I'm thinking about pulling the trigger and ordering one BUT first I have two questions:
      1) Do you really need the earpro?
      2) The muzzle break looks badly mis-timed. Can you adjust it?

Hi,I have a question that I feel you could answer me the best!?I'm looking to but the 13inch barrel b&w 35cal with 250,,ta ka on the front and back.and wanted to get the 35cal thinking can get higher velocity, however what I've seen is the 35cal and 45cal is about the same in FPS.Can you tell me from experience does the velocity differ that much from the two calibers?I'd appreciate Any info you could give me!!Thank you🤙

I'm always amazed by the sounds of these airguns. You only hear the clacking metal from the otherwise silent shots. You really underestimate the 200+ Joules just based on sound alone. Makes me wonder why suppressors are even regulated in the USA when someone can just use an airgun like this for quiet home defense and save your ear drums. Nice video again with great ballistics data.

Hello my friend and awesome channel host! Haha don’t be fooled. Unfortunately I film everything on Apple devices, iPhone and iPad, which compensate loud sounds. In fact, if you notice, the first shot is always a bit louder than the rest. That’s because the microphone compensates the levels after that.
This thing sounds like a firearm, it is LOUD! You must absolutely wear ear protection when shooting it.
I hope to eventually switch to real cameras, just for the audio issue.
Have a wonderful weekend my friend!

"Hey buddy, watcha doing?" asked the gator.
People denigrate gators and other lizards with the term "reptile brain" but the fact of the matter is that large, predatory reptiles tend to be very smart, can and often do think things through and have very good problem solving skills.
As such, if allowed to think through and consider a situation, so long as a gator doesn't feel threatened or territorial, it will normally ignore you...which means that after considering things, if it does attack, then the attack was deliberate.
I've got a pet B+W Argentine Tegu and he is dangerously smart, having spent several months forcing me to reinforce his home as he kept figuring out how to get out of it so that he could lay on the couch...which wouldn't be a problem if he didn't feel the best way to get onto the couch was climbing across my computer desk and scattering everything on it throughout the room. >_

It depends on your state’s laws, some states require a .357 or larger PCP air rifle and some require a specific minimum muzzle energy.
The 13” barrel version of this rifle in .457 meets the minimum muzzle energy requirements for Michigan and Texas for deer hunting.
There is now a .357, .457, and .495 (.50) variant of this called the S45 Nitro, with a 24” barrel and a minimum of 850cc of air.
That rifle should meet and exceed the minimum muzzle energy requirements even in .357 for hunting deer, in most states. (Some states don’t allow big game hunting with PCP air rifles at all, simply because their regulations haven’t been updated yet.)
All of that said, with proper shot placement, the S45 .357 mini absolutely has the power to take down white tail deer.
Michigan Airgunner took a White tail deer on his channel with an HP Max .357 at 50 or 60 yards on “farm deer destruction tags” (I’m not sure of the exact wording, it’s been several months since I watched the video) and the HP Max .357 has, at best, around 150 ft lbs first shot.
So, about where the S45 Mini was on his 4th shot? 🤔

If you remove the muzzle brake, the barrel threads are M18, which is the standard DonnyFL thread size for .357 up to .50 suppressors.
The only rub is that you will most likely need to order an M18 to M18 2” barrel extension from either DonnyFL or Texoma Precision Pellets to clear the air tank.
The main difference between DFL and TPP’s barrel extensions is that DFL is Anodized Aluminum and TPP’s is machined steel (blued maybe? 🤔🤷🏽‍♂️).
Also, TPP makes a 4” M18 barrel extension, in case you need more length, whereas DFL requires a hacksaw to kludge 2 extensions together.
Regardless of the barrel extension that you choose, the Ronin and the Emperor both work with the S45.

    • @AirgunAlley
      @AirgunAlley  2 місяці тому +1

Hey Kevan, good question as you’re right - crocodiles are becoming a reality here in South Florida as more and more seem to be making their way up from Cuba. They’re no joke and they’ve been found swimming near crowded beaches recently.
The guy in this video is a “swamp puppy” or alligator. Generally harmless. I think “Caimans” is what they call them in the Spanish Caribbean, if I’m not mistaking.
Anyway, I was glad I had the S45 with me… in case it really was a croc 😂
