and he has little to no experience in voice acting in general. We can only hope that the German dub will have a different voice for Sonic - perhaps Tobias Müller? He did voice him in the German version of Wreck-it Ralph, so it wouldn't mean casting an entirely new voice for Sonic.
Has he resigned though ? I see no news on that. Julien was just selected by paramount, the movie makers, for marketing reasons.
@@subbaro8602 Marc Stachel said he will no longer be voicing Sonic as he feels he's getting too old and his voice isn't good enough anymore. He said this in an unofficial interview.
@@sonics_wife That would be a huge blow, he has been THE german voice for sonic ever since. But I guess with Hartmut Neugebauers death it is time for a whole new cast. Like with roger, it was a really long run we had going on there.
And maybe Sonic Colors is the best to start with as well. What a coincidence...They started the new english cast (Sonic, Tails) on this game in 2010 back then too
This is cool, but I question why Sonic Colours of all Sonic games? Colours only came out about 10 years ago and even though it was on the Wii it doesn't look too bad at all, even by today's standards. Besides, there are other games that are objectively in much greater need of a remaster and are generally more well loved with fans. Like the Adventure games. I theorise that this is likely just a side project being developed at the same time as a bigger thing and it'll release at around the time the new big game is announced. Sort of like a Spinball-style stop gap to keep the fans happy whilst working on something much larger.

Did anyone hear that we got another Colours leak on the same day? A French online store also put up listings for “Sonic Colours: Ultimate - Limited Edition” for Nintendo Switch, Xbox and PS.
SEGA has been porting a bunch of their old games like Yakuza, so this is a pretty good bet.
I'd rather them remaster the DS version.
Not just because it's a better game in every regard, but also because I'd love to play any of the Rush games on a home console.
At the very least, this is hopefully indicative of what is to come, and that there will be more announcements and releases soon. Any news is better than no news.

Sonic colors is my favorite modern sonic game I'm glad if this is real
Although I'm not completely sure, my gut feeling is that "Sonic Colors Remastered" isn't the final title. With that in mind, while it's not especially likely (actually it's not likely at all) this could actually be part of a larger bundle deal. Sonic Colors in particular getting updated localization and probably some minor graphical enhancements, but also maybe some other games included in the bundle to sweeten the deal such as either or both versions of Sonic Unleashed. This would be fantastic for accessibility in regards to bringing some of these older titles to modern consoles and PC.
I want a collection of all the boost games except forces on modern consoles and pc and if this is real, it might actually happen

I wonder what exactly is being implied here. If this remaster is in fact in development, and far enough along to be getting localized, what does that really mean? Is the game going to be getting a new dub, or is it as simple as just translating text and etc. into various languages for global distribution? Perhaps the existing dubs will be re-released but with higher quality audio?
This was my favorite childhood game, and is still one of my favorites today even if it's story is a little lackluster. I do hope that they incorporate the Nega Wisp from DS into this, as I assume it would be a remaster of the Wii version. Maybe fleshing out the story a bit more, adding missions or changing up the acts a bit, maybe even adding the wisps from the DS as well. I don't expect any of these to be added, but it would be really cool if they did.
I grew up with this game more than older sonics but still also grew up with old sonics.

Very fitting for Colors to get a remaster because Colors turned 10 years old last year. And I also think we are going to get an announcement this June.
Colors I consider to be the game where Sonic rebounded, so i’m not surprised to see it get a remaster/rerelease.

Personally, I’ll only really be interested in this if decent mods come out for it.
Taking a guess, LW was probably easier to port than Colours, since the latter was optimised for an SD console and used a different engine (judging by the use of Physx over Havoc). Plus LW was the more recent title and Sega wanted to increase that games ROI.
I do wonder if Generations, Colors and Boom are all being used as placeholders for the listing. That this maybe confirms a new sonic project, but it's being obfuscated by other titles... In any case, interesting.

Loved Colors when I played it on the wii. So if it is coming I'll definitely get it. I wonder if they plan on remastering parts of the ds version or if it's strictly just the wii version.
The DS version is almost a completely different game (and a better game at that). They'd have to remaster them individually.
This is quite exciting news IMO.
I mean sure I like many others would have preferred a Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 remastered combo but Sonic Colors with one of the games I didn't get to play around the time when it released because I stopped playing the series and never went back to it for a little over 10 years. This was one of the games I missed out on and I haven't been able to find a copy anywhere and whenever I looked on Amazon it's usually overpriced or it's pre-owned and doesn't seem reliable.
If this game gets remastered that would be really cool I think you would be even better if they changed the game so Nintendo switch players could play it via switch Pro Controller! Do you think it would be possible if they would consider adding anything to the game?

The only consoles Colors was released on as far as I’m aware, were the wii (which is the version I played) and the ds, so yeah, they might he porting to other systems now, especially since the wii is now pretty much a ‘dead’ console

I am not sure why Sonic Colors would be remastered when it only came out a little over 10 years ago. It’s not exactly long enough for SEGA to be “introducing this game to the next generation of gamers”. Like, many people still remember this game.
Like he said, this version of Colors was only on Wii, and isn’t available on any other console. It would be a waste to let a game be stuck on one platform, and be unable to be played easily in modern years (unlike Adventure, Generations, ect.) and while I don’t know much about the game, I’m assuming that it was tailored to the Wii’s controls, meaning that the developers would need to do a significant overhaul.
