I remember Victoria Resnick said it took her over 2 years to clear her acne! Bianca's vertigo sounds soooo scary. I can't believe it was gone in three days!!! Yes!!! I'm so happy for her and can totally relate to your chakras being open and clear on raw foods and you become a yoga superstar really fast because of the flexiblity. And the food cravings go away. And you manifest everything you want - even ripe watermelon in February in Canada! Almost everything about it is so awesome, everyone on Earth needs to experience it at least once!

Hi Gillian I love your videos and have followed your journey I probably have commented this on an older video however when I went raw in 2019 at 42 years old from watching a documentary called Raw, that featured people healing from eating raw living foods. I’ll never forget Woody Harrelson was on there talking about how he reversed skin conditions and allergies which was really cool m. and the changes within less than 2 months were truly amazing for me. I reversed terrible seasonal allergies that I had since a young child, I reversed chronic back pain that I had since late teens, I lost 50 lbs and have kept it off for now over 4 years. I had lots of energy like the level I had in high school. My skin looked better, skin and nails like everything. I eventually incorporated cooked Whole Foods and went through the entire phase of plant based vegan such as trying processed foods too. I returned to Raw June 2023 and even though I still felt good when I was just on vegan food however I feel home now like I will never ever not be raw for life. I did make a change though in my raw diet to include mostly fruits. My 6 months raw in the beginning of my journey I did vegetables and very little fruit. I’m really excited and just feel like I feel like even better with this method My energy has returned My skin is glowing I was beginning to get like if I sat at my desk too long my feet were like getting numb and I just didn’t feel as vibrant and alive I guess. Now my circulation is excellent My skin and nails look better like my compassion and gratitude is just at different level. My work performance creativity and motivation are increased This change came because I began studying what our natural diet is when hearing how fruit is what goes through our system the best and I learned from Nathaniel Jordan that fruit requires even less insulin to get in the muscle and liver cells. I discovered that I had it right for me from the beginning with that little change to fruits. I love how as vegans we can evolve and learn and with open mind and passion to live at our optimal level we can really thrive. I love love the tips and sincere information to help us succeed. Raw is our natural diet if there were no ovens stoves and I’m loving mono meals too I realized in the wild there will be little variety and it’s easier on my system for elimination. Sorry for the long message I’m just excited lol

For coffee, I totally get it! I love the taste. So instead, I use Dandy Blend and blend up my own "Frappuccino". Not sure if Dandy Blend is technically raw or not, but is a helpful transition.
1/2 cup "coffee" (1/2 cup water, 2 tsp Dandy Blend)
    4 dates
    1/4-1/2 cup non-dairy milk
    1/4-1/2 tbsp cacao powder
    1/2 tbsp hemp seeds
    1/2 tsp maca powder
    1/2 tsp lucuma powder
    1/2 tsp ground flaxseed
As much ice as you'd like
    Blend and enjoy :)
I haven't added these following ingredients yet (so I can't say how much it affects taste), but when I get them again I will try it out.
1/2 tbsp irish sea moss gel
    1/2 tsp ashwaganda powder
    Hope this helps someone :)

I love hearing everyone's different journey in healing. Everyone has a different piece of the puzzle for better understanding. It's amazing that Bianca was able to get into a thriving state. I think also the topic of anemia is so important, especially for vegans, and especially for all women. I was just reading that 37% of women worldwide are anemic. It is terrible, but learning how to correct it, and taking some advice from Bianca's experience by using chlorophyll, greens, and wheatgrass is super helpful. I learned recently that a woody vine plant called Sarsasparilla actually has the highest iron content of any plant. Also, I learned that turmeric blocks the absorption of iron and so does coffee. Just some more ideas for putting together the healing puzzle.

This was one of the most inspiring inteviews for me. Not sure why... perhaps what she shared about the benefits of going junk food vegan to high raw, and not even fully raw. I really enjoy all of your interviews, but it seems like especially the ones with regular people who are fairly new at it. I can relate more to them and feel very inspired by them. Thank you both again!

Great testimony and transformation. What a courageous beautiful young lady to be able to not give up on her health. I used to eat oatmeal a lot and experienced vertigo, light headedness, dizziness. After I stopped eating oatmeal, it all went away. I'm thinking that may have been her issue to. A lot of oatmeal has glyphosate which is a pesticide. I'm happy she kept looking for a way to better her health with food, especially raw food.

Congradulation Gillian Berry. You have become my top channel for reccomending people to learn about the living foods/raw foods/enzyme base, frequency base lifestyle. I was a raw vegan for over 3 years. I did really well on it. I got off of it and I gained 100 pounds. I became obese. Last time I weighed myself I was 260 pounds and I am only 5'7 and 3 quarters. I started raw foods again 4 days ago more. I did have a vegan chiplote bowl last night when I was hungry but today I had salads, and a kale fruit smoothie and peaches. I feel pretty satisfied. I think your channel is very well put and you give out a ton of value on the subject matter. Your channgel will help move forward the only diet that is meant for us humans. God bless you on ALL your endeavors! Sincerely, Issac Ben Avram.

