Appears to be a beautiful farm operation. Love all the older red tractors. All the barns, silos, etc. Has to be a lot of fun in spite of all the hard work.

It’s a really pretty operation! Very nice to work back and forth with them. All the IHs have a ton of hours on them. Thanks for watching!

Love the natural corn like that. Nothing but manure and time

It’s very cool how well it grew especially this being the first time trying it. My corn at home is sprayed and fertilized cause I don’t have enough cattle to use just manure. But I’m glad these guys are able to pull it off!

I’m in Minnesota and have grown my corn (35) acres the same way for 6 seasons now and haven’t had any problems yet,, producing 3 corn cribs(16 ft round each) full.,,,getting it all done with a 856, have a great day

That’s awesome! Yeah definitely cool that it worked this year. Our corn at home is fertilized and sprayed. We don’t have enough manure to do this. Sounds like a good yield and gotta love a good ole 856!

hello sir I'm a new subscriber and thought I'd take a look at your video and I liked it , I love watching them old RED tractors work , it's much better than watching the new stuff all the time , I don't farm any more , but back in the 70's and 80's that's was what we used

Howdy! Thanks for stopping by! Glad I could bring some entertainment! I do enjoy running older tractors. My favorite we have has to be the 856. Very nice all around tractor. I love them all but for sure the most comfortable is the 8300.

Retired dairy producer now in CA. It is missed ( a little). Stay safe. The secret to organic is ready access to and liberal use of livestock. Yea Haa!

Was wondering if there is any nutritional value to the corn stalks that are that dried out? I know that there is in the what my grandfather who farmed in South Dakota called dent corn, in the mix? He just picked it with a M and two row corn picker McCormick and plowed it under later.
I produce horse hay in Snohomish Washington using a 966, Hydro 70, 656 hydro, SMTA and a 400. They all have there job to do.

It seemed like this stuff was gonna be too dry. But the variety that was selected was a slow dry down variety so it held moisture extremely well. Fermented nicely. Our corn at home was drier yet and still turned out nice in the bag. Very cool on the line up of rigs! We don’t have any letter tractors anymore. Smallest one we have is an 806 now and that might go down the road too.

We couldn’t get into the field till it froze. We had 17” of rain between September and then. We tried one time and got absolutely buried

That corn is way to dry to make "proper ensilage". I guess the cows will eat it anyway. Better than nothing.

The CO-OP that the milk is sold to allows for us to plant this corn. Just not allowed to use commercial fertilizer or herbicide
