Hi. I have this in my car and the screen turned grey with a plus sign in the upper left corner. No sound and if a press something then nothing happens. Do you know what it is?
It sounds like the touch calibration screen. Are the buttons jammed? Can you disconnect the power source? Via the radio fuse or the back of the radio. If not, try touching the + repeatedly until the screen clears.
@Mo's Tube Yes I have disconnected, but it's still the same. Nothing happens when I push the buttons.
@Helena L Unfortunately I am unable to solve the issue your experiencing, it sounds like a defective device. What's the age of the unit? Any potential for a replacement under warranty?
hope you don't mind me asking but how many speakers in your car cause i have 6
al dee I have 6 as well. But when I adjust the balance and fade I lose sound, I have kept it in the middle.
I just really need some help I've been out this for 4 days now and it's driving me insane literally I just need some help please
What's the issue(s) you're having?
What wire in the back of the radio controls the camera? Pink or green?
Pink
Thanks bro..

Why dont you tap you power antenna to red wire...
There is an unwanted noise like whistling from the stereo. Can u help me what's the solution for this
Don't bridge the wires like I did in the video... sucks but thats the feedback.
Hi, don't have blue and white, only blue...it will work?
Yes. Blue (solid) is for the antenna/amp.
@@MrMazzhitz02 thanks, I will try ,the electricity man told me he don't want to do it and he is not suggesting to do so.. my car is peagout 5008 year 2014, and the multimedia unit is aftermarket android chaines
@@omeryehuda104 do you have a factory amp or will you be bypassing the amp? I used the Steering wheel control harness in this video.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
@@MrMazzhitz02 how can I know if have? And is it make any difference? About the blue wire?
@@omeryehuda104 i had pulled the dash apart under the steering wheel to identify my factory amp. But Google your vehicle and see if a factory amp was an option and the location of the amp if so.
Most common places are: dash, under the driver or passenger seat or the trunk. Let me know what you find.
What connection went wrong where when the headlights are switched on the radio turns off and says no reverse cam installed.?
Orange wire installed??? Also check your connections to your backup cam, pink to your red Camera wire not the radio red.
did you manage to get the steering wheel controls to work with the radio?
al dee My Steering wheel does not have controls. But the RP4-CH11 is needed for the steering wheel controls as well.
my jeep has the controls on the steering wheel but i called bestbuy and was told that this harness (rp4-ch11) should handle both the amp issue as well as the control issue if the radio has that option.
al dee That is correct. If you notice the RP4-CH11 has SW on it. (Steering wheel).
Once hooked up completely it will enable the steering wheel controls.
Thanks man. Great work
What is the lgnition wire
I believe your asking about the Red Wire. This must be installed, to B+ to have radio power with the ignition off... but you must manually power off the radio after exiting the vehicle otherwise you'll kill the battery.
Greeting. I bought this kind of multimedia two days ago and everything works good, but when I take the key out of the lock and give the contact again, the radio resets to the factory settings. Do you know what could be the problem?
Keep alive memory. Check your radios fuse.
@@MrMazzhitz02 Both fuses are working. I don't know what could be the problem. My car is old and someone has already repaired the wires and jacks of the radio. I noticed that the two blue and white wires were insulated separately from each other. I looked on the internet and mostly in all cars those two wires are connected.
@@drkecman792 Blue with white stripe?
Connect the Yellow to the red and you will have 12V constant, you will only have to be sure to power on/off as needed.
@@MrMazzhitz02 Thank you friend your advice worked. Now everything works perfectly.
@@drkecman792 You got it Dr.👍 💪 👌
What is the pink wire for? Where does it go? Power or ground?
The Pink wire is the Park Sensor. This wire is installed to a Ground to bypass a safety feature and allow video to be displayed at all times vs. Only Park.
Is for.back camera right ?of pink wire
@@bigboycervantes5240 yes just for the backup camera. Completely optional.
I know ur close to md or in md because of that station lol
Where you buy it from !?
Best Buy
U did strobe brakes lights before?
Joe Pendarvis No.
Im currently using this unit and I do get the same problem but my issue is that it only loses sound after I kill the engine. All I had to do to get back the sound was to unplug the top and plug it back in but would really like to know if anyone has a fix, advice or tip regarding this matter. TIA!
Did you bypass your amp? If so that is probably the issue
Mo's Tube I dont think my car comes with an amp though
@@jastan94 what vehicle? Have you checked for a factory amp for your model?
No factory amps I know of. 08’ Impreza
@@jastan94 looks like if it has one it might be located under the driver seat. From what I just read. It covered up to a 2011. Otherwise you would not have a factory amp installed.
What was the solution i dont have audio and i disnt conevt stering wheel harnes
Do you have an amp or ampless radio? That will determine if you require the same harness I had used in the video.
I have the same din but my audio has a static sound but plays with a small static how do I fix that if u know
Joe Pendarvis i have the same issue currently. It happens only in Stereo and switch to Mono the sound comes in clearer but still not perfect.
I have yet to investigate the root cause but when I do I will respond and post a video.
Mo's Tube also need help with back up camera cause I have on that game with the car but is not connected along with the mirror link
Joe Pendarvis I will also post a video on the installation of the back up camera. I have yet to install mine. Awaiting Spring! We still have snow in the forecast... As far as mirror link, if your radio shows the same menu options as mine, it is not equipped to do so without an extra component. Look it up on yt.
Mo's Tube it has the phone link option but when I pressed it nothing happens
I wonder if I need more harness to get it working
How to do if no signal on roof monitor for video output
If I understand you correctly, the video output will be enabled if you use a usb/memory card. When the file is selected you can play a video at anytime regardless of a signal.
If you are inquiring about reverse camera video then with the proper connection you will only have a video signal while in reverse regardlessof an antenna signal. Antenna is only for AM and FM radio functions. I hope this helps.
i had this issue today on my 07 charger no sound
Did you resolve it with the same method? More than likely, you jad a amp powered radio system.
@@MrMazzhitz02 no I just bought a harness that made it cut the amp on
I got sound. Pink wire is video in
can I get the link to this video?

What kit was this bro?
Depends on what car. For the Dodge Charger use Rp4-ch11
No it actually did not work. Can't seem to figure it out
Sounds good of stereo. ?
Yes. Stereo works and sounds well. Did you get the harness yet?
@@MrMazzhitz02 yes but i have 3 wires i dont know if i need conect o just tape it . Is a pink.-brown -green -blue with white stripe. And 2 blacks.i think of blacks is they ground.
@@bigboycervantes5240 Tony, the Pink is optional install for the Backup camera. Brown is the FM wire. Blue with the white stripe is for the amplifier turn on. Black is ground.
@@bigboycervantes5240 sorry I missed Green: that is the Left Rear positive wire.
