    Some of you are missing the point; the contract stated that he must play. That's the only reason why the ticket prices were jacked up because people were buying tickets to see him play.

    • @samhayet4286
      @samhayet4286 5 років тому +1035

      Yeah, if he wasn't going to play, then they should get a refund. At the very least, Ronaldo should explain.
      South Koreans hold accountability in very high regard. If you don't do that, they're done with you.

      @@samhayet4286 I agree with u about refund. But if that happens then some people will try to say they were there when they weren't.
      Ronaldo already made his money and he doesn't even care about the supportive South Koreans. I'd be upset too....!
      If I spent my hard earned money on a celebrity, only to have no love or efforts being shown back I wouldn't ever forgive that person and cancel them as if they never existed.
      If it wasn't for HIS FANS, HE wouldn't have anyone watch him or see his skillset. So he better recognize his fans! He needs to apologise

    In case people don't understand what the problem is. Here's the nutshell:
    Juventus was paid 3.5 million to play friendly with the Korean team. And Ronaldo was contracted to play at least 45 minutes. Fans bought tickets to see him play. And Ronaldo and Juventus failed to honor the agreement.
    It's like a famous band coming to your city to play and they decide to play the record and sit on the couch instead of playing live. How'd you feel as a concert goer? Or the concert organizer?

He shouldn’t have went or at least made a message that he isn’t feeling well and compensate by possibly playing another match in the future for a lower price or something. Instead, he just sat on the bench and did nothing. He should’ve known people were going to be angry.

If Ronaldo is not feeling well he can apologize about it and at least he can do the fan meetings before the match. And may be wave his hand to the fans like Buffon did. @Bananananaba They think he is a god. The actual fact, he is an amazing soccer player. That's all if he can't even play for all his other fans, it shows his characteristics. He said he wasn't feeling well, it's not a world cup, I played other sports when I am sick, it doesn't mean you have to go all out. Play at least 15 minutes. South Korea should boycott all his merchandise. International fans are rude, I hope he does that to them one day and sees how they like it. It's easy to judge when you are not in their shoes.

But the ticket prices were SO expensive and with a family of four it really put us out of pocket. I can understand why so many fans were upset. At the end of the game I went to people got so bored that they started throwing paper planes from the top floors onto the soccer pitch and everyone was more focused on that then the game.

And I saw people leaving, you seriously didn't want to play the match? People leaving they were the people that wanted to see only Ronaldo

      the contract stated that he has to play for 45 minutes. the ticket price is high because of him. if he's injured, he should not be on the bench. that's why they are so mad. the problem is juventus and the organizer don't bother explaining.
