"Look away, Look away. Hide your eyes from the land where I lie cold. Look away, Look away from the lies and stories that where told." brilliant lyrics.
Thats how it's done folks fecken class Stuart and the boy's having a blast at the barras the crowd eating out his hand the best live band by a mile and Ave seen the greats like queen etc wa freddie but nothing comes close to the big man up there having a ball it was a joy to be part of the journey RIP STUART gone but never forgotten feckin class
Wow! Quite literally my favourite thing on the entirety of UA-cam!!! Seen bits of this concert before but never the whole show. The whole band are on fire 🔥 Tony’s bass is thundering away! I love it! Thanks so much for the work gone into getting this out!
We can always count on you to bring us the best BC videos. THANKS ANDY!!! ❤ If I could have a Time Machine to go back to one Big Country concert, this would be the one!!
Many thanks for posting this show Andy as it's so good to watch again after all these years I must say. I Actually saw BC on the Safety Net tour way back in 93/94 at London's Town & Country Club Kentish Town Forum in the UK 🇬🇧 It was actually the very last time I ever saw BC in concert with Stuart on board God Bless him RIP ❤️ 🙏 😢
That would be awesome. This night's Fields of Fire is amazing, but in the extended mid section, Stuart plays Wild Mountain Thyme again. Was there more than one night of shows?
@@vfxtutswithdan1893 yes, there was three - Glasgow 29th, Newcastle 30th then Aberdeen 31st. A bit of interesting trivia: The version of Fields of Fire that is the final track on the extended Safety Net album wasn’t actually played this night in Glasgow! It was recorded from the Aberdeen gig on the 31st but added to the extended album because what’s a Big Country live album if FoF isn’t there somewhere!? So maybe Wild Mountain Thyme wasn’t played singularly at Aberdeen that night and that’s why it’s prominently featured in FoF.
Buffalo Skinners tracks with its punchier rock sounds and structure, BC classics, even an acoustic ease into the gig, some things progressed in time in their output however a full-on performance was never in question. I really miss seeing Tony in his element on stage. We can easily see how much the whole band treated the Barrowlands audience to a cracking night.
Is it allowed to sing along or am I doing something wrong ? 😮 This stunning performance do influence both heart & soul ..... A Happy New Year to all you devoted BC pigs out there ;-) The eighties are thankfully back again !
"Look away, Look away. Hide your eyes from the land where I lie cold. Look away, Look away from the lies and stories that where told." brilliant lyrics.
This whole Buffalo Skinners was, for me personally, the band at their absolute peak.
So many great memories from the 1993/94 tours.
Was at this gig, happy memories - Got it on VHS, thanks for sharing on You Tube!
Probably my favourite period of BC. Absolutely superb…….
They weren't quite The Bunnymen or The Smiths but I had a secret love for Big Country. So many great songs. A credit to Scotland and good music
I bought this on cd when it was released - amazing stuff. Then the dvd. Best band ever 👍👍
First gig, Belfast 1986 fuking outstanding, never forget!

Interesting how for the CD, some of the songs got truncated.
@@vfxtutswithdan1893 yes, especially the IABC mid section breakdown!
Still listen to the 2 cd version regularly. Glad it got re done and expanded at the very least
