I lived in Tallahassee for majority of my life and I worked at a bar called Prime Time. Prime Time was not affiliated with Deion Sanders whatsoever, but just because of the name recognition and him being a Florida State alumni people came in often believing it was affiliated. Joel Klatt brought up a question I’ve been asking myself in reference to NCAA membership. At this point, what power does the NCAA actually have? So they’ve ruled Tez Walker ineligible; what are they gonna do if UNC flips them the bird and has him dress out and play this season? What punitive power do they actually have?
As an FSU guy I’ll say I can only imagine just how stacked of a class the Noles would have had they hired Prime but honestly I loved how he completely changed the dynamic of Colorado and bought so much money and attention to Boulder safe to say the higher ups and good ole boys didn’t want that in Tally but I’ll say I LOVE coach Norvell and they made the right hire ! GO NOLES !
As someone who never watched football in his life, let alone college football, Deion Sanders has made me start watching CFB. I'm a big fan of his and hope he's able to continue this trend
So does this only apply if Tez was on an athletic scholarship? What if he was on an academic scholarship & never played but then transferred & decide to play? Would he still have to sit out even if he didn’t play for the previous school & is on an academic scholarship? Idk the rules are just getting more & more confusing.
It would be great for someone to somehow create the USFL version of college football so the boys could get out from under the draconian rule of the NCAA. Probably impossible.
Im a lil older, so Prime was 1 of the reasons i became an FSU fan, in the 90s!! The first being the helmets and Bobby Bowden! But i too always seen it as an alter ego! Was it branding!?

I'm a recent sub of your show and I think it's great. Just my opinion as an old guy that played small ball (70's NAIA football), I've just not happy with College, particularly D1 football. I may be able to get through this year but team loyalty is gone. With the ability of hs kids getting massive sponsorships to play at a school and the open portals, it's just minor league NFL on taxpayer dollars. I'm sick of it. I was an undersized outside linebacker and wideout. Speed was almost ok in a time with college ball was all world class speed. I made a good target in practice but after a couple of dingers and losing the ability to remember the last 3 games, I had to give it up. I would still have stayed even if it meant just limping on with special teams once a game but my coach was looking out for me. Kept my scholarship even though I'd never suit up again. That's how much I, and everyone else loved that game. That game is not this game. I'm glad you keep me interested in the game. If not for your content, I think my departure from all NCAA would be over. I still love going to watch HS ball where my nephew is a new assistant at a 5A school. That's still game.
In the T. Brown case they should make a new rule about witnessing a death or something traumatic, as that would over gave him the one free transfer from JSU to CU. I know colleges already have rules if something traumatic happens to a student at the university.
This never ending influx of prices for football games is ridiculous. It’s only going to get worse, my son plays freshman ball and the program has already spent 5K for food only.
Jus finished watching a game where we though Colorado was gonna whoop their Division Rival in Colorado State but MAN did it turn out to be a hell of a game.....Colorado were down almost the entire game but after C.S. took out a Buffalo player with a dirty hit that sent him to the hospital, it seems like the tone of the game changed right there you could see it. The " Prime Effect " was in effect tonight as people who want to see him succeed like me and the haters that wanna seem him fail and Twitter was goin nuts thinking Primetime was gonna lose to Colorado State, what a gameeeeee
So y'all think the NCAA will be dissolved? Or will they actually cave in to the reasonable demands of the players and coaches to try to maintain their power?
Honestly, I don’t think coach is anywhere near his prime when it comes to this new chapter of his. I see this man winning multiple national championships.
That's super f up man. They better pray he doesn't commit suicide. Then this adds to another male sadly losing another mental health battle. This isn't right. Kid deserves justice, and he shouldn't be deny those resources either.
What up Flemlo I haven’t commented in a while but for Coach Prime I will… I was just saying how he deserves a blank check from the NCAA due to what he has done for the game itself. Dude, he used to be Neon Deion back in the day. I wouldn't doubt if he got the nickname Prime Time from the Atlanta Falcons playing on TBS or something similar since Ted Turner (from Atlanta, owner of the Braves) owned the TBS & TNT Networks. It's either that, or Chris Berman, host of NFL Prime Time from 1987 to 2005, gave him the nickname because he had highlights every week on the show when he played for the Falcons from 1989 to 1993. Some guy on a bus didn't give Deion that nickname. Make no mistake though, Deion is awesome.