I wasn’t ready or I didn’t really want to go raw vegan… but I’m overweight…I have weird episodes from time to time, my health isn’t perfect, etc… so I decided to try raw in the mornings, with cooked starches thrown in and some steamed veg or legumes thrown in…my other prob is the scale really hasn’t moved for a while now….. WELL!! so far I’ve been about 80% raw and I’ve lost 10 lbs since less than 2 weeks ago🎉🎉🎉🎉excited to see where I am a year from now

Omg since I'm eating an ultra cheap diet right now that includes cooked foods like rice and beans for dinner, I am so dependent on Dirty Bean Water (that's what my daughter calls it lol). When I go raw I just water it down more each day (I drink it black), but I love the adaptogen tip. It doesn't take long at all before you no longer need it. And yeah, coffee affects my personality. Very interesting. Instead of coffee, I was drinking 2-3 cups/day of cocoa with the equivalent of 35-50g of cocoa. I would add 1 tsp maca and 1/2 tsp of eleuthero or ashwagandha powder to it, as well as cinnamon and cayenne - and that made the energy of it more smooth and relaxed, and maybe the greatest benefit in that was that I felt less guilt as I drank it, like "at least I am getting my adaptogens".
But when I did my juice cleanse [29 days in June] and my fruit diet [15 days last Jan] or when I have been sick, I stopped cocoa cold turkey. I know everyone is different, but literally, I maybe had 1-2 days of a little lower energy in the mornings... but really no difference in how I felt! I didn't even think of cocoa. The thing I notice about cocoa is that I want to and can smoke a lot more [tobacco] and not feel low-energy or sometimes I get dizzy/feel dehydrated or even sick when I smoke too much/often in the day.
I had a very interesting and different juice experience than most... [I tell another time].
Thank you for this discussion!! I am inspired to really go raw or high-raw to get to where I want to go. How nice to hear that it only took 3 days to get rid of vertigo!! We hear that it takes time to heal, but to also know it can happen quickly with some things, is super important for the mindset I think.

Coffee doesn't make me feel hiper or do I feel like I need it to wake up in the morning. I wake up fully alert and good. I love the taste. The caffeine does not affect me in the morning one way or another. I drink Organic coffee every morning but never ever any other time of the day. I feel fine. I think it depends on how coffee affects each individual depending on your metabolism. I think you definitely can over do it consuming it all day. I have had it later in day or night on rare occasion and found out it keeps me awake, poor sleep etc so I just enjoy it in the morning. I don't use sugar just high fat heavy cream. There is studies on great benefits from Organic coffee but like everything don't over do it.I have gone without coffee for a week just seeing if I feel better or worse and I don't feel any different. I drink it because I enjoy it. I try not to do anything in excess so maybe why it doesn't effect me in a negative way.

Birth control is no good. I am between vegan, raw vegan after whole life eating meat. I always had veggies and I stopped drinking dairy milk 7 years ago. That stopped mucas colds. My acne went down. Alcohol gives me acne. I haven't drinked soda for 10 years or longer. I feel less anxiety focusing on eating more veggies and fruits and using cacao and ashwaganda. I know my breath has gotten better. All those years of meat rotting in me... maybe I feel.. a little bit of meat is ok. Especially if you have nothing else to eat. But only if you are going to burn thru it. Even then. Its been the veggies and fruits this whole time that kept me shiny. And I stopped eating them as much the past 3 years. Covid and some selfish relationships broke me down. I aged so much and focusing back on fruit and salads and raw broccoli. Not to mention way too much weed. Life was feeling grey. Its coming back. And I am seeing how carnivorous people and vegans who use tons of cooked oils and salt and coffee are both more angry than no coffee, more raw, less salt people

I think you two must be hyper-responders to caffeine or you have a trained response to what you expect caffeine does to you so when you have coffee...self fulfilling prophecy.
I drink coffee for the flavor and when I am on my phases of enjoying it, usually lasts about a month, I don't feel high from it or anything - it is regular not decaf. But when I get tired of the flavor I just stop drinking it for anywhere from a few weeks to even months. No withdrawals or thinking differently. I don't even think about it. I don't get caffeine from other sources either. No soda or anything like that.
Love the vids and great interview!

to have those emotional releases, crying etc during yoga is not reliant on being Raw. I say from experience.. and the acne was not due to cooked vegan or foods - she still deals with it... Perspective Perspective Perspective

Nothing taste as good as raw food feels. I am growing more and more intolerant to cooked foods. The more I eat fruit the more my biochemistry only will accept fruit.

Really agree with you - I'm at the beginning stages of transition and I ate "normal" cooked food yesterday because I was out all day and I felt sick! I rested through the whole evening, drinking lots of water trying to "cleanse" my body and get back my groove.
It gets more and more difficult.

Do raw vegan right. Eat sprouted quinoa and lentils. Don't just eat fruit and vegetables. Have emphasis on chia and nuts and seeds.

I was also told I was anaemic but this is after I had been raw already for 3 months and I was consciously eating a lot of greens/iron foods...but it evidently was not enough. As women we lose blood monthly of course so in general we need to stay on top of it. I only found out as well because I do blood tests every now and then (to check all these things) and that was when the doctor told me I was anaemic.. I was totally surprised because I did not feel any symptoms at all of this. So anyway, i began taking iron supplements (vegan friendly ones) and restored my iron in a few months :) I now take iron supplements still but just every couple days and not so rigid about it .
