What could it be when my 2021 F150 first starts it takes the screen about 45 seconds to minute and a half to turn on? Once it turns on there’s no issue. Just started today and it doesn’t do it every time I crank the truck.
Could be loading system setting or high traffic on the network could slow the boot process its pretty common slow boot Probably nothing to worry about.

Mine just shuts off and restarts going down the road. My dealership keeps saying they can't duplicate the problem, well, that's what they kept saying until it ran out of warranty.
Unfortunately if we can't get it to fail at the time of testing while the computer is hooked up to capture the failure to show ford its failing for warranty replacement we caint replace it even tho we know it's the sync module or screen but out side of warranty we don't have that restriction but some time the dealer can look back at previous concern and still warranty it depends on the dealer 👊🔧🚗🇺🇸
I get that, but there have been several things they have done the same way, when all they had to do was drive it. The last straw was the battery. I tested it. It was bad. The service writer told me it tested positive. Whatever that means. Then said it was good, just low voltage, and gave me my key, when I tried to leave it wouldn't even start the truck. I finally went and talked to my salesman and he made then replace the battery. They don't realize I have a shop and have the testing equipment. I bought a new truck with a warranty so I don't want to fix any problems, but here I am.
Could happen to any thing lol not just because it's a ford you could probably go trade it in on a Chevy or dodge and still.get top dollar because it's a low miles ford even broke 🙏💪👊🇺🇸🙌
BTW roll the drivers window down disconnect the battery 10 minutes open the door close close the door reconnect the battery and start it wait and see if it comes up
I came here looking for a fix as my 2022 f150 has done this off an on. Now since the latest update my head unit is dead. No back up cam, no nothing completely black screen. This plus the other two ford recalls on this truck🤦♂️. What a piece of crap. I’ve one problem after another with thing mostly electronic or electrical related. It does random shit going down the road too. Glitches. Where it start beeping at me for no reason or the collision detection will go off where there is nothing in front of me. Don’t by a ford truck after 2020..
Sounds like a screen issue I would try power reseting the truck disconnect the battery for like 15 mins or so open a door while disconnected then reconnect might bring it back