Our highschool played against their highschool in tournament play. And they was calling him PrimeTime then and now. Now let's move forward Coach Prime went to Florida State in 1985 and I went to Florida State in 1986. And he was being called Prime Time at FSU as well. Also, this is the time his name, image, and likeness went Prime Time and the rest is History. For future reference speak on something you know not on something you think you know.

I recognized him at a burger place he was trying to be low key at. We both met as we were going to the restroom and I started a conversation with him. He's a great guy. The crap you saw on TV and the acting he did was just that.
I wasn't anyone but because the place was full, their was a small waiting line. He asked about where I was from, we talked about OU (I'm from Oklahoma) and just things guys talk about. He was not annoyed but just normal and cool. We talked about fishing too. It was about 10 minutes before he got in but he was the nicest guy and when he was leaving the BR he said goodbye on his way out.
He's a good man. I hope he get's a chance to move up in the coaching world because with his personality and ability to recruit/coach, he could make a program great.
I wish him the best as well as I wish you success with this channel.
Prime in mathematics is a unique number unto itself. There is nothing like it. It's truly a one of one number. A natural number greater than 1 that cannot be evenly divided by any other whole number except for 1 and itself. There is only one Coach Prime🔥💯💪🏾
Hard to hate on this type of hustle and motivation 💯 glad to see someone is doing something good for once
From fort Myers born and raised proud of everything he's done and is doing.
I lived in ft.myers & cape coma (coral) for 6~9 months at a time for bout 3 years. Still One of my favorite places on Earth!
Great videos as always Flemlo!🤙🏈
I lived in Tallahassee for majority of my life and I worked at a bar called Prime Time.
Prime Time was not affiliated with Deion Sanders whatsoever, but just because of the name recognition and him being a Florida State alumni people came in often believing it was affiliated. The name alone is a true money maker.
Yes, many will say everybody is using the mental health excuse. I cried at the Tyler Brown part of this video. How can anyone say his (Tyler) experience wouldn’t affect you the same? Wow!! 😢😢😢
I am a forever watcher, first time commenter. First off, I love you and all your videos/perseverance; it is truly inspiring. Secondly, I think this is one of, if not your best video. I really enjoy the fact that you have such an objective insight to the sport, as well as allow your content to speak for itself. A lot of people come off as biased or having a preconceived notions of what is “right” and “wrong” from whatever perspective you stand on. But I really admire how you can provide knowledge, insight, and information that enables everyone to come to their own conclusion. It is difficult to come to a rather different conclusion than the one you are trying to emulate, and that is what makes you so great at what you do. Much love always man. -Michael
Colorado needs to make sure that $ makes it back to the kids and community to help those in need. Not just the owners.
Flemlo and Prime don't get any better than that!!!
Maybe its just me but I hate when people call Coach Prime just Prime. Like damn he a coach give that man the respect he’s earned.
What the NCAA did to Reggie Bush was unforgivable.
I been watching ya stuff for years broski and I be thinkin how much better can this nigga actually get 😂😂😂 you u was made for this 💯
Got to grow up watching Prime play baseball games then NFL in the season what a time for Prime! 😮
GO NOLES !
You should be thankful Prime didn't go there. Your team probably would've been blown out 42-6 today instead of pulling off a win against Clemson.
I wish someone would. Though I'm sure the government and NFL would try to roadblock it immensely.
VERY INTERESTING TY FOR UPLOADING
Im a lil older, so Prime was 1 of the reasons i became an FSU fan, in the 90s!! The first being the helmets and Bobby Bowden! But i too always seen it as an alter ego! Was it branding!?
I love the economic reporting on the Prime Time effect. Keep up the great work!
It's just fascinating seeing the culture shift that the Sanders fam have brought to that group in CU. Even if they fizzle it still feels like a huge step forward.
I’ll tell you this, I’ve never watched ncaa football, only football, but this year since coach primes been in the ncaa I’ve tuned in every Saturday
Cringe
Back in 2015, I never thought I would see little ole colorado in the spotlight 🙌🏾
great video bro ! fire fire hat!🔥
You should do a story or update on the players that left Colorado👀🤔
The fact you’re not over a million subscribers already is criminal af
Joel Klatt went IN. DAMN.
Joel said a lot and I back those words 100%
Has there ever been a gaurd, tackle or lineman that was known as Moses? For parting the d line?
