The long term fix was 2 new keys programed to the system the key in the video had went thro the washing machine but was still working tell all of a sudden it wasn't left stranded in a parking lot and was towed to our dealership and at the time customer didn't have the 600 dollars for new key this method got him going tell he could afford new keys 🔧🚗💪🇺🇸

Most likely some one removed them alredy the washer was getting in the way of the signal because it came loose

@@fordtechlife bought my Roush brand spanking new, after snapping a Ford racing 1200hp driver side half shaft, when I replaced the axle it wasn’t there. Just put a little anti-seize between the axle and hub. And all was good

As long as you don't ground anything out you will be fine it's DC voltage it won't shock you if you ground somthing it will just get extremely hot lol 👊🔧🚗💪

I'm not sure how forscan works but on the IDS it's a PMI programmable module install on the CCM cruse control module then a CCM road test calibration procedure drive it tell the warning message goes off and the cruse starts working 🔧🚗👊🇺🇸🐎

I’m trying to find the wire connector at this point it be a lot easier than pulling the whole thing the connectors inside are way to small for me

@@fordtechlife I've tried every cable you can think of. Always happens. What did work is having a spare iPhone in my glovebox. And connecting the back up phone then reconnecting the main phone. But it also seems that it might be a loosey goosey port. Because if I hold my fingers under and push up it connects sometimes. But if I let go it goes away.

Call a ford dealer parts give them your Vin number they should be able to tell you 14 fusion some do some don't 🔧🚗👊🇺🇸

Unfortunately when its intermittent and you go thro the testing it's hard to pinpoint what's going on when it's failing consistently the fault can be isolated and pinpointed if you were paying 150.00 an hour you wouldn't just want us to thro parts at it and still end up with the same problem 🔧🚗💪🇺🇸👊

Now that these have been out for a while there is a recall on some explorers to replace the rear camera and harness and reprogram the IPM-B
