Guys (and girls) please understand Ana is saying how we would pronounce it without hearing the name first. The way a pt-br speaker would read it, ofc people who follow the sport will try to pronounce the right way. The same is true for German, English and etc.

Ela claramente colocou o conhecimento que ela tem do alemão quando falou o nome do Thomas Muller (não consigo colocar a trema porque tô no pc). Ninguém pronuncia Muller, todos pronunciam Miller, mesmo sendo errado. E é por uma justificativa histórica, visto que os brasileiros, quando liam o "u" com trema, achavam que eram dois "i".
Pegaram a pessoa errada, a Ana é poliglota, esse conhecimento dos outros idiomas distancia a pronúncia dela da pronúncia do resto dos brasileiros.

For Kylian Mbappé the correct prononciation is the sound m followed by bappé, not the letter m followed by bappé because the name from his father heritage (from Cameron origin I believe). So Brazil was the closest one to the prononciation, but even some French commentator sometime say m like le the letter as it could be said if it was a name from French ehtnicity.
That's it. His surname is easy to mispronounce, so if pronouncing it mmmmbappé is too hard, I would suggest not pronouncing the m, as the sound is rather low and subtle.
@@tonybaihao4178 yes m and b are a rare and weird combinaison in French, but after trying a bit it's easy to say the right prononciation, I think it's just that people don't really know it and I don't think Kylian said anything about people saying aimbappé instead of mbappé.

She actually pronounced Mbappé the right way. Not many know this but the combination of consonants is frequent in african countries. Even french reporters fail to say it properly, they usually pronounce the M first and the Bappé afterwards. Another example would be Mbaye Diagne (Senegalese footballer)
