    The HAN can charge on 3 phases (if it is at least 3 x 16A), but you have to buy a 3 phase EV Charger separately (it is about 3-400€).

    I generally like the car as such. However: it's too much focused on the passengers in the rear seats. In other words: it's a limousine, not a real drivers' car. The fact that you can't expand trunk space by folding down the seats makes it kind of very impractical. It's also a very long car (almost as long as the Mercedes EQS which measures 5.20m) so again not the best handling in normal European underground car parks. The car already shows its age: it's no longer the most modern design, rather dated... I prefer the BYD Seal: more modern, folding seats, a frunk and as fast or even faster.

    This car is available here in sweden for 55.000 Dollars. They have cut the price from 70.000 dollars to 55.000.

      You can't use it in the winter it only has one heaterpump so when the battery needs cooling it will use the same as interior heater so it will fog up the interior if you have heat on.

    - one SERIOUS flaw it dose not fall apart and rust after couple of months like Tesla dose ;)
    - " byd makes a lot of cars but not as much as tesla?" what are you talking?
    1- BYD has outsold tesla by a lot.
    2- BYD global market share is 6% while the top number one is Toyota with 10.2% and guess where tesla is not even in top 10, its below 1%

    When Volvo brings out a new EV, it gets quickly labelled as the best EV in the world. When the Chinese bring out a good, competatively priced EV, there are always white reviewers who will point out one fatal flaw and they will be very subdued and finicky with praising the car. They simply cannot stand that the western hegemony and supracy has come to an end.

      What "White hegemony, supremacy"? Because Europeans invented cars and had the best car industry?
      Our enemy governments have attacked and purposely offshored, sabotaged and dismantled every aspect of our industry. And still it competes.
      No, White reviewers aren't trying to downplay Chinese achievements.

    Pretty much all luxury cars are a bit biased to the rear seats. Rolls Royce for example is heavily known for that, but even BMWs and Mercedes.

    The only reason its 70 000 € are the tariffs they put on it. Chinese are seling it domestically for 32k. Which for me makes it an unbelievable deal. Europe is pushing the switch to EV but cant compete. And in the end we have to pay for it!

    Not unless they cheaper. Atto3 in Australia is euro 30k but they make it for euro 19k so unless they sell them cheaper than tesla they wont sell. Atto 3 in germany is euro 38k. So why would you buy it????

      Maybe in China but in EU they slap extra 40% or so to the import price and they are 70+ buddy.
      If it was an open market they would be 30k

    Here is the truth after 20.000 km: The software is full of bugs! The charging is often stopping if you charge on Ionity chargers.and you must start it again at least one time often more. It's impossible to charge on Tesla V3 chargers open for all brands only V2. It happens that the cabin is fogging because the heatpump must cool the battery and then send wet air into the cabin. Temperature on climate control is wrong, If you want 22 degrees you must set it on 27! The auto steering is a bad joke and in higher speed than 90 it steers like a drunk man and just stop steering in curves without any warning.. The DAB radio has no antenna so the signal is week. On narrow roads the car is warning you for everything if you meet a car or a car is coming a little bit close with loud beep signals. And the navigation says "You are over the speed limit" every 3 minutes if you drive 81 in 80 sone and you must close sound on navigation to stop it! If you set a distance to the car in front of you on the cruise control the car set it back to an other distance if you stop the car and start again. If you want to change speed on cruisecontrol it accelerate far to slow. The tank for windshield washer is only 2 litre without warning for empty tank. Nobody have seen more than 320 kw on the meter in the car so its hard to belive that it really has over 500 ps. Single phase ac charging doesn't matter if you charge at home, but if you regularly must charge ac public you should not buy an EV at all.
    On the good side it's fast and with very low noise in the cabin and good to drive with good comfort. Interior and exterior seems to have very good quality.
    So far after 8 months BYD have done nothing to fix or update these bugs OTA. I think that the car has not been tested at all in European conditions before sales release december 22 in Norway. If BYD can fix most of the bugs the car is very good, but something must soon happens.

      @@jingxuanwei1165 I have had BYD Han in Norway since December 2022. And so far been driving 23.000 km. And the bugs are still not fixed!

      @mishka5152 BYD HAN's brochure says 7 KW A/C charging....
      Does it mean that a HIGHER kW ( 11 kW or 22 kW - THREE phase A/C can be purchased and "connected" and a FASTER charging speed can be achieved - faster than 7 kW quoted ) ? Any experience with Faster charging if more than 7 kW charger ?

      As far as I know all Hans sold in Europe has 7 kw ac charging (32 amp 1 phase) and not any option to buy more. In Norway where almost everybody has a wallbox in garage / parking space that's no problem because the car is fully charged over night. I'm also living some months of the year in Berlin without wallbox and then it's an other case. Most ac chargings in the street is 11 kw. 3 phase and then the Han with 1 phase only charges at 3,2 kw. On the top of this Han is not able to charge at Teslas V3 and V4 chargers (only V2). BYD says that they are working with this bug but nothing happens. After one year with Han I have a lot of mixed feelings about the car. Many good things but also a lot of bugs that not are updated. @@kcpping9007

    This car cannot do 3.9 seconds 0-100, it was measured by a professional team and the best time it did was 4.6 seconds. still good but nothing to aspire these days.

      Yeah same experience. They did 3.9 with perfect tires, tarmac and conditions. It was still amazing.

      Most not to say all cars don't do what they pretend to do in the leaflets... acceleration, range, charging speed - it's all a bit less. Or much less as did the Tesla with the model Y who claims as I remember a range of around 520 km WLPT and in a real long range test (mixed traffic, max speed 130 km/h, 10°C outside) by Autobild managed only 320 km.

      It can do 0-100 in 3.9 Seconds on a dry road easily. If damp then around 4.5

    Nice shape but those wheels are ugly. The key doesn't look high end either. With some tweaks it could be a desirable looking car to me.

    People don't want PRC brands because of (1) poor build quality, (2) the lack of a decent dealer network and (3) because these tofu cars come with extreme depreciation.
