I think the r7 is a simple yet powerful bike in a good price range for how new it is. great for an average rider, not for someone who's looking to be going crazy fast since the top speed is around 140 I believe
The R7 is a solid street bike with plenty of punch to make me smile while also being light and nimble. The hate mostly comes from people wanting it to be something it was never designed to be (R6). That said, I am planning to buy an R9 when available, but I will be keeping the R7 in the stable. I love it enough to not want to trade it in.
I got back into riding with an R3 and the R7 really looks like a natural progression. I saw one in town recently and went and took a closer look at it. It looks very similar in ride height to the R3. So much so that if got one in the same colour as my R3 I don't think the wife would even notice I traded up 😁
Definitely gonna have to try out the new R9's for sure. And will have to check out an R1 but idk that I will ever buy one to own though. To big and clunky.
I actually had a loose clamp on one of my coolant lines. Tightened it up a little and it's been golden so far. Haven't had anything on cold starts but if I do I certainly know what it is now. Appreciate the info.
To be honest it doesn't have as much power as I thought. Coming from the 500 to this not all that different as far as power. Though the R7 is stock and the ninja is not.
@@SethmotoXyou’re right but I think that it will be really faster if you take it to a track and push it really hard, you will feel the difference. For example, I’ve seen a lot of video about person doing 0-100km/h and the ninja 500 takes often5,20 sec. But the R7 take 4 seconds to 3,5. So you just have to push it really harder believe me
No absolutely agree. I mean the R7 is definitely going to be simply faster and all that good stuff. Depending on track I feel the 500 would definitely be able to keep up though.

I completely agree. So far I'm liking it. Does have a good bit of power for being the 2 stroke. It's been fun.

Yeah I'm enjoying it so far. Definitely been looking at the R9 as well. May be a bike I pick up in the future to.

Nice. It's fun. It is a great bike for progression for sure. And for your sake hopefully not. Lol
You gonna move to the R9 next? R1 is also good end goal.

The leaking is just condensation from the exhaust, mine does the same on cold starts

I agree. The 2 tone is ugly. That’s why I put my deposit down on the 2025. But more pricey. I think they said 12000 out the door in California
Yeah will be a little cheaper for me to just buy the gloss OEM fairings.
Love the way the r7 looks. just way to agressive for my taste.

What was the drive out price?
9k otd.
Good deal 👍
You should be running 91 octane.
I do run premium in it.