I am a Mississippi state university fan. We got a transfer from TCU. He is going through the same thing. They are saying that he will not be eligible until after Christmas because of when he transferred. Because it was after that January 11 date. He could not submit his transfer prior to that though because TCU made it to He is going through the same thing. They are saying that he will not be eligible until after Christmas because of when he transferred. Because it was after that January 11 date. He could not submit his transfer prior to that though because TCU made it to the national championship. So he is being punished for an entire semester because TCU did well.
I would love to see a collab with @FlemLoRaps doing a narration over a Well Off Media Colorado season recap.
I don't think any other coach in college football could do what Prime has. He's had huge impacts everywhere he's been.
"Never have I ever seen so much Coors Light as what we got for this game."
That's because you were always headed for the mountains of Busch!
We can’t walk past the tiger woods part tho 😭😂 I didn’t know that.
I used to pay 80 bucks to sit in section 120 row 8 back in 2019.. same ticket is over 700 to 800 for USC this year.
The NCAA sounding like the parole board at this point! 😳👀🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tyler Brown from CU got denied eligibility this year too after an appeal it’s crazy mane
Man, you a hell of a journalist 2:02
Brilliant as always
This never ending influx of prices for football games is ridiculous. It’s only going to get worse, my son plays freshman ball and the program has already spent 5K for food only.
Neon Deion/Prime Time is the best thing for college FB! I only like NFL but I've been watching 👀 CF this season
Once I got trashed and slept on a table in a pizza place on Pearl Street like thirty years ago...
not really a fan of NCAA football but Prime got me tuning in
You should do a what happened to John Ross since he retired this off season, as a bengals fan your the best man for the job
I was today years old when I found out tiger woods real name is edlrick
as always another great video
Honestly, I don’t think coach is anywhere near his prime when it comes to this new chapter of his. I see this man winning multiple national championships.
It's a damn shame. Corruption and greed is all it is
That's super f up man. They better pray he doesn't commit suicide. Then this adds to another male sadly losing another mental health battle. This isn't right. Kid deserves justice, and he shouldn't be deny those resources either.
The NCAA always finds a way......
Almost every ad I got on this video had Deion in it 😂 the algorithm doin it’s thing I guess lol
What up Flemlo I haven’t commented in a while but for Coach Prime I will… I was just saying how he deserves a blank check from the NCAA due to what he has done for the game itself. There are people who haven’t watched college football in years talking about CU. I’m an avid SEC and ACC fanatic (born and raised upstate South Carolina), living in “the heart of big ten country” (now residing in Columbus, OH. Since the naming of Coach Prime as the head coach, I’ve been a Colorado fan… that’s the prime effect in a nutshell
Edit: I can’t wait for the prime time cannabis strain
When do you compare the prime affect, and the LeBron effect there is a lot more basketball games than home football games though.
I hate Ticketmaster and all those predatory behavior of scalpers these days. I can remember as a kid going to see the Texas Longhorns around Thanksgiving every year growing up in Austin. The one year Ricky Williams broke the record I was there and we got our tickets for probably 100 bucks apiece… I would hate for some kid to miss out on sad experience because of scalpers becoming too greedy and buying all the tickets as soon as they go on sale basically. My dad took me to a bunch of rock shows in there too, and the concert scene is all fucked to.
That Hoodie is crazy
Can anyone give me a link to that Kobe cap he had on? 🔥🙌🏿
He got primetime in the 80s in HS. Neon deion came in the 90s
Get your facts straight and stop making opinions you don't even know or care to know. I'm from Jacksonville, FL and Coach Prime is also from Florida.
@@aheazzy28 Nah man, I'm telling ya. He got Prime Time after Neon Deion. I don't remember anyone calling him Prime Time at FSU (but I still love the legend of that combine story).
@@aheazzy28You are correct and don't let anyone sway your thoughts. By the way Coach Prime aka Deion Sanders hated being called Neon Deion. The media gave him that name not someone close to him.
Hey bro u gonna do somthin on arch manning? Not looking good 😳
Casually dropping that his name isn't tiger blew my mind.
That hat is 🔥
I predict that the Big10-12-16-24 or whatever it is next year, becomes fully independent and removes itself from the NCAA to negotiate its own rules and broadcasts - possibly even dropping recruiting completely and going to a draft model. The open hatred for the NCAA is simply bad for business, and when enough powerful schools have enough bargaining power to cut away, I see absolutely zero reason they wouldn't.
